@ Beatman1,
These alt-right culture critics are coming up with reasons to complain to create clickbait videos, I think they should be ignored if never seem to have anything positive to say about anything.
It will be interesting to see how they portray Skeletor, this show is supposed to be a continuation of the Filmation and he was pretty goofy in the old cartoon (with a few sinister moments here and there), but in this series, he is voiced by Mark Hamill and he looks pretty fearsome. While Skeletor was goofy in the Flimation cartoon, in other continuties (various comics, New Adventures of He-Man and the 2002 cartoon) he is presented as a seriously pure evil villain who often aims for a very high body count. The mini-comics that were before the Filmation cartoon, presented Skeletor as a pretty sinister villain.
Skeletor could have become bitter about his various defeats and became more ruthless years later.

Alright, He-Man looks about as what I've seen. Skeletor looks pretty cool - actually, the toy is so-so but box art is really promising. The only thing I'm not really sure about are those huge chest symbols. I guess it's no longer cool for He-Man to wear Iron Cross? Even Revelations He-Man dropped it.
So it appears like a sword that also acts as a letter "H"? I don't know, it's a little big. Split sword like that makes me think of times when Power Sword was split into two pieces, wonder if they bring that back.
There's a story behind that. Originally the show was planned to be a sequel not a reboot and plan was that Skeletor got his hands on the Power Sword.
This Is why He-Man's sword has such a different design. Idea was that it was a brand new sword, combining Man-At-Arms technology and Sorceress' magic.

He-Man looks rather unfortunately like a surfer.
Yeah, before the Prince Adam makeover, the power sword was in two halves, one held by He-Man and one by Skeletor (at least as far as the action figures went; in the comics that came with the figures, neither one of them had part of the sword, if I remember correctly, but were both looking for it). Joined together, the swords would serve as the key to Castle Grayskull.
Funny that they kept packaging Skeletor with his half of the sword, and they still made the two halves so they could be joined, even long after the original scenario was abandoned.
I recall reading a fan-theory some years ago that postulated that Adam wasn't actually He-Man, but summoned him with the power-sword, and the summoned He-Man was the same guy as from the original scenario (never did explain why all his allies should be the same, though...)

I'm kinda hoping Alan Oppenheimer or some of the surviving members of the original cast make a Remake Cameo in at least one of the two shows. Both because it'd be a fitting tribute to the very aged actors (something that most likely will not be able to done a few years from now), and because the Nu-Ra fanbase infamously treated Melendy Britt like dirt.
In fact I'd adore it if "real" She-Ra made an appearance with her "real" voice.
Britt, the original She-Ra VA voiced her displeasure at the remake and defended fans of the original series saying that prior to SPOP the MOTU community was nothing but kind and welcoming. SPOP fans harassed her off of social media.
It’s not universal, but if you look at the big He-Man hubs like Heman.org, a lot of those people hate SPOP.

I wonder if Skeletor from the Netflix series will still have funny moments, or will they make sure to make him completely serious?
I can't help but think that if they make him too serious, he will feel like a totally different character from the 80's version, even if they are supposed to share continuity.
Yeah, 2002 Skeletor
was able to alternate between being a bit on the humorous side to being a genuine threat pretty well. And Hamill has a ton of experience playing a character that can both be humorous and threatening. Now, whether Revelation Skeletor will be written this way, or some other way, I can't say. And then there's still that other He-Man show coming up, which could have him act completely different from the way he acts in Revelation.

Is there a reliable source on this alleged harassment? Because I'm finding nothing substantial on it.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).By contrast, She-Ra co-creator J. Michael Straczynski was generally on board
with nu-She-Ra's redesigns not being "idealized women" to parts of the fandom. He found that mindset to be a result of the "prepubescent children
" during the original series run imprint strict standards as they got older, which conflicted with Straczynski.
Yeah, which is funny because that was acknowledged in-universe as an accidental haircut by Miles' "stick-em powers".
Now that's wonderful news!
It's only logical they'd give him a small role rather than have him reprise Skeletor/Cringer/Man-At-Arms, considering that he's 91 and they probably want to avoid The Other Darrin just in case something unfortunate happens. That, plus doing Skeletor now is probably murder on his throat.
But just the fact that they counted with the old man displays a lot of goodwill to me, IMO.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."

Filmation's previous Flash Gordon and Blackstar bear some considerable resemblance to their work on He-Man, particularly Blackstar.
