What about a character with PTSD, amnesia, pain from any physical contact firmer than a lover's caress, and selective mutism?

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.Oh, and elective mutism, too, so even when they can talk, they often choose not to, for reasons unknown to anyone but them?

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve....Too much. Maximum amount of Compensation you get is 2 main ones, no matter how much Sacrifices you try. (for balance) The 2 main ones can be used in any way you want provided it doesn't overstep boundaries.
Of course, you can be characters who already have inherent abilities like a jinni or an ogre, but those will have stronger Sacrifices on them if they want Compensation.
Good so far at balancing?
No worries. If you allow it, I'd probably keep most of it, simply because I like the idea of playing this type of character. Communication has always been a big part of my playing style, so I'm interested to see how well I do without it...
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.So... abilities to compensate... You know what, I'd like to play an elf... wait...
Crap.
Suddenly, my character is a suffer in silence version of Fenris... -facepalm- Aww, what the heck. May as well see what I can do with it...
So... Would the blue "shove-my-spectral-hand-through-your-chest" thing be permissable? I always loved that one...
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.Of course! I'm not going to go around shoving my hand through people every time we end up in a fight! That would be ridiculous!
"A troll-"
"I shove my hand through its chest and crush its heart."
"It dies"
—
"A Dragon-"
"I shove my hand through its face and snap its brain stem."
"...It dies..."
—
"The tavern woman refuses to sleep with you."
"I shove my hand through her chest."
"Okay, now you're just being ridiculous!"
—
That would be great in a web comic...
Anyway, I'll be sure to use it sparingly (and reasonably). I hate people who spam the same move over and over and over. I mean, if they've found an awesom combination and worked hard to level it up, that's fine, but Complacent Gaming Syndrome is no fun for anyone.

It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.Types of Sacrifices:
Ritual-One time use, grants user power to use Compensation without a price later on. Initial price is medium. Skills are weaker than Token.
Token-Use every time you want Compensation. Fulfill a certain condition, like eating a certain type of food before hand. Price is low.
Offering-Use every time you want Compensation. High price, high leveled skill. Not recommended unless your character wants to be messed up from the start. *.*
