"Oh my, this is much like my world, then." Id said, looking at the scenery and monsters with a hint of surprise. Naturally, being a veteran to space-time-dimensional traveling due to a certain clingy artifact, the warp didn't do anything to cause him any concern. That and he was rather strong enough to take care of himself and then some.

And with that the old man made his way towards the city with an obvious spring in his step.

The path to Alexandria wasn't as light as one would think. A violent wind blew through the grassy plain. A monster not native to the area made itself known. It was known as a Marlboro.
◊ It's tentacles lashed out, swiping at the ground. It's bad breath contaminated the air, killing the nearby plants. Getting near it probably wasn't the best idea for anyone.

"Well, some parts seem familiar to me, but I can't grasp it... What is this place?"
At first, Lloyd was awed by the sights the city had to offer. However, when the Marlboro appeared, Lloyd unsheathed both of his wooden swords and guarded the group while keeping distance away from the Marlboro. Although he is not at the very front, he is more than prepared to attack the Marlboro - if it retaliates.
Shutdown sequence initiated."They even have monsters!" Id happily exclaimed at the sight of the repulsive thing, nostalgic tone coming on even stronger. He then looked at Lloyd and smiled, the youth reminding him of Grey.
"And a Blademaster!" He chirped, looking exactly like an excited girl with his features set in its positive expression.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Vita thought it would be best to just go with everyone. Maybe that would get this over with faster and they'd be able to return home. In any case, she was ready to use Graf Eisen. Especially since they'd come across that rather hideous thing floating by.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Despite the poisoned breath and the terrible appearance of the beast, Koril wasn't all that deterred and scanned it for weaknesses by observing it.
Those Tentacles seem fairly strong, Melee isn't a wise choice until they are dealt with.
He wasn't going to attack the beast since it would be a waste of time if it proved to be territorial and not aggressive.

The beast opened its large mouth, releasing a black mist. It branched out and into the air, eventually covering the sky above. It came slow, slow enough for the others to react. Afterward all of its tentacles rose into the air, firing off a stick, mucus fluid. It was rapid fired, shot after shot flew through the air and down at the ground. The mucus had acidic properties so it was a good idea not to get hit by it.
Makoto
The girl actually fell asleep in the middle of the field, using her tail as a cushion.
Even as the acid mucus hurtled towards Koril, he seemed pretty calm and disinterested at the glob of corrosive fluid heading his way.
"Oh, it is hostile."
And just when it seems that the old man would get hit, the mucus somehow missed him, going against the laws of physics and casualty. To those who had looked much more closely, it seemed that for a breif moment, the old man had warped and shifted into an impossible shape moments before the mucus hit him, causing it to miss. And immediately after that, he waved his left arm over his head, the burner releasing a glittering cloud of smoke that completely conceals his figure before suddenly reappearing on top of the monster, whereupon he drove his wristblade through it's skull, hoping to do some damage.

Shameless Self-promotion ho!"Umm... try not to make me do anything, I might accidentally destroy the whole planet," the Girl warned, by now having become small enough and chibi enough that Kyon's head was a perfectly sensible place to be. It was extremely fitting that Kyon had been subjected to this treatment, really.
I had no desire to engage in combat with a monster at level one with no weaponry, so I did the sensible thing and hung back with a planet-killing girl on my head. Go, miscellaneous people, I'm sure you can do it.
Ah, so there was a downside to this place. It had hideous monsters the likes of which Noel had never seen, nor had she ever wanted to. The slimy mass of tentacles and acid attacked some of the group, and Noel frantically tried to wake her inexplicably sleeping friend before it came after them.
"Makoto! Makoto! Wake up, there's a scary monster right there!" Noel wailed.
"The whole planet?"
Tsukasa muttered.
"Great. Now it's bringing back bad memories that I don't want to remember."
He went to reach out for the Decadriver while eyeing the monster, grabbing the device
◊ as the young man contemplated on transforming to Kamen Rider Decade.
"Ah... this reminds me of old times." Id commented, drinking a cup of tea as he watched the others engage the Marlboro, happy that capable people were taking care of it. "It wouldn't do to work up a sweat so quickly after a bath now, would it?" The tone that Id voiced his opinion in had no smugness nor arrogance, but rather like he was simply stating a fact.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Vita reached up to the small hammer-shaped pendent on her necklace, and pulled. There was an audible snap as she did, the pendent getting pulled free from the necklace in an instant. The monster had no idea who it was messing with. And Vita figured that the quicker they got through this, the quicker they would get home, so...
"Eisen!"
An orb of red formed around Vita, completely obscuring her from outside view. Within, her current clothing of a simple skull shirt and black skirt(one of her favorites) was seemingly obliterated, as Eisen grew and reassembled itself into a long-handled red hammer. An elaborate dress began to form, though in truth it was more armor then a dress, complete with an odd hat with stuffed rabbit heads decorating it. The moment it had finished forming, the orb around her shattered like glass.
"This giant tentacle thing better get the hell out of our way!"
"Schwablefliegen!" intoned Graf Eisen itself, causing five small silver spheres to appear in front of Vita, floating a little ahead of her. She raised Eisen and swung it at them, sending them careening right for the monster. Upon hitting, they would explode.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Makoto
"Huh... Noellie?" Makoto opened her eyes, seeing her blonde friend in distress. "A monster? What are you talking about No- OH MY GOD!" the squirrel sat up using her tail as she looked at the green beast. "Okay ... okay... THAT THING IS UGLY!" she pointed out the obvious as she stepped forward.
"Alright, not wasting ANY TIME!" the girl then threw off her cloak, watching one guy shoot a grenaded, a boy guarding with wooden swords, and a red-head bashing the monster.
"Never mind." the squirrel said as her ears twitched. There was no need to show her fabulous strength! She let out a deep breath, putting the black cloak back on.

The grenade exploded inside of the monster's large mouth. There wasn't blood, there was only acid. The hot fluid rained down from the sky and onto the dead, grassy ground. The monster screamed in pain as a certain red gothic lolita smashed metal, explosive balls into its body. More sections of its body blew up, launching even more acid into the air.
The beast lashed out five of its tentacles in a last ditch effort to hit anyone nearby. The Malboro, with its life fleeting, fell backward and onto the ground. Its body was nothing more than a pile of green, stinky flesh.
A silence fell upon the plain as the monster was defeated. With the monster defeated, certain yellow birds came out from the shadows of the forest.
◊ They didn't mean any harm. "Wark!" was all they said as they approached the group. There were a total of seven in the group. No young ones, all adults. Whatever they were they were indeed friendly.

"Wait! That thing looks poisonous!" Noel warned Makoto. Insanely high strength wouldn't do much good against an acidic tentacle monster, after all. Although, her fears were ungrounded after all when the other group members handily disposed of it.
Noel watched on in wonder, surprised that the monstrosity was defeated so easily. With a sigh, Noel shook her head. "I gotta calm down. I'm a lieutenant..."
"Wark!"
"Wah!" Noel jumped at the sound of the yellow bird things. Nowhere near as scary as that... thing had been, but still startling. Although... they were much better to look at, and didn't seem eager to maul the group.
Mustering up her courage, Noel took a step forward. Still nowhere near them. Well, good enough.
"Makoto? What are they?" Noel asked, as if Makoto could possibly know. "They... don't seem too bad."
Lloyd slashed one of the tentacles as the Malboro unleashes it's last ditch attack. The acid made him took some damage, but not enough to make him concerned. When the monster finally dies, he sheathed both of his wooden swords by throwing both of them to the air, and grabbing them and sheathing them as they drop down.
When Lloyd spotted one of the yellow birds, he nodded up and down, and he started to move to the side at one of the yellow birds. He closed his eyes and smiled.
"I don't even know what it is, and I'm beginning to like this place! I feel relaxed over here!"
Shutdown sequence initiated.Though the car was extremely out of place here, I climbed into it anyway. Presumably, a self-driving vehicle with a thick skin of steel was the safest place for any normal person to be. That the car was also an impossibly large transforming robot—just as bad as Haruki's red giants—didn't make any difference.
"Chickens?" the Girl wondered before she was dragged into the car by her place on Kyon's head.

Renamon sighed at Makoto's overreaction to the scenery, it reminded her a bit of Jerri, who would always be happy around other people.
"I suppose it's nice..." Renamon muttered as she looked around her. "The creatures don't seem hostile either...hopefully they stay that way."
Random? Insane? No, I just have my days. Now, where's the tea?
