The Engineer stopped whacking what he was working on when one of the sentries started aiming. He took a look at its target, the freshly-awoken man in red, and pulled out his Wrangler in order to stop the Sentry from firing. "Woah there, Bessie, don't go blasting his head off now. Well there, pardner, feel like talkin now?"

"Uh... we serve glorious Soviet Union! One minute we were in base outside of Moscow, next we are here. We were sent to see who lived in new base. Here is... we don't know where here is yet. Premier and Comrade Yuri probably know!"

After hearing the Explosion, The Berzkerer kicks the Heavy away then attempts to cut the falling soldier in half with his chainaxe.

Luke dashed again, stopping in front of Kain for a moment, guns pointed at the Marine's face. A smirk played across his lips.

"I'm like nothing you've ever SEEN before! There's no way you can defeat me!" He declares, firing quickly several times before dashing away.

The bullets splatter harmlessly on Kain's helmet and curiass, prompting the Champion to laugh at Luke.

"Whelp, you overestimate yourself. JUST LIKE A SOON TO BE DEAD ELDAR!!!"

Kain gets into a stance that readies him for a sweeping strike of his axe. The Chaos Marines meanwhile, continue their assault on the Ghouls, with the Havocs finally getting in range and fire a volley of frag missiles at the mob of zombies.

The ghoul army is torn apart, and none remain except the Valentine brothers. Jan ran away in the confusion, screaming something about how he'd be back again another day. Luke Valentine, meanwhile, scowls at Kain, who he apparently cannot harm. Placing his rifles back in their holsters, he draws a single, large bowie knife, and dashes forward, appearing in front of Kain once more and thrusting the knife at his right eye with a combination of Superhuman strength and sheer momentum.

"Shut up and die!" He roars.

Kain grins madly under his helmet, the fool took the bait.

"FOOL!!!"

Kain then lashes out with his chainaxe, the way he swung it ensuring that his arm will block the knife. If that had somehow missed, his bolt pistol firing at point blank would do the trick.

Luke is taken off guard, and the chainaxe slices from his shoulder to his hip, while the bolt pistol fire impacts his chest as he stops instantly and runs off. His wounds slow him only slightly, and even then they begin to heal, faster than a human's, but not instant. Breathing heavily, he can only lust for blood. He knows that even if he is not killed, the Doctor has heard everything through an implanted computer chip. He will not return to base until the battle is completed.

He reunites with his brother some distance away, the two leaning against his wall. Eagerly, the two drain the blood of several corpses, closing most of Luke's wounds into scars. Jan's head is suddenly smashed to paste by a pale, tattooed fist. Mismatched eyes stare at Luke, who pauses.

"I take it you're my back-up?" He asks. The newcomer grins.

"Obviously." She replies. "Since zis little bitch ran away, and you zeem to have been injured. And, you know, you lost your whole fucking squad."

"Shut up." Luke growls, as the two begin to walk back to the battle. "And try not to fall behind." He dashes off, and she follows behind, slower.

About two minutes after he left, Luke returns to the Chaos Marines, followed by the pale woman, known as Zorin Blitz. A glowing purple eye has opened on Zorin's right hand, and reads the Marines' minds. Grinning she slams her right hand against the ground, and symbols flow from the right side of her body, forming into thousands upon thousands of vaguely humanoid shapes.

Luke and Zorin suddenly vanish from the Marine's vision, as the shapes gain form. They become illusionary Imperium Space Marines, who open illusionary fire upon the Chaos Marines. Zorin and Luke, meanwhile, dash around unseen, attacking. Luke runs in as close as possible and aims his rifles at their eyes, while Zorin merely swipes her scythe at heads with enough strength to cleave steel.

The Engineer just shrugged. "Sovie- Prem- Yuri? You got a way we can phone yer boss up? Nah, I reckon you don't" As he said that, he went to the intercom on the wall "Ma'am, you might wanna come down here." He turned again to the man. "One wrong move and thisere gun'll target yer sorry be-hind."

As the Berserker swung his chainaxe upwards, the soldier fires downwards, propelling himself upwards again, towards the other two berserks currently cutting up several mercenaries and fighting with the Pyro and Demoman. In the confusion, the Heavy managed to put on his large, steel, gloves.

As she stormed out, the Engineer turned to the person on the floor. He muttered "Sorry, bub" and turned on the sentry, turning the floor around the man as red as the clothing he wore.

Every single one of the marines fell for the Illusion, wasting ammo and looking like idiots; All except Kain, Who was protected from the magick by his Patron Khorne.

"YOU THINK YOUR ILLUSIONS WILL WORK AGAINST ME?! THE POWER OF KHORNE ALLOWS ME TO SEE THE TRUTH! AND THE TRUTH IS YOUR DOOM!!!!"

Kain then ran towards Zorin, His chainaxe hungry for the blood of a Psyker. But his charge was interrupted when the Autocannon Havocs shot at his general position, fooled by the illusions and striking their Leader a few times, clearly damaging and injuring him.

"RRRAAAAGGHH!!!!"

Kain strikes the ground with his axe in anger, creating a shockwave and sending dust flying upwards, concealing him from the "friendly" fire and possibly the Vampires as well.

The Berzerker got knocked down and clearly hurt by the Soldier's rocket, giving the Heavy a chance to do some serious damage.

Before the Heavy could land a punch, Hale charged in, carrying one of the fallen berserker's strange axes, cutting through the two other berserkers and he went towards the last. As he sliced through the last, he let out a shout. "Just like hunting sharks in an ocean."

The Berzerker's mangled corpses litter the base grounds, bleeding tainted blood.

Back in the Chaos landing site, the surrounding land had been warped and twisted by the malignant influence of chaos; making it suitable for the heretics to summon fourth prefabricated buildings from the eye of terror and into this dimension, thus giving the Black Legion access to heavy weapons (for the ones that didn't have them in the first place) and some armor support in the form of Rhino APCs.

"This crusade goes without hindrance... I almost feel ashamed for slaughtering such weaklings."

Eliphas then looks into a palantir-like object that shows Kain's embarrassing situation.

"Hmmmm... These Millennium fools fight like Eldar. I wonder if their blood will be as tantalizing to the eyes."

Eliphas sets off, walking towards a Chaos Rhino that had just been crewed and is being loaded with a few Noise Marines.

"Noise Marines..."

Sighing, Eliphas pushes one of them aside and takes his seat inside the Rhino.

"Take me to the city and make it quick!"

The Marine driver nods and shifts the APC at full gear, With the Noise Marines opening the top hatch and rocking out as the wind buffets their faces; thus prompting Eliphas, who favors Khorne to face palm at their antics.

"HAHAH!" shouted Hale as he stood over the pile of corpses, including mercenaries he had killed by swinging wildly. "We need to find someone who isn't so mad they attack us on sight. We need to find out what we can from them. THEN we kill them." The eight members of the team and Hale were nodding their heads when they heard a noise from behind.

"Sorry I'm late, fellers, but I think it's worth the wait."

Save for Hale, the others who had visible jaws had them open in awe at the sight before them.

Fueled by adrenaline, the team charged off into the distance.

Outside the city itself, on one of the giant land masses that the Golden Gate Bridge was connected to, there was a massive flash of light.

And suddenly what had been a park was now a bustling field of metal, with gleaming towers, what looked a bit like pump-jacks, and what were obviously generators of some kind. And among them were exceptionally tall tree like structures, which began to spin as they charged up.

And standing among all the buildings was a single very confused mecha and its pilot.

What...what the hell?” Asked Vrake, the pilot of the UEF Armored Command Unit. His machine turned around slowly.

“I'm on Earth? But...” Then he fell into his normal routine, getting his base's shields up. As the domes of blue energy came over the entire base, he noticed smoke rising from the city.

“Where are the civilians?”

The Doctor bit his thumb through his glove, hard enough to draw blood. From what he could survey through the implanted chips in Zorin and Luke, the illusions weren't working on at least one of them. Zorin was strong, and Luke was fast, but these... there were exactly two vampires that could put up a fight against them, and they were guarding the base. So he would not be sending a vampire for this job.

Zorin dashes around the dust cloud, attacking the soldiers that are actually affected by her illusion instead of risking it. Luke, meanwhile, jumps back, surveying. He's not particularly a match for soldiers this powerful, and debates trying to run away without the Doc terminating him. Suddenly someone taps him on the shoulder. He spins, pointing his rifles at the newcomer, then pauses.

"You... is it really that serious?" He asks, somewhat frightened. The silent man merely shrugs, before tossing the blond vampire his jacket. He rushes toward Kain at speed similar to Luke's. However, instead of weapons the Captain lets loose with a superhuman punch that can pierce tank armor, aimed at Kain's chest.

Kain blocks the punch with his arm and is sent sliding back 4 meters, the pavement ruined by his feet digging into the asphalt and damaging his arm armor enough to expose his freakishly muscular skin.

"Ahhhh.... FINALLY A WORTHY CHALLENGE!!!!"

Kain holsters his bolt pistol and dashes towards the Captain at the speed of a truck then backhands him across the face before swiping at him with the chainaxe.

"YOU TWO COWARDS SHOULD FOLLOW YOUR COMRADE'S EXAMPLE! TO FIGHT LIKE A TRUE WARRIOR!!!"

The other Chaos warriors meanwhile, were getting taken down but not out by Zorin's efforts since it's very tough to kill a Space Marine.

The Captain, though surprised that Kain managed to block his punch, did not falter. He swung his left fist to counter the backhand, and drove his right at the chainaxe in an attempt to shatter it. At the same time, Luke appeared behind Kain and began to fire at the back of his head.

The Chainaxe's adamantium construction and daemonic enhancement weathered the blow easily and slowly began to cut through the Captain's inhuman skin, the back of the head fire only served to enrage Kain and causes him to redouble his efforts killing the Captain; That is until a frag missile fired by one of the Havocs hit the area near the trio and sent hundreds of red-hot fragments flying towards the general direction of the warriors, Kain was quite protected by his armor; but the fragments did enough damage to his armor as to force him to disengage by hurling a frag grenade at the Captain before getting away from the rest of his squad to avoid any further friendly fire.

Vrake spun around and marched to the center of his base as he looked over his production abilities. He was up finally to level 3 in aircraft, at the cost of not getting beyond level 1 in both ground units and sea units yet. He had a few Mass Extractors pulling the needed materials from the rocks deep underground, but he was still limited.

“Okay, I can't do quality. I got to do quantity.” At that, with a mental order, his factories began churning out Mech Marines, his basic and lightest infantry. Standing in at 12 feet high, and armed with two large caliber machine guns...they were the absolute weakest infantry he could produce. He glanced over at his aircraft factories as the four Level 3 Transports, named ''Continentals''. These were massive aircraft, armed with both anti-aircraft missiles and plasma cannons. They were also equipped with a shield generator, allowing them to withstand greater punishment.

In typical UEF style, Vrake's Mech Marines were produced in number. In this case, a hundred and twelve of the things. Splitting them up into four 28 mech squads, each boarded a transport.

Mentally directing them, each flew out into the city, to act as scouts and initial troops.
