Harry had been traveling along the road alongside his trusted Growlithe. He had encountered several bug pokemon among these trees, but he never planned to capture any of them. No, they instead became simple toasting fodder for Growlithe. He was hoping to see any other trainers coming along, preferably a grunt from Team Anarchy he could wipe the floor with.
As luck would have it, Harry managed to hear someone coming by the road. He dove into the bushes to make perform surveillance and figure out if the person was dangerous. He managed to catch a glimpse of the trainer from among the branches.
"He doesn't look that much of a threat" Harry whispered to Growlithe, who nodded in agreement, understanding his master's words perfectly. The Trainer looked like a piece of cake to take on. After all, he may have had two pokemon, but neither looked particularly vicious. Hell, one of them was asleep! After Harry gave Growlithe the signal, both dove out of the bushes to surprise the unsuspecting trainer.
"You there! I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle!"
A girl wearing formal conductor with brown hair arrived on the scene, ribbons in her hair. Lyra walked by seeing two trainers ready for a fight. "Mind if I watch? I want to see how this plays out." she said.
Aria perched on her shoulder chirping in excitement. She started singing out of the blue.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Aria responded with a sharp indigant cry. She pecked the pooch sharply as possible.
"Sure." she said. "If you want to be defeated with style!"
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Aria was burned with her cotton swab wings and was forced onto the ground.
"Sorry about Aria." Lyra said. "Her temper always gets the better of her."
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Aria recovered and flew unto Lyra's shoulder.
"Calm down you simpleton. It was merely a corrective peck. It can't have hurt your pooch that much." she said bitterly.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing."Aria could win. But I thought we were saving our battle for later. And I have no idea who this Team Anarchy is you're talking about."
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing."I'm from off region." she said. "But are those the terrorists that are plaging this region? I suppose that's why you're so uptight. Shame that I picked now to start my co-ordinator career." she said.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing."Co-ordinator?" Harry asked. "Well, I guess that explains the weird-ass costume." Before he could explain what they were, Harry saw two Team Anarchy Grunts patrolling the road. "Oh Crap! Quick, get out of the way!"
Harry grabbed Lyra by the arm and pulled her behind the bushes so that they could hide.
Lyra knew that this wasn't the time to argue and ducked with her Swablu into the bushes. She whispered, " Are those the ruffians you were speaking of?
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing." Good point."-" she said still clearly offended. She watched the criminals from the safety of her bush trying to ignore the dislike of the boy standing beside her.

The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Harry waited in the bushes with Lyra in silence, allowing the Team Anarchy members to pass by. Once they were far out of the range of the trainers, Harry stood up from the bushes.
"That was close one, you should really be thanking me."
Harry looked and could see that Lyra had clearly taken offence to his earlier statement. Feeling a little bad, Harry outstretched his arm to help Lyra up.
Lyra graciously accepted his hand. "If you really do not wish to touch me I could offer you a pair of gloves." she said part bitterly part sincerely.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing."I do know that." she said. "I stick out like a sore thumb and I'm not a fast thinker." she said. "So I have to thank you for your actions." she said entirely sinecerely.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing."I do." Lyra said. "How about 100,000 Poke per week?" she said.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.

Team Anarchy Headquarters.
The interior of the base abuzz with activity, members of all ranks talking amongst each other and looking up at maps, and television screens depicting various locations, with various people. Anarchy had long since set up secret surveillance cameras all over every region it seemed. Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer and all that good stuff.
The leader, Melmoth, sat in his chair as his eyes scanned the screens before him. Cerulean City. Pewter City. Mistralton City. Driftveil City. Changing every few seconds to a new location.
His thought process was interrupted by the sound of feet connecting with the metal floor, and the panting the owners of said feet were making. A grunt, his attire in tatters and bleeding from quite a few wounds made his way to his leader.
"Commander Melmoth." he panted as he salute his leader, taking everything in his power to not collapse then and there. "News from the front lines."
Melmoth did not respond. The child did not deserve an answer from him if he was still here.
"All was going according to plan, Commander, but I'm afraid we reached an impasse." he panted. "Lance and Cynthia...they seemed to come out of no where and ambushed us. We never stood a chance. Everyone else...lost in the battle."
Well, at the least THAT was an interesting little development. Lance and Cynthia, it seemed, were growing a bit more...hostile.
"Tell me, son." Melmoth spoke up finally. "When you said everyone was...lost, as you so delicately put it, I couldn't help but notice...you're here."
"Yes, sir." he panted. "I got away barely to relay this message."
He turned in his chair and stared at the boy, a dull expression on his face. "That means, in the heat of battle, you ran like a coward."
"...Commander, I...I wouldn't say it was cowardice...losing more men wouldn't have proven anything."
"To run from the battle shows you were not only a coward." He rose to his feet, showing his imposing height to the boy, who winced and backed away a little bit. "But weakness in battle, if you could not hope to beat even the Dragon Masters."
"Commander!" Exclaimed the boy, desperately. "None of us stood a chance! We were surrounded, they're champions, we're mere grunts! We couldn't hope to-"
"That is no excuse. You will meet the rest of your men in the afterlife, where you belong. Shira, now."
"Co-" He never finished his sentence. The sound of a figure landing behind him, a delicate, feminine hand clamping over his mouth to silence his whimpering screams, and the sound of a blade entering soft flesh. The boys eyes widened and he struggled for a moment, but his noises silenced, and his body fell limp. The figure, "Shira", dropped the body where it stood, a pool of blood leaking from his form.
Melmoth watched with a bored expression, before he grabbed two of his Pokeballs. Opening them up, two immense Pokemon came out, a quadrupedal blue and red dragon, a Salamence, and a thee headed winged dragon, a Hydreigon.
"Salamence, Hydreigon." he said to his Pokemon. "Dinner time."
Both of the dragons approached the body...
...
Dear Mom and Dad,
I figured now would be good a time as any to start writing my letters home to you, since I don't want to have to waste money on those annoying phones we have to deal with. Nothing of any excitement has happened so far, but I have gotten to know my two new partners so far.
He looked up for a brief moment to see a red creature laying on a branch on the tree he leaned on. His eyes were closed, his arms behind his head and his tail fire not lighting the tree on fire, thankfully. He was snoring softly.
Chimchar is one of the laziest Pokemon I've ever met. The three days I've been on my journey, he's been sleeping for two. The only time he hasn't been asleep if when we've eaten. Still, he's a good companion and I can sense a lot of potential in him. It's getting him to show it that's the tricky part. The exact opposite could be said about the other Pokemon...
He looked out of the corner of his eye to see a small blue and figure figure, staring at an entirely different tree. His eyes were narrowed, inspecting the deep cuts etched into the wood of the tree. In his other hand was a shell, glowing bright blue.
Oshawott is the most battle hungry Pokemon I've seen. He's been training every time we take a rest and he barely eats or even sleeps. It can't be healthy, that's for sure. Ha, I guess it goes to show when I pick a Pokemon. One never wakes up and one never rests. Goes to show what kind of Adventure I have to look forward to.
I haven't encountered any Team Anarchy members, or even other Pokemon trainers. It's been weird, but silent and quiet in a good way. I'm hoping to catch a few new Pokemon before the day is over. I digress though, I should get going before I'm attacked by someone. I probably jinxed myself just saying that. I hope this reaches you soon, in the claws of the flying type I end up catchy.
I love you both, and I'll write to you soon at any new developments.
Love, Alexander.
So, he clicked his pen shut and stood up, stretching and hearing the familiar crack in his back. "Come on guys." he said to his Pokemon. Oshawott gave his trainer a quick nod and sheathed his shell blade, while Chimchar leaps down onto his shoulder and...fell asleep once again. He rolled his eyes and traveled down the road, hoping for something, anything to happen.
Oh, how words can bite you in the ass.
