I wonder if we'll see any of the characters who never were able to show up in the Filmation or the 2002 cartoon. Maybe we can finally find out what exactly Scare Glow was (he was billed on the card art as the ghost of Skeletor).
Doesn't mean it wasn't revealed to us as the audience.
Yes, but the mind wipe removed any dramatic fallout from that revealation, the point is not just to a have a plot twist for audience, to have actual dramatic fallout that changes character dynamics, the mind wipe negates the dramatic fallout, which is why you need to address this point in this series, IMO.
Really mind wipes were a rather lazy 80s plot cliche to maintain the status quo that seems creepy now. Superman did it to Lois Lane in Superman II and it ruins the film a bit and makes Superman look creepy.
Many of the voice actors such as Mark Hamill, Lena Headey, Stephen Root, and Chris Wood (just to name a few) have finished recording their dialogue.
Alright, now it’s just a matter of seeing animation, although Kevin Smith, last major update, was still approving animatics for episodes.
They’re apparently all set to go whole hog on a new He-Man merchandising blitz.
Just wondering, could they use Hordak or the evil Horde characters here? Obviously they'd be modeled after the original characters, not the She-Ra reboot characters.
Day 2 of Power Con announced a comic book prequel to MOTU Revelation, but no set date for the series just yet or completed images. Still, it’s clear Mattel is going whole hog on this show.
My guess is they can use She-Ra; I've seen a few concepts that were never used. They just can't stop Dreamworks (which holds the residual rights from Filmation) from making new episodes.
So Mattel is not wasting any time with the merchandise blitz.
Mattel actually released a She-Ra figure for Powercon, of Classic She Ra.
Apparently on the latest episode of his podcast, Smith has promised news about Revelation this week. Time will tell if that is accurate, but he’s also said that the first episode is completely done.
The announcement was the composer for the show, Bear Mc Creary, and the first audio of Christopher Wood as He-Man.
We get to hear the Transformation Sequence music, and you can tell the tone they want to set from it.

You know, it's kinda heartwarming and encouraging to see just how enthused he seems to be for the whole thing. ^_^
My Games & WritingIt sounds more in line with the scores in the 2002 series, wish it had more thematic callbacks to the old score, but maybe there's rights issues with that. Sounds banging though, I loved it when Kevin brought out his handy product placement and enacted a fight scene.
The Filmation assets are owned by Universal, so Mattel can’t use them. They need to make it from scratch.
No word on Revelation visuals, but we have our first look at the reboot's toys◊.
Major Green Lantern: The Animated Series vibes.

Looks like a combination between a Trollhunters design and the 2003 series.
I see he skipped leg day, though
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).And more news! The first ''Masterverse'' toys, the collector's line designed to resemble ''Revelations'' is here. Notable is Lyn (the former Evil-Lyn) letting her hair flow and Skeletor with clawed feet.
He-Man's chest too covered up, 0/10.
So, there are two He-Man cartoons coming up, but what do we know about each? Like, I know there's a traditionally animated one that I think is going to be the darker of the two, and there's a CGI one, but other than that I'm not sure what else we know.
I think the CGI is a fresh start while the traditional one will continue from the original Filmation cartoon?

Fair enough, I am just saying Keldor being revealed as He-Man's uncle could be a revelation that could do in this mini-series.
Except the Socresses mind wipes her at the end of that episode, I think Teela having a conversation with her mother and maybe taking over her role after the Socresses is wounded or killed by Skeletor could be interesting.
