Sorry about that. (I'll never know whether I made the right choice. Oh well... I suppose that's what RP is about.)

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.@Hevchenko, all of the above. The circumstances that come up will determine what the rolls are used for.
@Savage Heathen, I need to know the numbers of the individual dice as well.
@Shadow Bender: Given Ego is the only thing standing between Trixip and mind control spells, I wouldn't use it as a dump stat if I were you.
Ok, no more dump-stating. He already has all the complications he needs anyway.
Sanity? Why would I need a useless thing like that? Now posting as Motor-Runner.About Crossbow Reloading... What's the strength requirement?
Sanity? Why would I need a useless thing like that? Now posting as Motor-Runner.I'll go with the repeating crossbow, then.
With 6 presence and 7 Strength, It should work... Unless Elail helps him.
Can his familiar help him reload? And what about the ruby powder cloth I suggested about the Everburning torch?

Sanity? Why would I need a useless thing like that? Now posting as Motor-Runner.Thanks, SKJAM. I just came across a pdf version of the Hero System's equipment list completely by accident, and the equipment is quite different from d20's. Am reading now. EDIT: These are 5th-Edition references and may be outdated.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation. Can you post a non-pdf version of the link? I'm on my phone now.
Sanity? Why would I need a useless thing like that? Now posting as Motor-Runner.EDITED: Linked to copyrighted (and relatively outdated) data.
Another convenient reference is attached. CAVEAT: These are 5th Edition rules, do not necessarily address the Fantasy Hero rules directly and may be outdated.
So, to clarify: what do you mean by "can be used with a light shield"? Do you mean that even with a light shield (and only a light shield) equipped, the minimum Str required to wield these weapons is Str Min and not Str Min + 2? And can the +1 DCV still be applied?

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.@Pyrite, upon more careful examination, you don't get the shield's +1 DCV if you're using your hand and a half weapon with both hands, but you don't have to unequip it either. Also, no shield-bashing. If you try to use the 1 1/2 hand weapon and the shield at the same time, the higher Str Min applies.

Are the Str min values from the above links still accurate? (Read: are the Str min for the Warhammer and Battleaxe still 13, or 15 if used one-handed?) If they are... *sigh* Here we go again.
- -1 Pre (to 12, maintaining a +1 modifier... if this system was d20 in the first case) (I know Turn Undead is Pre-based, but it's not going to do anything at this point.)
- +1 Str (to 15, to actually be able to wield those weapons one-handed)
- Keep Warhammer and Battleaxe as weapons, for thematic purposes.
- Change Shield (back) to "Heavy / Medium" Metal Shield - the one that corresponds to 2d6 Shield Bash. (Sorry, in the d20srd shields didn't come in "medium").
Unless there's something else I'm missing (any hidden stat requirements?) , this is how I'm keeping the essential items.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.More world background:
_The T'sae Order_
Back before the Tumbling Times, missionaries came from Kralorera, far across the Eastern Sea, to the Known Lands. They brought not so much a religion as a philosophy, a way of achieving enlightenment and oneness with the universe through meditation and self-discipline. While these ideas were interesting, what attracted the most attention was the missionaries' superior unarmed combat skills.
These skills were originally designed to help the adherents of the philosophy gain the physical vigor necessary for their austere lifestyle, and to be used in self-defense if absolutely necessary. Over the years, the definition of "absolutely necessary" has become somewhat loose.
There were enough adherents for several monastic communities to be built, each following a slightly different version of the philosophy. Then came the Tumbling Times. The oceans were closed and all contact with Kralorera was lost. The monastic communities were forced to become armed camps to survive, and some of them did not in fact survive.
The T'sae Monastery was one of those that survived. Most of the monks are orphans or abandoned children who have known no other life. At the edge of the monastery's land is a hut with a device called "The Wheel of Rebirth." A child is placed in the hole in the wheel and it is then rotated inside the hut. Once a day, a monk checks the hut, and if a living child is found, it is named and raised by the order.
Others join the order in later years, mostly for the chance to learn the fighting skills. They are required to undergo trials to prove their desire to join is not solely for worldly benefit, and that they have the required discipline.
Ex-monks are a fairly common occurrence. Most of them are former novices who chose to leave on good terms when they reached adulthood; they often settle in villages near the monastery and are known for being hard workers and the backbone of the village militia. A few are kicked out of the order for crimes against it or the philosophy—they are branded, and often have their hands or feet broken to cripple their fighting skills.
And then there are the ones like Mono'a, who just wander off and don't bother to follow the full discipline anymore. Every so often, T'sae order monks will show up to test their skills against his, and make sure he isn't abusing the philosophy's teachings for evil.
Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate it, and a peaceful Thursday to those who don't.
Exactly how many dice do we need? 5?
Sanity? Why would I need a useless thing like that? Now posting as Motor-Runner.Can I use home-made ones? Cos I'd rather have physical dice.
Sanity? Why would I need a useless thing like that? Now posting as Motor-Runner.

I used the site, I'm making my own 6-sided die as of now. Making 3 dice.
I'll just post my results first: 3d6 = roll 3 6-sided dice to get a value between 3 and 18. Rolls:
- 4, 4, 1 = 9
- 3, 1, 1 = 5
- 6, 3, 5 = 14
- 6, 6, 2 = 14
- 2, 1, 3 = 6
- 1, 6, 6 = 13
- 4, 3, 1 = 8
- 1, 5, 6 = 12
- 2, 5, 1 = 8
- 5, 6, 6 = 17
