Well, I'm done with the Humble Bundle. They moved the goal-posts mid-transaction and now I wasted $7.00 on games I didn't want and missed what I did by a penny.

But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you.

You can add two more pennies to what you paid :/

Credit where due, they allow you to adjust your order. Then they demand another fifty cents minimum.

But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you.

Geez, lot of anger about charity xD

Can't you just send them a message or something?

I thought the stated average is valid as long as the page is active.

I don't think I will really "subscribe" to monthly bundle, not unless I know there is something I want. I got too many games already and I worry I will just end up with either tons of crap or tons of games I already own

Well we're over halfway into the new bundle and since no ones posted about it yet i'll do it.

The humble Capcom bundle:

$1: Strider, Resident Evil Revelations 2 episode 1 (+coupon for 50% off the rest),Lost Planet 3, Bionic Commando Rearmed,

Beat The Average: Resident Evil Revelations 1, Dm C, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 4, Remember Me (the last 2 were week 2 bonus games)

$15 tier: Resident evil 5 Untold Stories DLC, Ultra Street fighter 4 (with all the dlc Costumes of Super SF 4)

I grabbed it mostly cause there were more games i didn't own already than did.

Well, the Humble Monthly Bundle just unlocked.

Saints Row IV, Besiege, Valkyria Chronicles, Lethal League, Sanctuary RPG, Tower Fall Ascension, and Legend of Grimrock II.

You can't get last month's Humble Monthly Bundle anyway.

Well, if you subscribe (i.e. pay) now they give you Towerfall, and next month's Monthly Bundle.

Is there any way to get the past indie bundle? I seem to have missed 15.

Not legally, no. You can probably find most or all of its contents in the Humble Store, though.

They tend to feature stuff in the bundle discounted in the Humble Store immediately after the bundle ends.

Just last week, there was a Humble Codemasters Bundle, which is the first bundle I've purchased in months. It had a lot of good stuff in it. This week, we have the Humble NEOGEO 25th Anniversary Bundle, which contains the following games:

Tier 1 (Pay what you want):

  • ART OF FIGHTING 2
  • FATAL FURY SPECIAL
  • KING OF THE MONSTERS
  • METAL SLUG 2
  • SAMURAI SHODOWN II
  • SENGOKU 3
  • THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2000
  • BASEBALL STARS 2.

Tier 2 (Pay more than the average):

  • THE LAST BLADE
  • PULSTAR,
  • METAL SLUG 1
  • METAL SLUG 3,
  • SHOCK TROOPERS
  • NEO TURF MASTERS
  • THE KING OF FIGHTERS '98 ULTIMATE MATCH FINAL EDITION
  • TWINKLE STAR SPRITES
  • Neo Geo 25th Anniversary Soundtrack
  • More to come

Tier 3 (Pay $10 or more):

  • SHOCK TROOPERS: 2nd SQUAD
  • SAMURAI SHODOWN V Special
  • GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES
  • METAL SLUG X
  • THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 UNLIMITED MATCH

Tier 4 (Pay $40 or more): a NEOGEO 25th Anniversary Ltd. Ed. METAL SLUG SV-001 T-Shirt.

Most of these games are DRM-free and can be played on the browser, with only a few games having Steam keys. Many of these games are tagged with "Humble Debut," meaning this is the first time any of these games were released on Windows/Mac/Linux.

Just bought the big Neo Geo Anniversary bundle. Go grab it. there's only 14 hours left.

Warning though, the emulation is done shoddily. On browser it's slow as fuck, and if you download the emus, well, they speed up to insane speeds. Like, 3x normal.

TwilightFalchion Since: Oct, 2010

The ones not on steam do come with the proper roms though so if you can find a better emulator you can use them there.

#718: Dec 22nd 2015 at 6:22:06 AM

Shit, I'd pay $10 for the Metal Slugs alone.

Wait, did you say it included the roms? Meaning I could install a Neo-Geo App on my Android and legally play these?

As i said it's only for the ones not on steam you just have to browse the install folders and take the right zip files.

The ones on steam unfortunately don't have them.

It should be fine since you DID pay for em....

The Neo Geo bundle is gone, but in its place is now the Humble Square Enix Bundle 3. It comes with the following games:

Tier 1 (Pay $1 or more):

  • The Last Remnant
  • Life Is Strange Episode 1
  • Tomb Raider I, II + III
  • Murdered: Soul Suspect

Tier 2 (Pay more than the average):

  • Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (with 30 days of FREE play for new subscribers)
  • Just Cause Collection
  • Front Mission Evolved
  • Gyromancer
  • Yosumin
  • Humble Store coupons for 20% off Just Cause 3 and 33% off Life is Strange Season Pass
  • More to come...

Tier 3 (Pay $8.99 or more):

  • Lara Croft & the Temple of Osiris
  • Tomb Raider: GOTY Edition
  • Hitman Absolution: Elite Edition

The one that caught my eye here the most is FFXIV in the BTA tier. I'm totally getting the bundle for that alone tbh.

I guess it should be noted that FFXIV is the only game on the bundle that doesn't come with a Steam key, but all in all I don't find that to be a big deal.

FFXIV probably comes with its own launcher.

Probably better that it doesn't have a Steam key, because of that.

Nettacki Since: Jan, 2010
#722: Dec 24th 2015 at 5:09:32 PM

I can confirm that's the case. Though for whatever reason, when I first got it, there wasn't a direct link to the launcher download in the humble page itself. I had to search for it and download it from the Square Enix site.

Some new bundles recently. First, the Humble Jumbo Bundle 6 is about to expire in 19 hours and contains a lot of indie games. Second, there's a Humble CRYENGINE Bundle that contains a lot of starter packs and assets for the CRYENGINE dev engine kit thing.

Pay what you want for Plants & Shrubs, Trees, Environment Props, Prototyping Kit, Textures, Decals & Visual Effects, Mo Cap Animation Pack - Basic Military Rifle and FPS 'Paintball' Project.

Pay more than the average price to also receive an Audio Kit, Ryse Nature & Animal Pack, Vehicles Standard Edition, City Pack Standard Edition, Weapons Pack, Crytek Formula Racing - Starter Project, and Nexuiz.

Pay $13 or more for all of that plus Illfonic Survival - Starter Project, Ryse World Building Pack, Ryse Roman Pack, Vehicles High Quality, City Pack High Quality, and Characters & Animals.

Lot of stuff. Will probably buy it later on the week before it expires.

Also The Mobile Bundle has Grim Fandango : Remastered and Frozen Synapse Prime. The former never gives me anything but a black screen after loading 3 GB of data, though...
