On both the forum and the wiki, I'm a Serial Tweaker.
It's probably terminal.
Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember them, you are not alone.I also can't count, so I am often going back and adding more or less
s to my post.
I do it a lot despite proofreading my posts. This is usually because I'll somehow miss a huge typo and have to fix it lest I look like an idiot.
There's also the problem with getting ninja'd when I'm using
's, as well as often having too few (and once, too many)
's.
I also do it when I remember another thing I wanted to add or when I fuck up some formatting (like accidentally forgetting to close quoteblocks)
So, it's a rare occurance to see one of my posts without an "edited [D M Y H:M:S] by Malph" tag.

I do it if I make a really, REALLY stupid typo or if I forget something in there.
The only thing I hate about editing my posts is that if I happen to do it after a few other posts have been made, it makes it look like I changed the contents to fit my own agenda in light of the later posts, which I never do but am always paranoid of being accused of. But, then, I'm paranoid of a lot of stupid things.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Am I the only person who doesn't like having a single word on one line? Not the intentional This! Is! SPARTA! kind, but just having the last word of a sentence on its own line?
It just irritates me for some reason.
I try and do what I can to avoid that unsightly edit message.
What's the frequency Kenneth?|In case of war.I try and not to edit my posts, I only edit them if I was ninja'd, messed up the formatting in my post, or worded something wrong and had to change it so it makes more sense.
NO TREE FOR ME (ALSO LOVES HER BOYFRIEND)I'm a perfectionist. Nuff said.
Also, I may not have time to over-proofread if a thread is moving at the rate of 90 posts per minute.

A post preview feature would be rather nice, as would having a different way to register edits. I don't mind them, but the placement is rather ugly. As it is, though, they're the least of my problems, just a mite annoying.
