It seemed like a usual midday rush in Mundus City, a huge city made anew out of a huge amount of the Western United States. In the aftermath of the attack of the "Starmen" or the "Angels" as some called them, a single large city rose up due to the rising importance of a group of people who fought off the invasion.

At the head of this city was the governor, Drake Ashred, and a dedicated corps of heroes and heroes in training who were kept in action in order to keep the crime rates down and to counteract any attacks by the Starmen.

In the last few years, though, it has seemed that chaos over the rest of the world has led to many people making a plea toward Drake to lend his heroes toward their causes. He agreed in a pact called Dynamis Agreement, which meant that each disaster prevented or scheme thwarted, the City was paid.

The Academy

Dex swore, for someone that had figured out all the quantum mechanics behind his powers and the various ways to manipulate them, his days were remarkably dull. People had learned fast not to fight him, the last guy had been some Super-Strength using jock that thought he could snap the relatively frail looking Dex like a twig over his leg.

Out of some twisted humor, Dex had snapped said jock's leg like a twig. Granted, he was forced to repair it, and he hated having to put things back together with his powers. It was the exact reverse of everything he did normally, and so it had proven quite difficult.

And not in the exciting way either. He sighed and finished his next math assignment, and waited for the next one to come up.

The Barracks

A sergeant, one of a decidedly young look, called through the base for the various heroes, as there was a job to be done. Apparently, something was happening in Paris, and Drake wanted them to look into it. He made a call over the base speakers, "Heroes, please report to the mission control center for information."

Touma Kyosaku woke up with that, and brushed his long blond hair out of his eyes, and leaped down to go report. He had just joined up two weeks ago, but had already earned his hero credentials despite having no formal power.

Well, other than his natural instincts as a fighter and skills. He did not know which martial art it was that he used, but he supposed that it was natural. He didn't remember much about his life between his first six years and then a year ago, he woke up in the care of two elderly people.

And now he was out here. He did not really care about getting his memories back, but as long as he could save people by being a Hero of Justice, he would not mind much. And the macho types around here calling him princess due to...appearances...he had learned not to mind them.
