...dude, an N7?
Idunno, I'm kind of skeptical about N7s since they are special operations and there would be very little motivation/possibility for one to leave the Alliance with their stuff...
I mean, a regular Vanguard is cool, nevar enuff Charge+Nova, but the N7 classes from Earth are overpowered as fuck and the Paladin is only available to Spectres since it isn't the Reaper War yet (presumed; the only place you can get one is the Spectre Requisition terminal).
Not a GM, but saying you pro'lly won't see a lot of luck with this'un.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."
I added a little to backstory, she never even made N1 (and prolly wouldn't, she has no leadership skills), just stole the equipment. In fact, that was her prime motivation.
The class I wanted is just called N7 tbh. She was never planned to be an actual N7. As for the Paladins, I can change them to whatever, likely Carnifexes if the fluff prevents me from using them.

It's kind of thrilling when Inspector Tequila dives sideways in slow motion, shooting dual pistols while doves fly out of his arse.Aren't we just sticking to ME 1/2 classes, skills, and weapons? And the personal power should be explained in the first post, but if not look at some signups. I'd talk more, but I'm hammering this out in a free minute.
Jag (GM) should be around tomorrow to give official word. Actually, I think we need a new thread since IP is gone and Jag can't update the first post

Well politician
. If you are, I'm gonna have to go for a total remake combat-wise, since I'm very sold on this whole sword-and-dual-pistols thing.
Also, RE: Paladin, although it seems I won't be using them anyway,

Hey, I'm back. With the revisions, I think the character looks good, although I'm not familiar with the N7 classes because I haven't played with the new DLC yet. One thing, though. Could you add a paragraph/couple sentences describing your character's personality?
Personal powers are unique abilities that characters unlock after completing loyalty missions, like in ME 2. For example, my quarian sentinel can biotically Lift whatever random crap is in the area and use it to make a swirling barrier. Just come up with some kind of cool power that you want your character to have some time in the future.
Also, a personal request: Can Trinity focus more on the sword-and-pistol style than the double-pistols style? Because my other character is also a vanguard who dual-wields pistols, and I don't want the two of them to be stepping on each other's toes thematically. You don't have to, but it would be appreciated.
Oh, THAT'S why they're > everything else. I did notice that the Devastator was like a Turian Soldier with added awesome.
But something like the Slayer or Shadow for Platinum? I don't see that happening.
It's kind of thrilling when Inspector Tequila dives sideways in slow motion, shooting dual pistols while doves fly out of his arse.- Name: Karak
- Race: Vorcha
- Age: 6
- Class: Sentinel
- Class Powers: Bloodlust, Biotic Slash, Electric Slash, Biotic Charge
- Armament: M-5 Phalanx, M-23 Katana, Omni-blade Claws (Through which his slashing powers are channeled)
- Appearance: His skin has a very blue hue to it as compared to most Vorcha, and his movement is distinctly fluid in nature, doing very little repositioning or adjustment as opposed to working off of where he is. He is also distinctly smaller than most Vorcha, although he tends to be faster than expected.
- Backstory: Being smaller than most in a vorcha society forced Karak to be both sneakier and smarter in order to survive. He ended up relying on tech that he stole and modified, as well as his natural biotic talents to always stay on the edges until he was able to get off his birth planet, where he began surviviing on the edges, trying to avoid notice whilst carving out a niche for himself.
- Personal Power: Ballistic Blades, except that instead of being its own power, it's an upgrade for his Slash powers, to give them medium-range functions.
- Miscellaneous: The result of trying to make a martial artist-esque character that would work in the Mass Effect world. Thank you Earth DLC for actually giving me the tools.

APPROVED! Welcome to the RP! Our other new character, Trinity, is currently applying for her new position aboard the group's ship, the Hammurabi. I think Karak can follow suit if you wish. Oh, and the captain is currently drunk off of diluted ryncol.
Within common sense, Stannum, just as a reminder. Your character is a Vanguard; she doesn't need Tactical Cloak, she's already a close-quarters powerhouse. However, it would make sense for people like Vanguards and Soldiers to at least know how to use basic tech attacks like Overload, or Sentinels and Infiltrators to know how to fire Concussive Shots.

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."...That does make sense because of the N7 Shadow, but why not play the Shadow, then?
Alternatively; have Tactical Cloak unlocked as the loyalty mission power.
So yeah. It does sorta make sense, I'm just a bit wary about giving someone with as much close-quarters death-dealing ability as a Vanguard the ability to turn invisible.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Our characters already trample over everyone they encounter, Sparty, so it's not like she'd be "cheating", but it would allow for some great hijinks on the ship.
Plus, all the characters who have it so far just seem to write "X activated his cloak" instead of writing "X jumped behind a conveniently placed barrel".
Then again, Jag gets final say, so he could come in here and start a-slappin' me in the face.

Yet another good point. Just keeping a bit wary for OPness. Don't mind me much.
But if we can have a Kasumi expy for sneaking around the ship/cloaked shenanigans of various types, then you know what, I take back what I said, have Tactical Cloak.

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Actually, that's a fair idea, I already got enough chance for hijinks with biotic teleportation through walls as is, as long as it just means I have to put slme thought into my escape plan. Kinda like actually playing the Slayer then.
Besides, the two confirmed assassins I can remember off the top of my head in ME (Thane Krios/Kai Leng) don't use cloaks. Come to think of it, having to actually hide might be more good than bad.
You ninjas you.

Yeah, the general rules are that soldiers have weapon and armor powers, engineers have tech powers, adepts have biotic powers, infiltrators have weapon, armor, and tech, sentinels have tech and biotics, and vanguards have biotics, weapons, and armor powers. Within those guidelines, though, anything is allowed.
