Now that I've read the interview, I do like the idea of diverging evolutions, since there's definitely going to be a Skullgreymon in the mix if they're leaning this hard on the Adventure influence.
Also hiring the I am Setsuna composer was a really good choice because the soundtrack was easily the standout bit, it'll make a nice contrast to Takada's electronica and Toshiyuki's jazz.
Reading the Cyber Sleuth interview linked at the bottom, interesting to see that Mastemon was planned as early as 2012 for Re:Digitize and that Kyohei's gang from Durarara inspired Hudie for Hacker's Memory.

There was a Survive leak on Weibo and it reveals
◊ Fangmon as a miniboss being battled on a dam
◊.
There's also a game map
◊ in the leak.
The game's commitment to obscure Digimon is looking pretty good if it's willing to do this kind of deep dive.
Nope, those appear to be the only screenshots with a new Digimon, all the other ones are just of the characters' partner Digimon, a conversation select
◊, and some conversations between Saki and Floramon.

DigiNavi: Digimon News Navigation live stream set for January 24, 2020
oh no
During Free Action, your group of friends will disperse and act individually. By choosing an area from the map and talking to your friends in that area, you can learn new information and the problems your friends are dealing with, which will deepen your bonds.
There are also places where you can go during Free Action where you can enter “Free Battle” to train your Digimon and collect items.
New Survive character
◊, Shuji Kayama, the oldest in the group and seen as a very trustworthy leader. His partner is Lopmon.
I wonder if Terriermon will show up since those two are almost always a package deal or they'll just have Lopmon by itself.
He’s doomed too.
That Digimon Re Arise promotion is cute though, Veemon and Agumon with Tai and Davis’s goggles.
Given that Digimon is at its core kind of a Sugar Bowl, I dunno, girl-who-doesn't-believe-in-death(?!?!?!!?) might turn out to be right.
Digimon can be idealistic, but it can also be pretty dark too.
Lets not act like it's all sunshine and rainbows here.
One Strip! One Strip!I wouldn't go so far as to call Digimon a Sugar Bowl. Being idealistic isn't quite the same thing as being a sugar bowl. It's considerably darker than Pokemon, for example.
