A Take That! to the furry fanbase? As some of clampett's toons would say "something new has been added". lol
Not Quite Batman
Even uglier and more unpleasant than John K's usual fare.
"Religion isn't the cause of wars, it's the excuse." —Mycroft NextReally? This was made for Adult Swim? ... really?
Did he forget all about cinematography and timing for the past 15 years?
Pretty bland, but I've seen worse... The Pee Boners short made me go for the Brain Bleach...

Don't Press Your Luck too many times in life. You'll just get whammied.John K. being a hack and giving me a reason to hate him and ignore every bad thing he says about Western animation (though SOME shit he says rings true nowadays, sadly)?
Yep. I'm still on Earth, though I keep thinking about joining the Infinite Space and becoming an OG Dog to get away from it all sometimes... Including this one!
However, I'd like to direct everyone for ONE MOMENT to this rant, which it is. BTW:

This is where I, the Vampire Mistress, proudly reside: http://liberal.nationstates.net/nation=nova_nacioI can't really trust that guy ever since he defended Adult Party Cartoon. And besides, a John K.-helmed Flintstones would just be the same racist and misogynistic crap that he's done since Nickelodeon fired.
At least Seth has done something that isn't just gross-out jokes (Johnny Bravo, for example. And he mentored the creator of Phineas and Ferb.). And American Dad proved he can non-cutaway heavy material.

More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/I have no reason to believe John K. has anything against furries. South Park makes fun of various groups all the time.
South Park makes fun of a group of people: Oh, how funny! South Park always does good natured ribbing!
John K. makes fun of a group of people: HOW DARE YOU!

I don't judge artwork by the people who make it.
Dr. Seuss is an amazing cartoonist and author. He had an affair on his wife, prompting her to commit suicide. He then married the person he was having the affair with.
Does this make him a terrible person? Yes. He's downright despicable. But this doesn't make the works he created any less brilliant. He was one of my idols growing up, and he still is, but because of the good things he's done, not the bad.

Not as as bad as I thought, but it as alright. But in all seriousness, even though I'm not defending John K. You people can handle most of the insane stuff that is grossout on Adult swim but your digusted by John K's stuff? Thats being a bit hypocritical.
Also, a lot of great cartoonists may have done good stuff but in reality(some of them) aren't great people. Like Chuck Jones for instance. To me he's done some great stuff, but if you look at his background he's a Jerkass. Same goes for R.Crumb.
@Buscemi: Someone said it best about Seth and John...
"It's very hard to say. Seth Mac Farlane is his own kind of douchebag, but he seems at least aware of things John K isn't. For example, how to get along with other people and and cooperate on a group project. The fact that he has multiple shows out right now that show no immediate sign of going away at least proves that. Perhaps more importantly for a guy who makes cartoons, he seems to understand the inherent stupidity of taking cartoons TOO seriously as an artform. Animation, even 'funny' animation, is an artform and a labor of love, but if taken too seriously it quickly becomes ridiculous and unfun."

Don't Press Your Luck too many times in life. You'll just get whammied.I like John Kricfalusi more than most, but he seriously reminds me of the main character of Rejected. I was seriously reminded of the "left-handed cartoons" from towards the end of the short by this bump.
At first I didn't realize I needed all this stuff...
It would give him something to do other than rant and get noticed by the idiocracy that is Cartoon Brew!
However, I am not interested in this Remake of The Flintstones, anyway. I'm not trying to be a nostalgia whore, but in either hands, I can't see it doing well...at all.
Peace.

I'm not hear to discuss the deranged opinions of this man. I'm here to say that I find this new short to be very humorous. The problem with most of Mr. Kricfalusi's recent cartoons are that the expressions aren't very readable and are often warped to the point of being ugly. I don't seem to notice it here, though. Perhaps he's over it, or maybe I'm used to it.
