Could Amy fall under You Don't Look Like You? She certainly had the most drastic redesign of the Sonic characters.
Keet cleanupI wouldn't think so. Reading the trope description the idea seems to be when adaptations change a character's appearance so drastically they're unrecognizable. Unless her redesigns made her something other than "bright pink hedgehog", I don't think Amy Rose could possibly qualify for that trope.
I fixed a few ZCEs on VideoGame. The Legend Of Zelda Links Awakening, and commented out a bunch of other ones. Since the remake comes out in less than a day, I might be able to fill in some of the blanks when that version comes out.
You can't always get what you want.I saw that this example on YMMV.Hellboy 2019 was commented-out:
- Tough Act to Follow: Many reviews compared this film very unfavorably to the Guillermo del Toro films.
I don't understand how this lacks context. I can't imagine anyone having a hard time understanding this, even if they had never heard of this franchise before.
If I may answer your question with a question: How was the new film compared very unfavorably to the first one? What made the original a tough act to follow? On that note, shouldn't this trope actually be on the other movie's page since it was the tough act to follow? In fact, the entry doesn't even really tell you which other movie it's talking about except through a one word pothole.
In short, this entry is simply "this is here" and that's not enough context.

sgamer is right.
The example just claims the films aren't as liked, but that adds no interesting information. It tells the reader nothing about the why and the how, which are both far more useful than just being told "this is a thing, trust me." Especially on YMMV, people shouldn't just be told how people feel, they should also be told why people may have that reaction or at least how people have reacted.

Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAlright, fair enough. I'll expand that entry later.
Which page should it go on, though? The del Toro movies have two separate pages.
I would say the first, since that's the big'un. I honestly didn't remember there had been a sequel to it until I was halfway through writing my reply.
I meant if it should go on the 2019 film, or either of the del Toro films.
If we're going with the del Toro films, I think it makes more sense to go on the sequel's page. Not only is it, obviously, the more recent entry, it's also the more popular of the two (in terms of critical reception, box office, and general fan consensus).

That also works.
Regarding post 1400, I've started up a TRS thread on Series Minus Series Core.
Alright, how's this for context, re: Hellboy?
- Tough Act to Follow: Hellboy (2019) was in the unenviable position of following up Hellboy II: The Golden Army, widely considered to be an Even Better Sequel to the already highly-regarded Hellboy (2004). The Golden Army ended on a cliffhanger which was meant to lead into a third Hellboy film, completing the trilogy. When the Hellboy reboot was announced, the reception was nearly universal that audiences wanted a conclusion to del Toro's Hellboy story. The fact that both Guillermo del Toro and Ron Perlman were both willing and eager to return to the franchise did not do the reboot any favors.

That's probably good enough.
From VideoGame.Pandemonium:
- Action Girl: Guess who.
Oh, no ! Please tell me, oh wise one who presumes everyone knows exactly who you're referring to!
- Well, from the description, it's gotta be Nikki, but I can't find any more context other than she's Female Protag, and presumably has to fight things?
And since the main combat method is the Goomba Stomp, that's not really that Action Girl?
No sword swinging or anything?

Alice has this. Most examples look like that.
I wonder, is that even a trope? It's hard to come up with any context. Bigger Is Better is a thing, but is there any more meaning behind this choice in clothes? (It's probably a good candidate for the "problematic appearance tropes" long-term thread.
Yeah, add it to the list next to Fingerless Gloves.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure Pureness- All those things are something like Impractically Fancy Outfit?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Dragon Project has a lot of zero context examples. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the game itself, so I can't really help fill in the blanks.
Not sure if this is the right place, but the Ho Yay page for Meta Runner’s examples basically boil down to “Belle has some concerns for Tari and/or taunts her, that means she’s a lesbian”. Personally, I don’t even see why this page exists.
“Now! Let us engage in the art of deduction!”Double X consists largely of examples that are just a name, either of the work or a thing in it.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.Trope 2000 is similar, but it's also filled with a copious amount of misuse.
Trope 2000 is something that may warrant a TRS visit. Not helping is that it uses "trope" as a placeholder, which is a deprecated practice.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!
I don't think Art Evolution is for character design changes anyway unless it relates to the art style.
