I be trying for a possible redeeming villain now, unless somehow he can be accepted as a hero (but questionable)-type merc.
- Name: John Ozawa Chua
- Age: 24
- Appearance: 5'5 in height, with typical East Asian looks including black hair. Has bobcut-type hair with a mole near the corner of his left lip. His nose and mouth are covered with a balaclava worn over his neck.
- Capabilities: Able to speak English (due to school), Japanese (due to his Japanese mother), Mandarin Chinese and Tagalog (due to his Chinese-Filipino father). He's also capable of using any small arms that he can get his hands own while he was also trained in unarmed combat, vehicle driving, land navigation and guerrilla tactics when he was trained his his ex-British Army mentor turned mercenary.
- Equipment: His standard gear consists of a Japanese Type 44 carbine
, while his sidearm is a Shanxi Type 17 pistol
with a Fairbarn-Sykes knife and sheath. For a submachine gun, he's armed with the M1928 due to ammo commonality with the Type 17. For sniping needs, he's armed with the Type 97 sniper rifle
. John wears a KMT officer's uniform
with no insignia of any kind, taken from an officer who ditched the clothes after being forced to escape Shanghai. His ammo pouches, holster, cap and other clothing articles are taken from "various" sources.
- Personality: He's the nice guy you can approach. But when it comes to objectives that needs to be accomplished even if questionable methods have to be used, John'll do it with no questions asked. The latter comes from his experiences with the Japanese when he was living in Shanghai.
- History: Born to a Chinese-Filipino father and a Japanese mother in Shanghai, John had it all. His father was a well-known businessman who had a lot of businesses in the foreign concessions, who was also loved by the native Chinese and the foreigners for his manners in doing business while helping those who are in need. His mother was the daughter of an upper-class family who had objected to her marriage as they were among the supporter of Japan's plans to "free" Asia from the West. John's hatred of the Japanese had started when the Marco Polo Bridge incident was reported in the city, coupled with nearly being killed when the Japanese attacked Shanghai in August 1937. His parents were killed during the Imperial Japanese military's invasion of Shanghai. But thanks to some missionaries, John was able to escape. A friend of his father, who also helped John escape from China as he was not a native, decided to help John by bringing him along as the man had been a wanderer as a mercenary for some time. The young man asked him if he can teach him how to kill.

@Ani: In my experience, R Ps slow down a lot after a coupla weeks. Managing large amounts of players is easier than you might think.
If you accept 10-12, odds are only 5-7 will remain consistently active. It's far from a headache, believe me.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.

If you are still accepting characters:
- Name: Luke Maris
- Age: 25
- Appearance: Tall and muscular. Luke has brown eyes and dark hair. He is tanned in appearance, and has several faded scars on his face and arms. He is usually wearing a black short-sleeved shirt and jeans.
- Capabilities: He was a scout in His Majesty’s regiment. As such, he is comfortable in any environment you can throw at him. He is also a decent tracker. He is quite skilled with a revolver and with his fists.
- Equipment: A Webley MK.IV service revolver, and a pocket knife.
- Personality: Luke is a bit silent and serious. He is not used to being around people, and as such is a bit suspicious. Despite this, he can be a bit of a womanizer. He has a quick temper, and is not above settling an argument with his fists. He’s slightly disdainful of those he considers “the idle rich” due to him feeling that they haven’t earned their wealth.
- History: Luke grew up in Calgary, Canada. His father was a worker on the oil rigs. At the age of 18, he joined the Royal Canadian Army. He was trained as a scout and was sent along with his unit to handle an incident in Bolivia (which officially never happened and he is reluctant to talk about). After his service, he decided to see the world and become a treasure hunter. He was in Ceylon looking for an artifact called the “Eye of Rama” when he was tracked down by Rohmer’s men. He was promised a good payday for this little adventure, so he eagerly accepted.

That...is probably the most epic thing I've seen all week. Accepted, just because I want to see where this will lead.
Need a tall, brawny fella to come by and inspect your pickle? Perhaps I may be this fella.
