Post about how happy you are and the good things going in your life.

    Original post
After going over a week wondering if Poison and I were still a couple and if he was safe, he contacted me last night. After that I had a talk with my father and sort of told him about the plans Poison and I have, but stressed that we're not going to do it until we're at least in our mid twenties, and he was very happy.

Sonic Generations, my first self-christmas gift(the other being Mario Kart 7) arrived today, along with Rayman Origins, which I can't play until the big "X". My Lady Gaga concert Blu-Ray movie(Over two hours long with an amazing set list) is on its way, and next week my complete Harry Potter Years 1-7(8 pc) Blu Ray set will ship.

And finally, I'm getting back into writing. Inspiration has struck and I'm working on my book, my play, my screenplay, and I've written three more songs. Not only that, but I'm back to painting and drawing. I've realized that the reason I can't create art I'm happy with is because I'm an abstract artist. When I experiment and strive to create what I feel, I'm finally happy with my work.

Exactly! It's a shame none of the men's depts in most stores have bright clothes. They're just drab and dull.

Nonetheless, I got a 20/24 on my Psychology test! Hooray!

I have made it my goal to acquire a tweed hat within a year! As futile as last year's fez search as it might end up, I shall try my best.

That's cool! I tried to make a fez last year (it didn't work out).

I just looked out the window, and it's snowing - the big fat snowflake kind that drifts towards the ground. Instant idiotic grin.

I'm so looking forward to tonight, too. Closing night is always great.

A tweed hat? What manner of tweed hat? A deerstalker?

I have a fez. It's cool. And from the Land of Fezes...Fezi...Fezopodes. Yeah. Tangiers.

In a really good mood. Dad broke down crying yesterday(There's a better chance you'll get struck by lightning than see my father cry. Not because he thinks it's a sign of weakness, but because due to his brain injury, he has a really hard time expressing emotions. Worse is that pretty much every guy in the family is like that...but it's worse on Dad.) and I talked to him for about an hour. Before he went to bed, he thanked me and gave me a hug, and said that, "It meant a lot to me that I was able to talk to you and have an adult conversation," and, "That talk meant more to me than you'll ever know."

He seems better.

As anyone who's been in YF for the last four days knows, I sorta reached my breaking point and exploded with hostility and angst. Thankfully all my negative emotions seem to be out.

To make things better, I've gotten back into reading thanks to the awesome Codex Alera series. I checked out the complete series on a whim, along with The Hobbit and the complete collection of The Lord Of The Rings, and man it's awesome. I find that a lot of high fantasy novels, especially A Song of Ice and Fire or Wizard's First Rule, are kinda pretentious. Like they try too hard to establish the fact it's a high fantasy novel. The first book in Codex Alera is more...spunky, a little quirky, but also takes itself seriously. It creates a more realistic world in my opinion. -shrug-

Slowly trying to contribute to The Fear Mythos - the seasoned vets have been nothing but exceedingly hospitable, and the subpar artworks I did received a lot more appreciation than I would've expected.

On the other hand, some of my close friends probably won't be here as much as I'd hoped throughout the holidays. :/ However, I'll be working on a strange competition thing and hopefully still be able to talk to my friends here enough to keep my narcissistic schoolwork persona from being perpetually depressed.

Subpar? >:/ BERRY. Those look PROFESSIONAL. We loved them, man. :) Keep up the good work!~

Today, I return to my home school...my proving grounds...where I belong.

Where I want to be.

My first appearance there, yesterday, was received well (understatement), so today will probably even be a better one.

I'm back, Churchland. Did you fuckers miss me?

Lovely then! Have a most enjoyable school year!

I bought salmon today, and a packet of biscuits. I also ate a muffin.

...

Ironically, that's the most healthiest meal out me and my friends bought from Tesco (a large superstore chain) during our school lunch break.

It's a lovely sunny wintery day here, which means I finally get to do laundry.

Normally, this would not be somehting to rejoice over, but I really. Really. Needed to do laundry.

Also, I had coffee and donuts for breakfast today, so in general, this is starting out a good day.

At first I was depressed, because the musical was over and I'd have to just go home after school and do my mountains of homework and not play trumpet and hang with my awesome friends and classmates and teachers.

Then I realized.

Wait.

I CAN SLEEP 8 HOURS TONIGHT!

It's almost as if it's not even over, here, anyways. Do people at your school keep bursting into songs for weeks afterwards too?

@Haldo - Being able to sleep for a LONG time is a BLESSING. -nods-

This may sound retarded, but my fanfic currently have 28 reviews and 31 Story Alert, despite having only two chapters. Yes, there are some fics that gathers like 60 of them in a single chapter, but I'm quite content.

It's an hour too little, but I've got to catch up on homework :P

My record for sleep time is 20 hours, I think.

We sang songs from musicals 3 years ago at the afterparty :D
