I disliked the replacement voice actors in "Sonic The Hedgehog". Very few exceptions.

I'm kinda mixed about the changes for the most part. The quality is about the same as for the previous ones, but because of that it seems kinda obsolete a change outside easier use of their relocated studios. I admit I'm not big on Amy's new VA, she sounds too much like Minnie Mouse.

I remember not being big on Jim Cummings' version of Tigger as a kid, though he seems to have gotten better and puts his own life into him since then (Paul Winchell is still THE Tigger though).

April Stewart replicates most of the female characters in South Park very well, except Wendy. She sounds like a full grown woman and just doesn't have that hilarious shrillness her previous V As had.

Not big on Urpgor's season four actor in The Dreamstone either. Not awful, but he couldn't replicate the vocal tone that well.

If inter-medium Darrin's count, Frank Welker is no Jim Henson. ...Or even Steve Whitmire.

Can you believe I missed the "dis-" in this topic's title when I first read it? I think finding a surprise change in actors that didn't annoy you would be more notable anyway.

Dexter's new voice in Dexter's Laboratory was terrible.

Oh yeah... I liked Dee Dee's second voice in that show better, but then they switched back to her first voice, didn't they?

Not that the others were terrible, but Gus Wickie was my favourite Bluto voice.

Those who saw Looney Tunes Back In Action knows how I feel about the new voice of Shaggy.

Since when did Frank Welker voice Kermit?

This couldn't be helped, but Heather Hogan was NOT a good Ducky replacement. Thank goodness for Cornchip Girl taking over

Likewise all the VA's in the Land Before Time sequels except for Curzon, the narrator and Jeff Bennett were terrible. Littlefoot naturally had it the worst, the original voice was good, the second voice was a little squeaky and dull but still decent. After that the voices were too low (the 5th),too saccaharine (6th-9th),or with a lisp.

Also CharlieSheen is just no BurtReynolds either

And finally I used to hate the replacement voice for Maude Flanders but thankfully the original voice returned after some disputes.

The human voice for Robot Jones was terribly unfitting; anyone who watched the show regularly will get what I'm talking about, whether they agree or disagree...

[up] I remember Robot Jones having two voices, one that sounded more robotic- er, I guess you must be talking about the childish sounding voice? If so, yeah, I didn't care for it either. It didn't fit with how I perceived the character.

I recall Robot's mother also got a new voice done by a real person with filters (pitch shifting up and down and such), but his father kept the same old actually-computer-generated voice. And they edited old episodes to have those new voices too. It was weird.

I think the actors’ union complained about the computerized voices in Robot Jones, hence the change. I agree that the show didn’t work with the human voices, though.
