Well, as far as baseless speculation goes, I am going to speculate as much as i can.
AAAAAWWWWWW Ww, YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAH~
It adds a sense of realism, though I grant that it might be an Acceptable Break from Reality to have cars which can drive forever.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryWhen I play GTA, the time period in which the cars my PC drives are still capable of moving fits exceedingly well within the time limit of a full gas tank running out, Video Game Time aside.

"Just to make super clear, that 'journalist' with the GTA insider 'info' sure as shit doesn't work for either of Future's Play Station mags."
We can confirm that any supposed leak has not come from Imagine Publishing's Play Station magazine, Play.
Just so everyone sees this. It doesn't mean it's automatically false info, but I'm doubtful.
"Weird doors open. People fall into things."Nico? Did we play the same game?
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?![]()
I have no idea if that wat was directed at me, but I'll try to elaborate on the off chance it was. I understand that Niko was to some degree shellshocked, but he was just (as I remember, I haven't played the game in years) a horrible human being. I think that part of it was the tonal shift. In 3 and Vice City, you were doing these terrible things, but the setting was so ridiculous that it was easy to dissociate. They then 'gritty-fied' 4 and everything just became too dark. Obviously YMMV, but for me it was Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy. Maybe the route that they're taking the games means that they're just not my thing anymore, but if they made the main character slightly less psychopathic (and by extension more relatable) in V I suspect I'd love it.

Oh, he's not, but Vice City had a element of ridiculousness running through it that made me care less. I think that it was the tonal shift on top of a protagonist I considered unlikable that was the problem to me rather than just the protagonist himself. And yeah, I saw what they were trying to do with IV thematically, I just didn't like it. Then again, most people did, and it made them a lot of money, so I'll accept that pleasing me probably isn't their main aim.
well he's a video game character, so mass murder is par for the course. Niko was probably the nicest GTA protagonist, with John Marston being the most sympathetic.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?boo. :<
Oh well, I was entertained for a while.

V doesn't have to have Saints Row level of silliness, it just has to get back to III's level of silliness.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.
