Carn's hand snapped part of the way up, Carnifex at the ready to blow the Batarian in the tux's brains out, before deciding that there might be someone else who wanted to shoot the Batarian.
"Anyone have a reason to want to kill him personally or a reason he's more valuable alive?" he asked.

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.

Rose approached the batarian. "No, we need him alive," she said. "We need a hostage if we want to get out of here in one piece." She grabbed him by the arm and pressed her weapon against his side. "You're going to take us to the exit. Right now."
'Cross my heart, strike me dead, stick a lobster on my head.'"Ah, right biotic." Thresh said, on his feet now. "I'm healing as we speak, though." And so he was. By now, his bullet wounds were three quarters shrunk.
"Thanks for the thought, though. It can be easy losing track of things when your having so much fun."

"See, now we can kill him." Rose leveled her gun and sent a bullet through his abdomen.
"And we need to get you back to the ship," Dru said to Joe, "See if Doc can patch you up."

'Cross my heart, strike me dead, stick a lobster on my head.'The batarian grabbed his stomach as the bullet went through, blood filling his mouth as he took a final breath and collapsed.
Joe grabbed his arm and turned around, "Stupid thing's broken, and the stupid jackass is dead. Now all I can do is beat a stupid corpse to - uh...."
Numerous people in the marketplace were paying attention to the group of armed people who had bust through a door and shot an unarmed batarian.

"Oh don't you all pretend you haven't seen something like this before." Thresh said, slightly offended. "You're on Omega." Thresh began walking briskly towards the one person, a batarian, that had for some reason not turned around and paid them any attention.
To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.From somewhere in the ship, there is the sound of someone trying to get back into an air duct, failing, stepping on the wrong part of the ceiling, and falling through, hitting the ground with a loud thump.
The person involved was a small, blue-tinted vorcha, who looked around to make sure that he hadn't been seen. before moving off quietly through the ship, trying to find another place to hide.
Anyone who wants to can run into Karak here.

There is an unexpected rattling sound from the roof, as if somebody had been trying to sneak through the ventilation shaft, and discovered that a particular portion of it wasn't actually screwed in, but merely snapped into place. Perfectly fine for normal ventilation purposes, but bad if someone was trying to clamber through them.
