what can i say? i can't stay away for long.
i made an effort to clean Film.Liquid Sky, but it's still a stub (and, until someone cut it a little while ago, directed people to look at its Wikipedia page for its plot summary... yeesh).
Gear Saints is in really bad shape; I had to comment out a ton of ZCEs. The entire page is poorly put-together, honestly.
Mr. Splitfoot is pretty bad too.

Creator.Sarah Silverman could use some help. A lot of wicks were troping her rather than her works. I've cleaned those up, but I notice there are a lot of ZCE issues on the page, and I've commented out a few more.
I don't know anything about her, so I can't fix them myself.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Went through part of Chainmail Bikini. (I hope I'm not doing anything wrong.)
forgot to note that yesterday i did some work on Music.Ayreon, mostly the main section and the section on 01011001, as that's the album im most familiar with. the rest of the album folders still need work.
Also did Feminist Fantasy, although upon further investigation, I feel the definition doesn't seem to mean much — a "work starring a strong female protagonist", while noble, feels like a People Sit on Chairs situation.
Tista has only like about 5 examples that are not ZCE. While that may be enough for a work page to exist, it still looks pretty bad.

Was doing some wick swapping and stumbled on ExpositoryThemeTune.Western Animation. It's all song quotes.
I'm pretty sure the rest of the subpages have the same problem as well, but I cleaned the main Expository Theme Tune page at any rate.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢When doing a TRS cleanup the other day, I commented out ZCE's on Film. What A Girl Wants.
One of them involves tropes joined with a slash.
I did a ZCE cleanup for Fear of Thunder just now, but I'm left wondering for this trope how much context do we need? I commented out anything that was just "character's afraid of thunder/lightning", but left some entries I'm less sure of that at least describe their behavior during the event or mention its cause. However I'm not sure that's enough context on its own. For example, I don't think it's enough to just list the episode the event occurred in on a show, right?
Does this example below count as a ZCE? Because it's all over the place in Characters.Arknights Others where they just list a country or place as the IRL counterpart to the fantasy nation as the primary template and leave it at that.
- Fantasy Counterpart Culture: To Hong Kong.
Every single trope listed on Philip Pullman's page is a ZCE.
If anyone's read Fluke, or, I Know Why the Winged Whale Sings, feel free to add context to the examples I commented out. Also it looks like I've got another book to add to my ever-growing "To Read" list.
Hey how you doing well I'm doing just fine I lied I'm dying inside
Should Heartwarming. It Sucks To Be Weegie and Awesome. It Sucks To Be Weegie go as well?

So I went to add something to the Catchphrase example on Jacksfilms, and discovered that some examples have been commented-out.
Now, obviously there's no issue here if they really do count as ZCEs, but I'm at a loss for how to actually add context to Catchphrase examples beyond just stating the phrase and that they say it a lot. One of the hidden ones even seems to have about as much context as some of the non-hidden ones, so I'm quite confused as to what constitutes context for Catchphrase examples and how a valid example should be written.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper WallFirst thought for context would be to describe how and why a catch phrase is used. Is it just something they say randomly, like a Verbal Tic? Is it celebratory, or their version of Oh, Crap!?
Thing is, some of them he just kinda says as like a meme or Running Gag, and one of them that does provide that sort of context (points out he says it while closing episodes) is also hidden, while some of the non-hidden ones just kinda say "he gets into the habit of saying this".

You don't miss a beat, do you?
