I would say The Spirit would make a fantasic tv show, but is he even part of DC comics?

[up]Eh...Superman The Animated Series was overall a good show, though Superman's low power level in that series did irk me...A LOT.

Superman should get his own animated Team Up Series like Batman did (see DC Comics Presents).

Most people already named the top dogs I'd want (Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel and Flash), but something from the New 52 i'd like to see is Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E. where Frankenstein teams up with a team of creature commandos to fight other monsters. Tell me that wouldn't be the most badass thing ever.

Also, Icon and Rocket would be....interesting. I'd watch it if they made it. Oh, and Zatanna.

Cass Cain and Stephanie Brown. Cass does deserves it more, but including Steph would make me happy.

Oh that'd make me happy too. You could argue that Steph deserves a cartoon more due to being around longer as Spoiler. I did some research a while back and apparently Setph's only apperance outside of the comics is Lego Batman as a custom character. At least Cass!Batgirl is in DC Universe Online... as an armor vendor...

I'm hoping that, by some shred of luck, Lauren Faust uses either Cass or Steph for her Batgirl, but I have a feeling she might be a little bit more old-school and DC seems to have some unwritten law that forbids anyone but Barbra Gordon to be Batgirl in mainstream media like cartoons. Not that I don't like Babs, but its always her. She's even in Young Justice! (Though we don't know if she'll appear in costume in YT, but that's another subject)

I'm still a tad bitter that Damien got shout out in The Brave & The Bold.

they canceled that new live action Wonder Woman show that was being worked on (you know, the one where she was, God forbid, wearing pants)

You say that like it was a bad thing. Have you seen the leaked pilot? I have. Wonder Woman didn't deserve something that shitty becoming what most people think of when her name is mentioned. Cancelling that show without airing the pilot was the best decision that went into the entire pilot. Also, she did not wear pants during the show in her wonder woman costume. Coz that'd be too dignified.

On topic, I'd really dig a Blue Beetle tv series. Failing that, I'd love a good Green Lantern tv series.

[up][up] At least they have Bette, too. That is some hardcore Batgirl love right there.

...And there's a case to be made that Steph had a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo as Tim's wife in Returnofthe Joker. The woman's wearing eggplant. IT'S HER.

And...yeah. Damian. I was kinda maybe hoping for Terry.

@ playedforkeeps: Will Eisner's estate owns The Spirit. The character was just licensed to DC.

The movie version had no input from DC because of this.

I want an action show starring Blue Beetle (Jaime), Kid/Red Devil, Ravager, Miss Martian, Zachary Zatarra, Static, Batgirl (Cass) and Speedy (Mia). It will be like Young Justice, only much sillier, but not Teen Titans silly.

A traditionally animated cartoon for Blue Beetle (Jaime).
A traditionally animated cartoon for Flash.
A very light-hearted traditionally animated cartoon for the Marvel family.
A traditionally animated cartoon for superman.
A dark traditionally animated cartoon Red Hood.
A goofy traditionally animated cartoon for Plastic Man.
A dark and goofy traditionally animated cartoon centered around Lobo.

NO CGI. EVER.

Oh, yeah, and a Teen Titans crazy level something or other. Maybe Doom Patrol.

Not necessarily a comic character but you know who DC really needs to bring back?

Terry. Fracking. McGinnis

Seriously.

Aren't they doing a comic book Batman Beyond series? Then again, maybe it got wiped out by the big continuity reboot..

I'd love a Blue Devil series, if they did it in the spirit of the original comic eg. a happy-go-lucky guy who just got stuck in a devil-like costume and became a Weirdness Magnet as a result. Hey, he even became friends with The Trickster and Cain (of The Haunted House and Sandman fame). He was the original Defeat Means Friendship Idiot Hero! [lol]

But I fear the Moral Guardians will never approve a character that *just happens* to be called (and look like) a Devil.

I think Blue Devil recently made a cameo on the latest episode of Young Justice, so its not completely out of the realm of possibility.

Y'know, now that I think about it, I surely wouldn't mind other Milestone heroes getting their due.
