The rush of power rejuvenated Angel Six and he felt the wound in his arm lessen. He tested a few fingers, and they moved. "Much obliged, ma'am" he thanked, tipping his hat and flexed his fingers, white energy surrounding them. He moved over, knelt down and held up a finger, putting it to the opening of the wound. He brought it across, sealing the cut back up and then healing the raw skin so it was like new. "Well. This seems to be quite a well oiled fighting machine. We took out the terrors of the desert skies, or at least this area of it" he explained, the wound healing more and more.
When it was perfect, he'd be able to fly out of here, easier perhaps than before.

Looking at the rubble that now lay on the floor, some of it from the above room, the explosives expert grinned maniacally. Seeing the grin, his comrade came over and smacked him on the back. He hissed. "Could you be any more cliche?" she asked, moving over to check the merchandise. "So? Who cares. I got James Perdition, and the guy with him. I took out -the- Perdition. I'm going to be getting that money, woo!" exclaimed the terrorist, tossing the detonator away. He'd have to make a new one.
"Don't underestimate that man. If you had bother to pay attention than just blow up things, you'd notice the 'guy' with him managed to grab his shirt, and hurl them both out of the room. They survived, and are probably pissed. Everyone, arm yourselves, and work on getting through the ceiling" ordered their leader, a big man wearing a uniform.
Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.Kyrio looked to the one that healed the angel, and asked, "Do you think you could patch me up as well? It would be very much appreciated."
He made a point to always be friendly and cordial with potential allies. These people seemed like the type that would be very valuable in helping him get what he wanted.
Felix nodded, somehow remaining untiring in his eagerness to please. "Of course," he replied, moving over to heal the other person. When the blue light had descended on Kyrio, he turned to the rest of the group.
"Is that all for now?" he asked. "I had something else I needed to do here, and I kind of have to go soon."
Anyway here's Blackwall"That soon, huh?", asked Ashi. "Why in such a hurry," he continued to say, smiling, "we only just got here! Surely you could stick around for a just a little bit..."
The truth was that Felix was the one that Ashi had originally come up to, to try to get him to explore the town with him; not Lucky, not anyone else, but Felix. When Ashi had made a plan, unless it he needed to just let it go, he would do his best to keep it going. Even if it could potentially mean a bit of pestering and whining on his part...
"Well, someone else asked me to get something from this town for them," Felix replied with a casual shrug. "I was getting fairly close to it when the vultures attacked, and as soon as I find it, I'll have to go back to that person. I have to go bck as soon as I can." He glanced towards the nearest house, an bandoned, ramshackle affair covered in dust, its decaying front door swinging off its hinges. "Actually, I think it was there..." he murmured, looking towards the house.
Anyway here's BlackwallAshi looked towards where Felix motioned, and saw what looked to be an excuse for a house. Still, there was certainly something about it that drew your attention. Not to mention, just what sort of item worth anything could possibly come from there?
"Hm...", pondered Ashi. "Tell you what," talking towards Felix and smiling again," if you have other buisness, places to be, that's fine. But now that you've talked about this 'item'... well, let's just say that it's got my interest. At the least, you're here, and I'm here, so I don't see why we can't go get this item of yours together. And besides...", he said, only to momentarily stop, to turn and look at the old, rickety hovel, his smile fading, "that place there doesn't exactly look like a funhouse, if you know what I mean..."
"Oh, it's not that interesting an item," Felix replied airily. * "You can follow me if you really want to, though." having said that, the young man moved into the house, peering into the gloomy, dusty hallway.
"It was this way... he murmured, turning towards a door on the left and pushing it open.
Sure enough, there in a sagging cabinet stood the coveted prize; a bottle of inexplicably well-preserved whiskey.
Anyway here's Blackwall"It sure does..." said Sunset, drawing his revolvers. He walked into the station, guns held high. "Maybe you can shoot a little lightning ball into the ceiling, get some light through the room?"
He knew that, technically, lightning couldn't do this. However, given magic's open defiance of physics he wouldn't be surprised at all.
Well, thought Ashi, that... was remarkably underwhelming.
"...Whiskey?" He asked, his voice tinged with disappointment. "That's it? All they wanted was one bottle of... whiskey?" Although, thought Ashi, come to think of it... why did they want one bottle of whiskey, from the middle of nowhere?"
"Come to think of it...", Ashi pondered aloud, "why did they want one bottle of whiskey, from all the way out here? I mean, this is the last place anyone buying whiskey would want to go. You'd think they they'd just get it at the store or something..."
...Although, thought Ashi, considering the lengths that Felix had to go to get it... that could be some pretty **** good whiskey..

Felix shrugged. "I honestly have no idea why he wanted whiskey. He just asked for it and I found myself here," the young man said quite frankly. "My powers can be a little weird like that, I guess." He turned to the young-looking swordsman with a cheerful wave.
"Well, this is where we part ways. It was nice to meet you, Ashi. Maybe I'll see you again someday. Goodbye!" With one last smile, Felix literally vanished into thin air, presumably to complete the task he had been given.
Anyway here's Blackwall"Hey, wa—!", Ashi cried out, but he was gone. As if he had never been there. "Wait...", Ashi softly said to himself. For some reason Ashi couldn't fully understand, Ashi felt... rather lonely, and even a bit sad. The best he could tell was that this was due to his special 'condition', as it were. But, soon enough, he was able to get himself together, and he knew that he wouldn't get anywhere if stared behaving like the kid he appeared to be.
He kept telling himself this.
...So, a few minutes after he and Felix had entered the house, Ashi finally emerged, and started to head back to the rest of the group... but he stopped. He couldn't tell for sure, but he thought that he saw something — or someone— out of the corner of his eye. He slowly moved his right hand towards his sheathe, just in case...
No, I'm not wanting, or expecting, another boss fight. What I'd like is for a criminal or two to show up.
Kyrio looked over at Ashi and smiled a little, that kid reminded Kyrio vaguely of his own son back home. But...what was a kid doing out here anyway, and why was he wielding a sword and dressed in that way...
Perhaps he was an anomaly, much like Kyrio himself was. This was definitely interesting, so many people with so many interesting abilities gathered in one place so conveniently for him.
He asked Ashi, "So, do tell why a youth like yourself is out here in this area?"
...Apparently, what Ashi was noticed was merely one of the travelers from earlier. Regardless, he still felt that it was best to keep his guard up; after-all, there were still 8 people here, according to the sign. He loosened his guard up a bit, but still his kept his right hand near his sheathe.
"Oh," said Ashi to the man, brandishing a seemingly sincere smile, "not much really; I like to wander is all, and so, I come across these kinds of places every now and again. Mind you, I wasn't expecting to be here; the map I bought must have been a fake." While it couldn't actively be seen on his person, Ashi did in fact have a map, tucked within his kimono. Given what Ashi had been through however, it might have no longer been in the best of shape.
"So," continued Ashi, "what's your story, if I may ask? What's your name?" Of course, Ashi figured he wouldn't really get much out of him, considering that he himself only told the partial truth. After-all, travelers in general, from Ashi's experience, rarely, if at all, told others everything there was to know about themselves, and this included Ashi.
Kyrio smiled like a fool, "My name's Jon Seters." It technically was not a lie, as Jon Seters was one of the many names Kyrio had used as a pseudonym while traveling around to forecast where Phantom Claw should move next.
"So as far as my story, I'm just a traveling magician, you know, sleight of hand, tricks up my sleeve, such and such. Barely makes me a living, but its something."
To demonstrate, he put his hand up, used his illusions to make a translucent sphere, but then clenched his hand and the sphere vanished.
"Neat trick.", said Ashi, honestly a bit amused. "Let me guess, you were the one who let lose that sand...stuff, in the fight back there, weren't you?" Ashi had indeed noticed the sand that seemingly moved of it's own accord in the midst of the fight against the vicious vulture. If this was indeed the same, then his little 'ball exhibit' was just the tiniest fraction of his true might...
Kyrio kept the goofy little smile, "Very perceptive, yes, that was one of my tricks."
He supposed he could have done more against the vulture, like made the sand into black iron sand and chainsaw slashed it to pieces, but then he wouldn't have gotten to see all the unique and interesting powers in this group.
With eagerness, Rivers reached the floor Perdition had commanded him to go to, leaping away from the ladder and onto the storage level. Smoke still covered the room from the explosion, acting like a thick fog. Past it, voices could be heard. It sounded like these terrorists weren't so dumb, apparently understanding that him and Mr. Government had managed to make an escape.
"Do what you want, Mr. Government," Rivers said, moving up to one of the large shelves of storage. "I'm going to go on ahead and loosen them up a bit." With a mighty jump, he scaled the 12-foot shelf in one bound, then made a dash across it to the other side, balanced like a feline. And as he approached the gang of terrorists, his smile became wider and wider.
Reaching the end, he made a final leap, his sights focused on one of the terrorists, armed with a large gatling. It was a surprise attack, and only at the peak of his jump did any others even notice Rivers. His left arm was cocked back, fingers wide open, and once above his target, his grip clenched around the enemy's left arm. His pull was vicious, totally dislocating the arm completely and forcing the man into a screech of a cry.
To finish things, Rivers kicked the backside of the foe's knee, forcing him to drop, and with that same leg, pushed him away. By now, all focus was on him, and his smile was glistening. But he didn't stand still, rather, he was pacing in a small circle, backwards. His eyes looked around the circle of terrorists, preparing his next move.
"You really thought explosions would kill me off? Heh, maybe Mr. Government, but not me," he informed cockily, raising his hands up for a battle. "So, come on. Either one at a time or all at once, let's see if you can handle The Enlightened."
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -Wanderlustwarrior"Huh," said Ashi, scratching the back of his head with his right hand, "that's... really something." It was certainly more then just something. Now that Ashi had thought about it some more, Jon could have done more in the fight against the vulture. At the least, he could have tried to down and suffocate the beast, or fill it with so much sand that it couldn't breathe, or any number of possibilities. And yet... he didn't. Either 'Jon' himself wasn't all that skilled with his abilities, or...
Whatever the reason, it certainly didn't allude to anything good. Ashi thought it would be best for the time being to keep his eyes on that man.
"So," said Ashi again, putting on a smile and changing the subject, "you explored this town yet? I myself need to see if there's any canteens around. I lost mine on the way over here. To the town, I mean."

Kyrio sighed, "I was unable to look through the town, but it appears that, with the types of people in it, it would be unwise for any one person to go in alone. I think I might be able to help you get a canteen."
He knew that Ashi was suspecting something, after all, it would be common sense to someone that with the type of abilities he had demonstrated so far, that there was probably more hidden in reserve.
He supposed the boy was a rather bright type for someone so young.
"That'd be swell—", he was about to say, but he halted in mid-sentence; he was about to tip down his Sandogasa, only to realize — he didn't have his Sandogasa! "Uh, hold on just a minute..."
He darted over to where he had seen his Sandogasa last; sure enough, there it was, lying on the ground, like common scraps. It didn't seem too badly damaged however; maybe a bit battered, but still doable. He picked it up, dusted it off, and placed it right back on his head. He then dashed off back to Jon again, and arrived in seemingly no time at all. "There we go!" said Ashi. "Now, let's go, shall we?" Tipping down his Sandogasa, he motioned to the bare strip of town several feet away from them, and started moseying towards it...

Leaning against the wall of a run down shack, a man tilted up his hat. In his hands he held several pictures of those who had fought the vulture. For some reason, the photo of the Felix person had come out blank. Still, he had the others, but all the same: unnaturals were an abomination alright.
Hands in pockets, the cowboy walked into the door of the shack and tossed down the photos. "Unnaturals. Standard fee, double it if they're dead" he explained to a gaunt looking man sitting behind the dilapidated desk. Dusk covered the room, including him. "Any means necessary?" requested a voice next to the figure. "Who gives a shit about this town? Destroy it, and we'll arrange for transportation for you all" lied Lance Atlas, walking out. 'Time for the desert to reclaim this place'.
Criminals. Unnaturals. They were all the same to him. As he left, the old man organised the murderers and thieves, setting them to work. Only one of them had powers, but the others needed... other methods.
<><><>
As Chick hurried up the stairs, James waited a few moments then headed down instead. Through a network of simple tunnels, and a mix of acrobatics; he had to have some way to fight the Unnaturals. There was nothing special about James Perdition, he was perhaps a rare normal human. Just as Chick came through the door above, the head of the Government kicked down another door. Moving to a fork shaped lever, Perdition pulled it up, a low humming going through the underground. On a wall sat a picture of young James, surrounded by his members. He was smiling in the picture.
A bullet hole entered his younger self's head, and the photo fell down to the floor. "Not yet... now now..." he cursed, another crack of dry lightning booming across the ground.
<><><>
Looking up from the back of his beast, the creature now a few feet from the massive hole, the rider looked up, seeing the lightning act strange. Instead of falling down, it was now curling around in the air, making a cloud of electricity on top of the platform. it struck with a loud explosion, but the energy was instead transferred through the entire complex. "[[Ramming Always Works Charge" ordered the man, and his beast bellowed, running forwards, just as the lights inside came back on.
Lightning flashed, showing the creature for what it was: a gigantic armadillo, looking demonic and monstrous in front of the lightning.
<><><>
The storm handled, Perdition walked back and went to help Chick. The door was closed, and the picture cracked by his foot.
<><><>
"Me!" shrieked the mad bomber, running towards Chick and held up another detonator. This one would set off the dynamite strapped to his body, revealed by his coat opening. He jumped and pressed down, the terrorist leader spinning around at all the commotion and readying his weapon; a massive steel bat studded with nails.
I'll handle the criminals, however if yo ucould handle some foreshadowing ('It's quiet. Too quiet' or 'Where is everyone' or 'I could have sworn that shop was in another place') and then you'll get your meaty parts. When I type stuff in 'these marks' then that means the character is thinking it.

Inspirational quote against powerful image of nature.

Felix, having healed Angel Six, turned to Ashi with a grin, accepting the proffered hand and replying with a handshake of his own.
"I'm Felix," he replied cheerily. "It's nice to meet you, Ashi!" He turned to look at all the other members of their little group. "Nice to meet all of you, really."
Anyway here's Blackwall
