I'm not so excited. I was excited for Grand Theft Auto IV and got burned. Saints Row is what Grand Theft Auto III was, to me, and was a lot more fun and light.
We'll see with the trailer.
Jonah FalconThe logo makes me think that the game will star Jimmy Hopkins. And that would be awesome.
I actually loved GTA 4 and grew to hate Saints Row. everything just felt better, like it was better balanced. Y Ou didn't have police cars that suddenly drove slower just because you were the one driving it.
Very big Daydream Believer. "That's not knowledge, that's a crapshoot!" -Al Murray "Welcome to QI" -Stephen FryI - if not outright hated, disliked GTA IV. The internet humour was fun and all, but seriously, it added nothing to the game. What was up with the lack of safehouses and garages too? So you don't actually buy anything, but get safehouses for free. Real smooth. What is the point of even trying to earn that much money when you can't spend it on property with huge garages for cars? VC and SA were much better in that regard.
Present day. Present time. Hahahaha! It's strange how a numbered sequel is coming out so soon, though. I thought that Rockstar meant to save up the numbered sequels for each console gen, at least since the sixth one.
So unless Rockstar have been trusted with either Microsoft or Sony with dropping the megaton announcement of their new consoles coming out next year...
Oh, and by the way, GTA games are traditionally released in the last few days of October.

I hate this announcing announcements thing game companies are doing these days.
Things I hope they fixed:
slightly touching a car moving at 2KM makes you fall over
being able to run and shoot without holding down A.
Bring back the gun menu from Red dead. That was useful.
Cheats accessed through phone was a bad idea.
Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?![]()

We're in a long generation.
Did Rockstar say GTASA/IV were the last games? Why even say that?
Anyway, although the sarcastic jokes I've seen around about the shocking announcement that they're making GTA 5 are so stupid. The point is that a trailer is coming soon.
DumboI enjoyed 4 to some degree, though there were a lot of things they did in 4 that I thought were outright dumb. I honestly enjoyed both GTA 4 and SR 2.
Looking forward to seeing what V will hold.
I find it hilarious that as has been pointed out
this announcement comes on the three year anniversary of Jack Thompson's disbarment.
...
I find this a completely acceptable reason to announce an announcement.

That's LC.
Actual LA or a fictional city named LA?
