Season two of CG He-Man is now on Netflix.
Also, He-Man.org discovered a few job listings for Powerhouse Animation are up
, apparently the listings are for something MOTU related, but whether it's more from the Revelation series is not known.
I don't know why Evil-Lyn kept complaining about a war with Avion when Stratos's presence indicates they were already involved. Bad Boss though he may be, Skeletor was kind of right to fire her.
Finished the Season just this morning.
Not sure how to parse Krass becoming a Dark Master, even if I like how they made it so that, figuratively and literally (to the point of Krass blatantly stating it herself), Krass didn't have a nemesis due to being Her Own Worst Enemy.

I find it amusing that Kronis took over Tri-Klops' role as inventor.
But ended up being Tri-Klops' inventor in this continuity. XD
This season was definitely... something. I didn't hate it but it had a fair number of issues and I didn't love Stratos or the way they took Krass's character.
Plus I felt like Skeletor underwent some Badass Decay, but that might just be me.
Finished watching it
It doesn't really get going until the final two episodes. A lot of it is padded out filler, which is startling considering how high the stakes are risen in the final acts. The series actually ties up all it's loose ends in episode seven and episode eight sets up an entirely new wave of toys...erm...I mean status quo.
So much for 'shipping Adam and Krass. Both consider one another siblings. The thing is, outside of the tiniest little spat, there's not much interaction or deeper bonding between Adam and Teela either.
So yeah, not quite matching the highs of season one, but still a fun way to spend the day and those final two episodes are truly something.
Just watched season 2,
I did enjoy it, and ending with Krass becoming Rampage was something I didn't see coming. Looking forward to season 3!
I assure you, I'm perfectly trustable personWatched the whole second season. Honestly, liked it more than the first one. Probably because we were done with the origin story and could get to more varied adventures. It felt a bit more comedic but I didn't mind for the most part. However, it did feel rushed in numerous plot points - Adam/Teela conflict for example. It basically has no payoff. I feel like action scenes improved mostly because they relied less on stock footage attacks but overall they were pretty good.
I liked the new characters. They really managed to nail the complicated character of Man-E-Faces and while I was with everyone else decrying that Stratos just looks like Falcon, I really warmed up to him. Side note, funny how the first two episodes introduce classic He-Man allies...and both of them at first want heroes dead.
Some other characters could use some more time, especially Webstor - we barely know anything about him - and Tri-Klops. I wasn't too keen to learn he was a drone but then he showed he can possess people to make them look like a proper Tri-Klops and later showed some personality so that's better... too bad he was barely in the show. All he did was kidnap Randor and honestly, that had zero impact on the plot. Just pushed conflict between Teela and Adam that went nowhere and kept Randor from being the third wheel in the Orko-Manny team-up.
Mo'squita-ra (really, that's how it's spelled?) was pretty cool even if she didn't get that much time but Gary...yeah, I would prefer less Gary. So many underused characters and that weirdo get a whole episode! He and the whole deal with heroes struggling to keep pieces of Sigil from connecting was the only time I was really bothered by comedy.
Kinda weird how three episodes in a row had basically truce moments between heroes and villains (4th one really gave me The Witch and the Warrior flashbacks). The third and fifth episodes in particular felt like something from Wander Over Yonder.
I guess someone really wanted to do Skeletor/Duncan episode because it didn't feel like much important stuff happened in it but hey, I liked it. If you have to do a whole episode about my least favorite Master, partnering him with Skeletor is the way. Actually, Duncan was way more tolerable in this season. Guess having good foils like Skeletor and Strator helps.
I wasn't surprised that Evelyn left, I was just surprised how it happened. Was it genuine incompetency? Was she deliberately giving him bad counsel? It was odd. Shame to see her Evil-Lyn form go so quickly but then again I really liked her default look anyway....and also, it looked like she wasn't weaker at all. She could still fly, teleport, fight Teela/Sorceress, does she even needs the power of Havok?
A little disappointed Krass' dad doesn't look more like Ram Man.
I remember that early one I assumed that Tri-Klops will be Ram Ma'am's nemesis (deadly hats enemies?) and Mosquitara will be Stratos'. Things did not end up that simple. The closest thing to nemesis we got was Tri-Klops/Orko (floating robots).
Surprised Rampage didn't get a more elaborate redesign. Maybe there are toy-related reasons? Like to make her toy cheaper to make? Or the opposite, Mattel wasn't interested cartoon didn't bother with wasting cash on new model.
One thing I'm most curious about next season is what will happen will all the bad guys. Will Skeletor get a physical form? Looks like his ex-servants will still be around, are we really done with their Master forms? Will Tri-Klops get a more permanent host?

You might want to fix that last spoiler.
Also, just realised puns with Krass: Ram Stone, Ram Ma'am and Rampage.
I assure you, I'm perfectly trustable personI feel like Season 3 will probably involve an Enemy Mine between the former Dark Masters and the Masters to defeat Skeletor once and for all.
Granted, there are basically only six episodes left, and that isn't really enough time to introduce new Dark Masters, so maybe we'll see the original Dark Master lineup one last time.
Take with some grain of salt, but apparently Revelation
is coming back, with the cast returning to the voice booths in two weeks

New clip.
