...Gaaah why do so many R Ps that appeal to me keep popping up recently. >.< Um, hmmm.
...I'd like to try and take part (although I haven't actually read Force; I've only ever seen the three anime series, to be honest), but... We'll see. I'll see if I can come up with something and make this work out, ahah. >.>
Mmmm, okay, that works out fine then. Okay, guess it's time to go figure out my character. And by that, I mean binge on Super Robot Wars clips. >.>
- Name: Avair Reventón
- Gender:
- Age: 32.
- World of Origin: Cranagan, Mid-Childa. It is the capital.
- Appearance: Tall, standing at six foot two, and with crimson hair down to her knees. Other notable attributes include red eyes, fangs, and surprisingly large breasts. Her normal attire is the standard Enforcer uniform* .
- Personality: Avair is a Blood Knight with a minor flaw: a Split Personality that has a single difference of the less-common side being a Combat Sadomasochist. Outside of combat... well, she’s a perverted alcoholic that smokes far more than any one person should.
- History: Avair was born in Mid-Childa’s capital to a reasonably well off family with close ties to the Saint Church. Little of interest happened in her youth—except for some odd incidents involving not being as bothered by pain as she should be—until she ended up with a position in the Church Knights. They very quickly decided she was more suited to serving in the TSAB’s forces. After being moved from branch to branch, she eventually decided to take the examination to become an Enforcer, surprising everyone by _passing_. This actually worked rather well for a few years, since it meant less ignoring her superiors and picking fights when stealth or subtlety were required.
Things took a downturn one day when Avair got a little _too_ close to death. In fact, if it weren’t for the intervention of a certain Mad Scientist she _would_ be dead. For whatever reason, he chose to see what the effect of converting a fully grown person into a cyborg would be. Oddly, there was little functional change—for some reason her magic circles became the same as that in IS Activation (albeit as red as her eyes, her previous magic colour)—apart from an ability to use magic at full strength in an AMF.
The TSAB just put her down as ‘missing’. It was amazing a missing S-rank Knight hasn’t attracted any attention. She eventually resurfaced after the Scaglietti incident, having fulfilled some undisclosed function. Due to keeping quiet about what she actually did, Avair is limited to A-rank. - Device: Fimbulvetr, a Belkan-style Armed Device, quite likely a relic from her time as a Church Knight (along with her combat style). In its standby form, it’s an oddly cheerful-looking knife connected to a silver chain, worn as a bracelet. In its MAIN form, it happens to be a five and a half foot zweihander with a ricasso designed for loading individual cartridges. Apart from that, it displays two other forms, both of which require magic: one as a sword insanely large, akin to the gigantform of Graf Eisen (it even shares the same name), and the other a seemingly limitless amount of throwing knives, which are still plenty sharp enough to be used in melee combat (messerform).
- Barrier Jacket Knight Clothing: For some truly inexplicable reason, Avair’s main protection is in the form of a black qipao with armour plates over her legs, along with some rather nice silver bracers on her arms and legs. For some unidentifiable reason, her feet are bare... though this does have a purpose. The more masochistic personality tends to use an alternate mode without the metal, which functions akin to Fate’s Shin Sonic form.
- Magic Style:
- Flight
- Ancient-Belkan Style
- Mana Conversion Affinity for Ice
- Front-line Brawler
- Magic Colour: that of light shone through a ruby
- The Rare Skill ‘Doppelsöldner’, which puts the currently-dormant personality in charge of a frail construct with a fragile imitation of Fimbulvetr. Easy to take down, if you can hit it, but it tends to make odds... bad. Despite being a Rare Skill, it functions more like an IS—as in, its use leads to golden eyes.
- OC or Canon: OC
- Other stuff: She's a combat cyborg, obviously.

Umm... sorry, Nick, but no. Firstly, you filled out the magic section incorrectly; and secondly, that history doesn't make sense. Earth isn't administrated because it just isn't, on the whole, magical, correct? Now, that would remove the need for an entire organisation to police the planet. Then comes the other thing: the TSAB seems to like recruiting people from Earth who display magic, since there's a notable tendency towards power and attaining high ranks. See Nanoha, Gil Graham, and Hayate. :|
That their name seems like some odd amalgamation of the Church Knights and Saint-Kings isn't too helpful...
- Name: Fate Testarossa-Harlaown
- Gender: Female
- Age: 25
- World of Origin: Mid-Childa, most likely, given that it appears to be where Project Fate's base of operations was.
- Appearance: This lovely woman.
◊
- Personality: You're joining a Nanoha roleplay and you don't know what Fate's like? For shame.
Anyway, Fate's personality is easily summed up as 'shy', even though she's far better than she ever was as a child. Out of the three girls who joined the TSAB, she's also the most motherly, having adopted Erio and Caro (though, legally, Lindy did that) and, despite her best efforts, has ended up as Vivio's 'father' (presumably because Nanoha became mother first). It's kind of hard to believe that someone so sweet is also capable of fighting such infamous combatants as Nanoha and Signum. Or that her tastes in fashion seem to be 'black, black, and more black'. - History: Umm... created by Project Fate, used to find Jewel Seeds, trial, the Book of Darkness incident, then the Jail Scaglietti Incident. I shouldn't have to be telling you people this.
- Device: Bardiche, which is—completely unsurprisingly—a bardiche in its default form. It's black. It also seems to see a lot of use as, variously, a scythe, two swords, and an absolutely massive sword that's nightmarish. The blades are all made of magic, though, so they're non-fatal. Oh, and it's equipped with a cartridge system.
- Barrier Jacket: See the left.
◊ There's also the Shin Sonic form, which is... well, fast. It doesn't have the cape or the coat (Fate's basically in a leotard with lots of buckles and such by that point) and can only take one hit but the magic and strength boosts...*
- Magic Style:
- Mid-Childan Style Magic
- Role: Front-line Combat
- Mana Affinity for Lightning
- Flight Capable
- Magic Colour: Bright Yellow.
- OC or Canon: Canon
- Other Stuff: Artificial Mage. Also, she's an Enforcer.
I personally don't think I could do any of the canon characters justice, to be honest. Well, aside from one, but still... And I know I'd screw up on the sign-up anyways since it's been a while since I last saw the series.
...Besides, I kinda like making new characters. It gives you a nice, fresh, blank slate to work with, for one thing, and you don't have to worry as much about playing them out of character, ahah. >.>
•Name: Nanoha Takamchi
•Gender: Female
•Age: 25
•World of Origin: Earth
•Appearance: The White Devil
◊
•Personality: Nanoha is pretty much an understanding girl. She'll always try to converse, even with the enemy. Trying to understand their motivations behind exactly why there doing it is they're doing, maybe even get them to join the other side. She also still holds her child-like naivitay even after growing up. She has matured, even though she can be a bit dense at times.
•History: Nanoha, when she was but a small elementary school student, stumbled across a small ferret by the name of Yuno. Yuno asked the girl to gather the Jewel Seeds, a magical dimensional artifact known only as a Lost Logia. Nanoha accepted the weasels plight and fought to find them for her new friends. She ran into another girl by the name of Fate Testarossa, with the same goal as her. To find the Jewel Seeds. Nanoha and Fate fought repeatedly, only for Nanoha to come out as the victor in the end. The TSAB finally gets involved and it turns out that Fate's mother is behind everything. The matter is resolved with Fate's mother being lost forever with her real daughter. Months pass and then the Book or Darkness incident occured where Nanoha met Hayate, Vita, Signum, Zafira, and Shamal.
And after even MORE time passed, they all joined the TSAB where they all work and live now.
•Device: The famous Raising Heart. It has a lot of modifications, more specifically its different modes and the cartridge system. A diverse weapon indeed.
•Barrier Jacket:See the character pic at the top.
◊ The barrier jacket is white and changes slightly depending on which mode Nanoha is using at the time. It also does its job of protecting the girl using its barrier generators on each shoulder.
•Magic Style: Mid-Childan Style Magic Role: Front-line Combat Affinity: Destructive Magic/Binding Magic Flight Capable Magic Color: Pink

- Height: 5'11"
- Eye Color: Brown
- Hair Style: Short, spiky brown hair
- Weight: 178lbs
- Body Type: Slim with a slight muscular build
- Facial Features: Scars on his cheeks and forehead. An impale scar on his back and just below his stomach. Scabs on his back due to recent injuries.
- Special Features: A symbol on the back of his left hand. Looks similar to a compass with all directions showing.
•Personality: Aluris can be considered unstable at times due to his inability to deal with the large trauma of losing his friends. He blames himself constantly, even getting to the point of crying himself to sleep at night. If left alone, he'll lose his mind completely.
Aluris was originally a confident, caring individual that wouldn't hesitate to help someone. Presently he keeps to himself, not wanting to burden others with his problems. He's obsessed with revenge on the monster that took everything away from him. He'll show his anger, verbally and physically. He's now obsessed with getting stronger, wanting to save his own world and maybe, if his friends are still alive, save them too.
•History: Aluris is from a world not under the juristiction of the TSAB. A world known as Yur. He and his friends journeyed far and wide, trying to form a peace between the people of EDEN and the people of Yur. It didn't go as intended and they ended up fighting a powerful weapon. Something known as the Emperor Dragon of the Eternal Night. A mechanical machination that no man could ever dream of. Aluris fought and lost, along with his friends. The sword that he used had lost all of its power and the kid was thrown out of his own homeworld. He lost his lover, he lost his best friend, he's lost everything. Aluris was thrown to a world under TSAB juristiction, Mid-Childa. He now wanders the planet now, searching for a way home.

•Magic Style: (Originally Yur Style, incapable of using that now) None.
•OC or Canon: OC
•Other Stuff: Foreigner and a drifter

Well, seeing what Force did to prior Nanoha canon and attitudes, Anno and I got to thinking... what about if we redid things as a roleplay? Now, this leads to a change in motivations and origin of the Huckebein as well as a lack of Touma. Still, given general opinions about that...
So, if you're not averse to changes such as this, here's the sign-up sheet:
As can be seen from the above form, OC's are permissible. However, do try and give them a developed backstory, especially if there is any involvement with previous incidents.
Maximum of two characters each, but only one can be an OC* or major canon character. Vivio, given her age, counts as minor in this case.
