His rapping sounds like low-rent 21Pilots more than anything else to me. Grating.
The sample's very cool though.
My big takeaway was that Coffee should have been the hit.
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.Beabadoobee has better tracks for sure, but out of those two? Definitely.
A Halsey/Speech incident has happened in the Powfu video lmao.
If it really is Powfu not just someone who used that username as a joke. That being said when you get Tik Tok famous people, that is much more level with Youtube video so it's possible it is him.

Todd has put up his next review of "an obscure song [he's] into right now." on Patreon
It's Wet Ass Pussy :P

It was only a matter of time.
Todd reviews "WAP" by Cardi B ft. Megan thee Stallion.
This video pretty much sums up my feelings on this song. It’s raunchy as hell, but it’s also really funny and goofy in a good way. It’s a nice escape from, well, everything.
And yes, there is definitely something to be said about arguably the horniest number one song ever being released during a quarantine.
This might be the funniest positive review he’s ever done.
Wonderful Ass Pasta indeed.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo....I thought Wap was just the name of the song. I wasn't aware it was an acronym. I guess my mind was too clean for this thing.
It's been 3000 years…Two reviews this close together. That's surprising.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.Another possible Trainwreckords candidate, A Bigger Bang by the Rolling Stones? Even their mid-90s stuff was still getting mainstream airplay, but this album pretty much turned them into nothing but a legacy act. Sure, their 60s-80s stuff is still popular, but can you remember anything about this album?
Except... by all accounts that record was successful. It went platinum in US, Canada and Germany, Gold in a bunch of other places and it did get some pretty good reviews, though also some middling ones. Sure, the band hasn't released any new material since, but that tends to happen after you've been around for 50 years.

Children of Dievas - my webcomic about the Northern CrusadesNew Trainwreckords up on Patreon: Liz Phair's Funstyle
Edited by Pachylad on Oct 21st 2020 at 6:23:16 PM
Are there any rules for adding or not adding new entries to Todd's page when it's only been released to Patreon and not the general public?
CyberPhoenix already asked this but there's already new entries for the above release. I'm a patron, but it doesn't feel right to add entries at this point.
Yeah, that's deliberately spoiling things for people who can't watch it yet. Don't add them until public release.
Children of Dievas - my webcomic about the Northern CrusadesTodd posted TRAINWRECKORDS: "Funstyle" by Liz Phair. I also put back in the entries from the Trainwrecords page.
I saw that and the video cut off while I was watching it.
ETA to add new video.

Todd took the video down due to uploading the wrong version, and he's already stated that he's going to fix it soon.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyI… kinda like U Hate It, not gonna lie.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo. Some of Liz's singing on that album gives me the weirdest Dolly Parton vibe
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyThe excerpts from this album, especially the "Funstyle" tracks...yikes, these are awful, and I'm saying that as someone who's a St. Anger apologist (And if you dig back far enough, I'm sure you can find me saying something like "I appreciate the rawness and honesty of this" regarding Unplugged 2.0).
WOW.
I guess I don't know much about a lot of pop music, because I'm often unfamiliar with the artists on Trainwrecords. I don't think I've ever heard of Liz Phair before.
But the songs from the album... geez. This is evidence for my thesis that the worst thing you hear from an artist is defensiveness towards criticism. These "fun style" songs suck. Did she honestly think they were going to take off? At least the regular songs aren't bad.
Nach jeder Ebbe kommt die Flut.
Seems like the song fell off the charts literally the day he posted the review.
Ah well, I wouldn’t call Powfu the worst rapper ever − though he certainly has the worst stage name ever − but his rapping does sound very amateurish. Which it is, I guess, since it’s a freaking Tiktok song.
