No need to like it ironically, it's a good song.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I never really paid attention to the lyrics in Stronger, mainly because I am focusing on work and the backing track is annoyingly loud and catchy, so I never really found issue with the song. The minute Todd started on the cliches, I got realised that I do not care for this song. That isn't to say it is on my all-time hatelist*, just that I'm not a big fan of it.
"Evii is right though" -Saturn "I didn't know you were a bitch Evii." -Lior ValI never saw From Justin to Kelly, but how bad it was (combined with how quickly it was rushed to video/DVD and the fact that I used to be a huge American Idol fan) has only made me want to see it more. But a review from Todd and someone else would suffice. I could see it being another Todd/NChick crossover.
@Jethro: Yeah, over here on the American side of the Atlantic her music gets played constantly. Even the songs that Todd mentioned tanked were still overplayed as hell.
I still love "Because of You" and "Since U Been Gone", though.

I hear this song a lot on the radio, and for some reason I never realised that same person sang this and "Mr. Know It All". Maybe they were just so average they washed over my ears and left no trace afterwards. On the other hand, I have a manic-depressive coworker who loves this song and finds it inspirational, but I find the lyrics generically upbeat, like Katy Perry's "Firework". I did find Todd's breakdown of the lyrics and find nothing going on quite interesting.
It might be Gotye and Kimbra's "Somebody That I Used to Know", but I always thought that kind of music was something Todd personally likes and he really enjoys it when it makes big (see Neon Trees in 2010, Foster the People in 2011). Maybe it might be another "N in Paris" episode and be a review of a song Todd actually likes? Or maybe he actually hates it? Or maybe that's not it at all? Or...

The black bars might not be for the actual video. Maybe a skit or something (of course, not blocking actual flesh)?
Bah, it's probably not Gotye anyway.

Stomping on your fingers as you're clinging on to the abyssWe already did Fatal Attraction ("IT'S NUTELLA, BITCH"), so the obvious step would be for Todd to get insanely jealous all of a sudden when Lindsay finds somebody else.
I'm a skeptical squirrel

Perhaps ironically, I really liked Miss Independent.
