Well, the only lie they told was that someone dies, singular.

Same. Like, fine, but I swear he said something about it being her 'reward' and I'm like 'WTF? Zelina or Regina deserve more of a reward than Emma does right now'.
On top of that, Emma's staying at Robin's grave to say goodbye alone... when they've never really had any significant screen time... That rubbed me the wrong way. It felt like Emma making it about her again.
Robin's death was stupid. He didn't deserve such a fate and nothing this season built up to it except the fact that the actor wanted to jump ship and he had nothing to do all season.
Now we have to build up ANOTHER True Love for Regina?
Part of me is hoping that this is all some elaborate joke by the writers, and next week has Regina going evil again and killing Hook off for real. Like, they make us think that after dying forty-seven times (or however many times Hook's "died") he's practically immortal, and then just to prove that they're "hip and cool" they actually off him. Otherwise it's just so aggravating that they wasted half a season futzing around in Hades, trying to bring Hook back, and then actually dedicating time to his heroic sacrifice - only to have Zeus do his "lol get outta here" and fix everything while Robin gets zapped in a heartbeat.
And then after that we're basically down to the Season 1 cast, except either Ruby's missing, or else Ruby and Dorothy and Mulan are there now. I don't recall hearing whether or not she's going back to a recurring character next season.
Ah so Sean Maguire wanted out? I was wondering why the writers wrote him out.
Poor Regina. Though I'd love to see her have wacky mom adventures with Zelena XD There's got to be some fanfic about that...
I think it's too late for Regina to totally backslide. The beginning of season 4 already showed she'd gone passed her Evil Queen days. I think next week she's going to have a BSOD but ultimately come out of it ok.
> Season 1 cast minus Ruby
Archie would like a word with you.
They've had no problem just vanishing people into the background for years at a time before. Robin's death was still stupid. Especially since he didn't have anything to do this year. If you're looking at killing a character off, put them in the limelight more often so that it means something when they're gone.
Robin Hood has always just sort of been Regina's Shallow Love Interest.

Archie wasn't in too many episodes, though. Ruby was in practically every episode of season 1. Hell, I think she was even in more episodes than both Charming brothers combined.
Don't get me wrong though, if he was more prominent (or at least existed) in Season 6 that would be awesome in my book. That episode where he basically told Regina to go pound sand because otherwise if there's ever a custody battle he'd bury her was great. I guess it's just harder to work in those sorts of cool legal victories now that magic's everywhere and everyone is at risk of being fireballed or turned into toads.
Season Finale time.
1. Henry seems to have latched onto the Idiot Ball pretty hard. I guess it's the general stupidity of being a kid, but still.
2. LOVED Regina's speech about Karma being particularly sadistic to her. Good counter to those who think she's a Karma Houdini
3. $10 says the guy who has the gang trapped is Doctor Jekyll. Or wait...he's Hyde and and the dweeby gardener guy is Jekyll.
4. LOVE that they've confirmed that Don Quixote is real along with probably most other famous pieces of lit - Jules Verne, and again, my guess, Robert Louis Stevenson.
This is really starting to look up. I'm kinda digging the idea of getting back to lit characters. I've kinda been glutted on fairytales and Disney princesses XD

Generally the acts of good were to fix something magic had caused so he is not exactly wrong. I get the feeling that the only valid reason to stop him is because of storybroooke which rumple lied about and the rescueing of those trapped in another realm.
"Shall I use you, or make you mine... I'm not so sure what I'll do." - DorthyYeah . . . the only valid reason to stop Henry is because of the people trapped in the other verse. Honestly, everyone else in the story was a fucking numbskull and here I am thinking "The Crocodile is powerless! Shiv him while he's down you fucking morons!!!"
Or, you know, they could have tracked down Gold and used the serum on him to kill the Dark One once more.
Even if magic itself isn't that bad, Gold just needs killed or neutered.
Well, actually, if we did that, we'd have a Dark One!Gold as our villain next season instead of Evil!Regina. And that might be even more difficult to stop. Dark One!Gold would have NO reservations about killing others and might even kill Belle too.
I too don't understand why they haven't just killed Gold at this point. Also, when did it become common knowledge that he took all the powers of all the dark ones??? Its really... annoying. They have EVERY reason to kill him by now.
Though, I did kind of think it was bullshit that Rumple's magic could be destroyed so easily? Especially after how much he'd tried to rid himself of it in the past (and failed or regressed). Some acknowledgement that he could be the man Belle wants him to be would have been nice.
Though, I'll be honest, when Henry pulled the 'You have to believe in magic' thing, I thought it was bullshit. Just... awkward. And forced. Even for Henry. Especially considering how much older he's getting. I just didn't buy it and found it awkward. Actually had to skip a bit because I was feeling second-hand embarrassment from it. Really? In New York? EVERYONE is suddenly so excited to throw money into a fountain???
