This thread's for all of the X-Men comics and spin-offs (X-Force, X-Factor, New Mutants etc.), whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate X-Men, X-Men 2099, X-Men "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- X-Men 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Wolverine, Deadpool, Ms. Marvel and Cable.
- Characters and comics that originated in X-Men and its related books but are no longer connected to the franchise are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their X-Men related stories here.
Discussions that are only about X-Men adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).
I have to say that the X Men franchise has been going on for decades. Maybe not as many as the Superman franchise has, but it still has quite a number to it.
One thing I am certain of is that the franchise seems to be subverting Status Quo Is God in recent years. Magneto and Professor Xavier seem to be fading into the background, with Cyclops and Wolverine taking their places. A lot of villains associated to the X-Men have been killed off and have actually stayed dead so far.
All this gives me the general impression that the franchise is trying to reinvent itself. Do you think that's what's going on here?

Are Wiccan and Speed still mutants? In the latest issue of X-Factor, Speed was apparently visiting Krakoa as a guest and couldn't stay the whole time, which was confusing.
The impression I got from that scene was simply that Tommy doesn't live on Krakoa.
Not all mutants live there, after all. He might even have rejected the offer of citizenship.
Last I checked, they were both mutants still but then their origins have always been strange.
hellions and x-factor are the best x books. I hope polaris doesnt get moved to the main team
I feel like even if Polaris gets voted onto the X-Men, she'll stay on X-Factor also.
X-Factor is like a day job, while so far the X-Men seem to be a very ad-hoc group.
I think I read a tweet by leah that said shes off x-factor if she wins
Hey, speaking of X-Factor, Williams is actually following up on Theresa's possession by Morrigan from PAD's run. Much like with Strong Guy becoming a demon lord (from the same run) and the morality inversions from Axis, I'm pleasantly surprised; I feel like not too long ago there would be no further stories there and the characters would snap back to the status quo with a Hand Wave or even no explanation at all.

I love those data pages. Is there like an Imgur album or something that compiled them all?

I believe Iara, or Sharkgirl, can transform into hybrid or full shark forms from her base human shape.
Mammomax, on the other hand, seems locked into hybrid mode. However he has been rezzed since then, which it's been mentioned can have slight changes.
Plus he never got that much focus anyway so a writer could always just say he can transform, he just never has on panel before.
Oh boy, Mammomax. Of all the characters that were rezzed, I find him the funniest. A gag villain from the damn Austen run. Krakoa really will let in anyone.
...though we haven’t seen the Neo yet...

Yeah, he's a big doofy elephant man.

That comic looks gorgeous. All the 90s tea.

Gyrich represents the Far Right in government but somehow is actually a better man than the current GOP.
I do hope some of the character actions are based on Moira-compromised Xavier influencing people. I really want to know how Magneto stands being on a council with a literal Nazi doctor.

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I wonder if the empty Council seats will get filled around the same time the X-Men team gets voted in, or beforehand.
They have been empty for a bit, but I also don't think there have been any important votes since.
My politics makes me disagree with you on that statement.
That the GOP is worse or Gyrich is better?
I mean, it could go either way.

Just what the Summers needed. Even more members with a headache inducing origin.

Wake me up at your own risk.I like how the Marauders handled the new Reavers, aside from just dealing with them physically.
Bobby basically told them "don't start nothing, won't be nothing".
It's too soon to say, but if they're out here massacring mutants, then probably.
They're definitely not the relatively good (though still morally grey) OG Squadron from Earth 712, that's for sure.
