Can I play?
"You've got your transmission and your live wire, but your circuit's dead." - MediaI call for a Reboot, I might even GM if the last one doesn't exist/doesn't care/approves . Does anyone have the card list?
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Hey there, everyone! I don't plan to be a part of the next game, but since I was in the previous one and just happened to be passing by, I thought I should answer Strawberry/all other possible new players' questions.
What is this?
1000 Blank White Cards is a multiplayer 'card' game, and the (original) goal is to earn as many points as possible. The main gimmick is that the players make the deck, adding as many zany effects and bonuses as they want, knowing full well that any Game Breaker they create could easily wind up in someone else's hand. Four games have occurred in the TV Tropes forum in the past, at least one of which ended because some player lucked out with card draws and ended up earning 10 to the power of 23 points...give or take a few billion.
And how do you play?
Initial order of play is determined either randomly or by the order they signed up to the topic (if someone joins an in-progress game, they're usually accepted and placed last in order). Each player starts out with 5 cards from the 'deck' (which, if you choose to use all the cards made by Tropers thus far, consists of over 700 cards), which they recieve via PM from the host and probably should not make public if they hope to win. Players must play a card on their turn, and will be PM'd a new card at the end of the round (one round = when everyone playing has a turn). In the event that a player does not post within 24 hours when it is their turn (which begins immediately upon the previous player posting a card), their turn is skipped in order to keep the game moving. It is recommended that players create one new card each round so that the deck never runs out, but considering the deck's current size, I think everyone has a fair bit of leeway in this regard. Unless a card is played that changes the rules, the 'win' condition is to have the most points by the time everyone loses interest in the game.
I certainly hope that this is of help to somebody. Oh, and I think a link to the card compendium (a spreadsheet with links to all the cards made thus far and a summary of their effects) is included on the first post of this topic. Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Still here.
Silently watching.
Silently waiting.
