Superhot, Half-life Alyx, Beatsaber, and that's about it of games that made me think "wow, this really shows what VR can be."
But I'll take any Digimon game at this point. Keep hoping on good news about Survive.
Yeah, I'm kinda surprised they decided to sell an entirely new smartwatch instead of simply making it a phone app.

But in another Digimon game, a new form of Gaioumon has been announced in the latest DigiNavi video in Youtube.

It's called as "Gaioumon Ittou no Kata", essentially a Gaioumon that went through rigorous training and switches to one big sword instead of two katanas.
This form will debut in Digimon ReArise game.

Survive has been officially rated by the Australian Classifications rating board; probable indication Bamco is feeling confident enough in the game's current state if they're gonna start presenting it to rating organizations.

The games generally stand on their own, so it doesn't really matter, but Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition is two games for the price of one, and mostly very well balanced.

Finally, I don't know why the hell it took them so long to make this announcement. It's obvious since months ago that the game is going to be delayed again, since we were promised news in Spring but nothing even after Summer has passed.

Something that's been glossed over in English press releases is that the team effectively had to get through a ton of new work when they swapped engines last year for undisclosed reasons.
Still the game's slooooooowly getting rated overseas (since the Australia update, it got rated in Brazil and Korea) so I don't doubt it coming out eventually.
Hopefully we'll soon see footages/screenshots of the game under the new engine.
I wonder if there will be a big visual change or not.

Finally after so long....
It being described as a visual novel with strategy elements is very telling for what the devs intend for Survive now.
This is going to be so much fun.
Looks like I'm gonna skip Survive or at least get it on discount. Not really a huge VN fan.

Its also a Strategy RPG. The VN component is the cutscenes.
I've beaten every superboss in Cyber Sleuth and most of them in Hacker's Memory. My stumbling block is that VenomMyotismon in Hacker's Memory. Any tips?

The summary made it sound like the VN aspect is the main focus while the battles are a side thing.
So bandai will make a smartwatch V-Pet, but refuse to make an smartphone v-pet or virtual reality game... It's like they hate money.
