I honestly find most Shonen Jump series and Fighting Series in general are getting too much hate nowadays.

Remember when anime seasons were characterized by one or two bad shows instead of one or two good shows? Yeah, those were the days...
Seriously though, Rebuild of Evangelion and TTGL get waaaaay too much hate. Ro E definitely moreso than TTGL, but still.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialOverhated? Not A Word...

Its never been like that really but it depends on the place you go to, opinions vary massively.
This forum seems to gather a lot more vocal haters that never shut up than most though.

I don't think any anime is "overhated." At least, not ones that don't deserve it. Once a show becomes popular enough (thus liked), then anti-fans form. This is also ignoring warring fandoms, which is just... pathetic to look at.
Like, One Piece. The most popular series as of now, but it still has a sizable anti-fanbase, mostly made up of Naruto fans or "hardcore" anime fans that don't like change.
Haruhi Suzumiya. That's like the show for anime fans, for reasons I can't understand. A lot of the anti-fans (which I guess I could technically be part of?) started off as fans, but it simply became way overhyped and discussed. Hence, "hatred" towards the show.
Hate is a really strong word, though. If you hate an anime or any show for that matter, I think you've got some problems. Hate is a dedication of disliking something. I don't go out of my way to talk bad about Haruhi Suzumiya or other shows I don't like, but some people do, and that's a little ridiculous.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorGundam Seed Destiny was pretty weak, but it wasn't entirely bad, and had some pretty good concepts.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntDragonaut The Resonance. Sure, it's rather crappy, but there are a lot of far worse shows.
Ironic, as i actually LOVED Dragonaut the Resonance.
In a similar Vein Blassreiter.

Watch SymphogearWhy does Blassreiter get a lot of hate? I'm curious because it was eventually on my to watch list, thought admittedly, it was fairly low on there.
Imagine Rakan applying Calling Your Attacks to doing paperwork.~Anarchy Rakan for the hell of it COMMISSION THIS BRIDGE!~EHKThere's four basic things that make up a hatedom:
- Fans irritated at the way things are going. This is the main cause of hatedoms, especially for larger fandoms (and it requires enough investment that it's rare in smaller ones). Probably the "deserved" hate, though there are things that can cause it to be very large (like coming back after a hiatus)
- People that are irritated at seeing it all the time. Tends to be fairly minor for most anime and manga, especially if you leave 4chan
- People that enjoy watching things get torn apart. Not really true hate
- People that find the concept repulsive. These sort of people generally prefer not to think about the series that repulses them
...This is only tangentially on topic, but I think it's worth posting

Where would people who hate GT go? They don't fit in the first for obvious reasons....
Most instances I've seen of that either fall under 'concept' (things like lolicon or rape) or a sort of pre-emptive 'tired of hearing about it' (fans of similar things bothered them, so they assume this'll be bad)
It's still the first. Fans that don't like the way things went

Agree on Naruto getting too much hate. Sure, it's formulaic, poor characterization of female characters are rampant, Uchiha in general influences plot too much, but just look at all the cool stuff the characters pull off.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.

Which anime do you think get's more hate than it deserves?
For me it would be Dragon Ball GT. Sure, it's not as good as either of the shows that came before it, but it's still good.
