"Are we cooking the squirrel now?" Bianca swings it by the tail and slaps Grimm with it, dashing ahead before he can retaliate. "I'm a bit hungry." The firewood is still under her arm; she drops it on the cave floor and sits down.
Lovely. Just keep acting natural.
Warm hugs and morally questionable advice given here. Prosey Bitchfest"Sure, if you wish." Todd said, handing Prisha the staff. It was around 5 feet long, made from a dark wood, and smooth, as if it had been carved from a single branch without any knots.
It sported random rune-like markings all along its length, and a satellite-dish-like carving at the top, but was otherwise unadorned.
Todd looked around the cave, at the people setting up camp, and gazed out at the setting sun, evoking memories . . .

"While it isn't a good idea to settle too far in, leaving the proverbial back door open is equally unwise. I suggest we form a small party and scout out the cave before we move everyone in." She stops, waiting at the mouth of the cave. "Who's in?"
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialPrisha walked around the cave with the staff held in front of him. It was longer than even he was.
"Yes, I have heard of such artifacts such as a certain staff that can focus and enhance one's magical abilities," Prisha gazed down at the staff as he increased his PSI and channeled it through the peculiar object to see if anything would happen. "Makes me wonder if your staff is really..."
PSI and magic were really the same kind of power named differently in separate cultures. Even with his PSI weighed down by the training ring, Prisha wanted to see if his powers can have an interesting effect through the staff.

Help?.. please...I forgot to mention that the unreality/fuzziness of Todd's presence also extends to the staff, and it should have looked like that when Prisha picked it up.
The staff came into focus, and began to hum, the runes along its length glowing a deep blue, and a bright light shone from the top, illuminating the cave entryway.
Realization flashed through Todd's mind. "Ah, that's interesting. I have a feeling it does more than just light up, however." he said, watching Prisha.
Note that the staff will currently act as a power amplifier, for whatever the wielder wishes to do. It can also fly. There may be side effects later.

Grimm considered Scarlett’s proposal for a moment, then nodded. “Alright, me and Scarlett are going to scout out the cave. The rest of you stay here. I got a light, so I think we’re good.” After a few seconds of rummaging around in his pack, Grimm pulled out a flashlight. He shouldered his K11, pulled out his USP .45 and, with the flashlight facing backwards in his left hand, flicked it on and crossed it over his right. Nodding to Scarlett, he said, “Alright, let’s go. I’ll take point.” Before entering the mouth of the cave, the light beam from his flashlight bouncing off the cave’s walls.
yeyShe nodded, and set foot in the cave. There was a click, and a second circle of light started to dance about the walls.
"Keep yours focused on the path ahead. I'll use mine to look around."
The light jumped and swiveled, illuminating scratched walls, grooved floors. Holes pockmarked the ceiling. From where she stood, she could see many things, and yet she could see nothing. It felt like the darkness was shifting, changing things as soon as she took the light off of it. She sighed.
All men fear the dark, though few know why. Perhaps it's simply a fear of the unknown. Or maybe, thought Scarlett, shining her light on ahead, they're just afraid of what they'll find when they turn on the lights.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serial"Interesting indeed," Prisha gazed in amazement at the staff and bright beam of light it emits. He thought of bringing it back with him to the Occult Society so they could learn more about it. But decided it's not such a good idea at the moment since it seems like he'll be stuck on this island for a while.
"You might not be such a boring person after all," Prisha smirked and handed the staff back to Todd for now.

Help?.. please...Decided he would get bored just sitting around, Prisha decided to trail Lafayette into the caves. It would be safest to take a road someone else has already walked. Though it's no guarantee. Keeping a safe enough distance to still see him and be cautious of his surroundings.
Help?.. please...After walking for a while in the caves, Prisha saw a glimpse of light and noticed he caught up to Grimm and Scarlett. Seeing how he went deep enough into the cave already, he decided to follow cautiously to see they were doing.
But on second thought decided to turn back out from where he came from just to be safe. It was strange though, that Lafayette person could find his way around the caves without light. What else could he be capable of?

Help?.. please...Bianca turns her earring into a knife and prepares her squirrel for cooking. After spearing chunks on a stick, she begins to roast it.
Bland, and very squirrelly.
"Anyone recognize some more edible plants out there?"
Warm hugs and morally questionable advice given here. Prosey Bitchfest"You and I could head out and find some plants," said Adam. "Volcanic soil is very fertile, so there shouldn't be any problem with there being edible plants. There might be apples around here, as well as pears, cherries, peaches, and grapes, based on the climate. And we already know there's blackberries, but a diet of blackberries, squirrels, and fish would get old fast."
He hefted his rifle strap further up his shoulder. "Although, I gotta say, an island with the climate of, say, England or the Northeastern US and a volcano is a bit weird for me. Volcanoes don't usually occur in the Atlantic." He frowned. "At least, I think it's the Atlantic - it's where my boat was when the storm hit - but based on all the other weird stuff going on here, who knows?"
While listening on the rest of the group, Prisha decided to take a look inside his backpack to see if there's anything useful. Let's see, some snacks, chips, chocolate bars, books, detonator mines and shampoo. He continued to think carefully of what to do next.
Help?.. please...A flash of white light, a feeling of weightlessness, and a nauseating dizzy spell later, Alice suddenly found herself face-first in the dirt of the uncharted island.
Opening her eyes, she stood up carefully, steadying herself as she did. The last thing the young-looking woman wanted was to throw up or something. It'd stink up her breath and quite likely ruin her clothing. She gave herself a once-over, checking each little fold and seam of her outfit - a very classy set of black business attire with stylish pops of color in her shirt and accessories - for even the slightest imperfection. Her face contorted in annoyance as she spotted some dirt on her sleeve and proceeded to brush it off.
She let out a sigh, tucking a strand of her wavy, blonde hair that had come loose from her updo behind her ear. She then proceeded to scan the area, her blue eyes with a distinguishable splotch of green in one scouring the area for her companion. She whistled, waiting for a response.
It didn't take long. Promptly, a Siberian husky came bounding out of the shallow waters nearby, pausing in an attempt to shake herself dry every so often. Once the dog had reached her owner, she started licking the woman's hand furiously as the latter attempted to give her an affectionate rub on the head. The jingling tags on her collar occasionally shimmered as the excited canine bounced about on her feet.
Alice smiled at her dog's antics, though she knew it was time to get going, "Easy, Lyla," she said as she patted the dog's back, "C'mon. We have to go find that husband of mine."
She produced one of her husband's socks from her purse, letting Lyla sniff it. Recognizing the scent, Lyla's tail began wagging so fast you'd think it was going to fall off. She began moving at a steady pace towards what looked like a volcano, and Alice did her best to keep up with the animal in the light fog.
“DAMMIT WHEN I HEAR 'SPACE CQC' ALL I CAN THINK OF IS BIG BOSS WITH A FISHBOWL ON HIS HEAD, STRANGLING AN ASTRONAUT OUTSIDE THE ISS.""Thanks," Todd said, taking the staff back.
He walked around the encampment, and watched the sunset.
The fire threw dancing shadows on the wall near the entrance, as darkness approached.
Nearby, he took his staff, and drilled a small hole into the rock floor. He secured the staff inside, having it light the area, both to hold off the darkness, and to signal their location to anyone else similarly lost.
He then sat down near the fire watching the roasting.
With nothing left to do for now, Prisha just decided to just sit down watch the sunset and listen to what else everyone are saying for now in case they say anything useful. Just listening, listening listening...

Help?.. please...currently in school, I wont be able to post alot.
Donovan moved silently, but took no interest in exploring the cave as the others moved up ahead, simply sitting at the entrance.
He tried to considered how he got here. He couldn't remember anything but the bright flash. He knew some of the group had said something about a plane crash, but he wasn't on a plane when he got there. He turned toward the purple haired kid who was minding his own business, "Hey kid, you got anything to eat?"
"That lady there is cooking a squirrel," Prisha replied to Donovan nodding in Bianca's direction then turning to Eli's direction. "And he's got fish. Maybe you can ask them to share."
Help?.. please...

"Todd, may I take a look at that staff of yours?" Prisha asked curiously. "I may know a thing or two about it."
Help?.. please...
