Shiho sighed, well she had her fun seeing these people at each others throats, but it was obviously causing problems for Kaoru. And honestly, they really did need to learn to cooperate, "I know you guys don't like this, and I know we're all different and won't be getting along anytime soon... but Kaoru-chan is really trying to help. Her methods may be... forceful, but she's really a good person just trying to make it so we can get along better."
"You don't have to give us your life story, or tell us the deep dark secrets of your past, though I'd love to know that, we just want a little bit of trust in this group."

"Shiho is right," Kaoru added, prompted to explain herself since Shiho had explained the situation. She landed, looking around at all of the others. "We've got to find that Sifuri thing, right? So we should get to know each other, and work together! And Shiho told me none of you were doing that."
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Once again, the Red's hated enemy, Logic, reared its ugly head. Atrocitus sighed. "My only justification for my.....over reaction was seeing Kribnefka like that reminded me too much of what happened on my home planet three billion years ago. But even if the Red had not consumed at then, it was a matter of eventuality with those two. You saw it as well. Whatever unity our group had was nearly annihilated just because of THEM. Nonlethal or not, they NEED to learn violence is only meant for the enemy!
"I would be more forgiving if it were mere sparring, or even a misunderstanding, but they were abusing their powers for resolving insult matches!" Atrocitus continued. "DO YOU EVEN KNOW THE NUMBER OF MASSACRES THAT OCCUR ALMOST DAILY IN MY UNIVERSE SPARKED JUST FROM PETTY INSULTS?!?"

DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!Sherlock looks in the general direction of Kaoru, with a expression that looked somewhat like confusion, and asks, "But how will getting to know each other change our ability to work together? Its not like it really matters what sort of people any of you are, and its not like that would affect our ability to work as a team!"
"Exactly!" proclaimed Yumemi, placing a hand on Kaoru's shoulder. "From what I've gathered so far, you only barely managed to achieve your goal last time. Too few of you seem willing to cooperate at all, and even then you're still only barely working together. The very first thing I saw when I came here was a very heated argument that really could've easily ended with loss of limb or, even worse, life. You all need to learn to pull yourself's together, grit your teeth and work together for the common good, unless you really want to fail miserably next time."
"Know your strengths, know your friends' strengths, know your enemies' strengths, and you will know success." She added, aimed at Sherlock. "And since we can't exactly interrogate our enemies right now, it's best to know what we're all capable of so we can form a better plan and actually come out on top by a wide margin, not just by the skin of our teeth. Surely that makes sense, does it not?"

"Yeah... we are." Ayumu replied back, slightly squeezing Lyna's shoulder to show that what she did was fine.
"Though next time, warn me... I can't see anything but white now." He said, looking at the spirit with his unfocused eyes. He could smell her, so it was fine for now.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Urza had stayed silent for a while to observe the existing group dynamic and how to change it to his satisfaction. He now thought he understood something of how to do that and this was the perfect opportunity.
"Actually," he said, "I have some ideas about organization and a chain of command, which must indeed exist if we are to achieve anything of significance. If you all will listen a moment, you may judge for yourselves if they are suitable."
He glanced at Sherlock.
"I understand that you prefer to work alone. If you wish, you may do that. But you will also likely die alone. There is always a point to cooperation and knowledge of one's allies."

A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. -Lao Tzu"I, and presumably, Robotboy, are listening," said Flere-Imsaho.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home."Yumemi-sensei is right." Kaoru added, grinning. "And she's sexy. Working together means we all need to know each other, that's how it works with teams."
That's how it worked with Shiho and Aoi... and now we're as close as friends can be.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Urza unconsciously fell into the formal tones of a Tolarian tutor as he ticked off points on his free hand.
"I believe three divisions of the group might serve best, each with differing areas of responsibility. First, a Vanguard/Scout division, to inform us what lies ahead and sow dissension and strife in the enemy ranks. Second, a Soldier/Frontline Division, to follow up and capitalize on this intelligence and disarray by hitting fast and hard. And third, a Strategist/Command/Reserve Division, to direct the others, analyze intelligence, and to hold in reserve until the critical moment."
He paused, looking about.
"I will take questions and comments if there are any."
A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. -Lao Tzu"Excellent, I see some people understand at least," Yumemi said. "And I suppose we should, Mr. Parker, although I'd like to hear what Urza has to say first."
"Ah, that's exactly right, Kaoru," the professor added, not showing even the tiniest reaction to the "sexy" remark, "Since you and Shiho seem to know each other, I can assume you were on a team together in your reality, am I correct? So you would know exactly what I'm talking about."
"Hmmm, yes, that makes sense," she replied to Urza. "Making sure everyone is working in an area that works well with their specialities... It's the most sensible thing I've heard since coming here, hah!"
"Oh, um, s-sorry, ahah..." Lyna laughed nervously. "I... Just wanted... But, um, yes, I already s-said that, ahah!"
She gently stroked her boyfriend's (Heheh, I have a boyfriend! So cool!) arm to comfort him. "Don't worry, it'll wear off soon enough."

"Cool. Don't worry, I know it'll heal, cause I'm a zombie." He chuckled, enjoying Lyna's touch. "But you should also know that unless I'm in the pink dress or accessing my magic, strong light and fire cause me more harm than usual people. If I go walking around on a sunny day, I quickly dehydrate and turn into jerky." As he explained that, steam could be seen wafting around his eye sockets as the seeing organs regenerated themselves with ease.
Blinking a few times, he finally got his vision back. "Ah... much better." The newly regenerated eyeballs instantly turned from red to white again, the hue that found on a normal human's. "I can finally see your smiling face again, Princess." He said, smiling.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Kaoru nodded, turning to face Yumemi and look directly at her chest in the process. Well, she was rather perverse... "Heeee..."
After a moment of that, she looked up towards Yumemi's face. "Yep, Shiho, me, and Aoi back at home are all part of an esper team for BABEL! We're the strongest espers enlisted by the government, the strongest anyone knows about."
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Based on what I've seen of your performance, through Mr. Parker's memory, I have a rough idea of where to place everyone," Urza replied to the significant question being asked. "Actually," he said to Spider-Man, "I had intended to put you in the Vanguard Division. You're able to get around fast and you're observant and intelligent enough to make a scout. You also have an uncanny ability to sense danger. But yes, I had intended Kaoru and Shiho for Vanguard as well, and Professor Yumemi and myself for the Strategist Division. I can provide a complete list, since I take it there is no objection to the idea?"
A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent upon arriving. -Lao Tzu"I agree that is configuration has a high probability of working; and I would be very interested to hear the rest of the list," said Flere-Imsaho.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home."Mmmm, I see," Yumemi still paid no heed to Kaoru's lecherous nature. "So you're really that powerful? Mmmm, good, good, that should come in handy."
"Hah, well, I suppose that's what I get for trying to whip everyone into shape, don't I?" she laughed, as Urza spoke his recommendations. "Those all sound like perfect placements, to be honest. Heh, with a little bit of work we could easily walk through the next encounter with little resistance!"
"Ah, that... That's good," Lyna blushed as she put on a nervous smile. "I... I really am sorry. I promise I w-won't do it again, ahah."
She turned even redder when Ayumu addressed her as royalty. "Ah! N-no, I'm n-no princess, I'm... I'm j-just a simple m-magician, th-that's all..."

"Note: From now on, I am relaying this conversation to Robotboy," said Flere-Imsaho, "If he will have anything to say, I will relay it to you." It twisted its casing around.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.
