"Don't worry Axl-san, as long as I'm not touching you, I won't be able to read your thoughts," Shiho assured, almost wincing at herself. She just guaranteed her teammates avoiding physical contact with her. But, it wouldn't be right to not warn them now that she knew she would be working with them for awhile.
"The obvious best leader would be Minamoto-san, still a shame he isn't here. Anyway, I doubt they'd let me touch them to find out if their good leaders or not."
"I'm not going to kill anybody," Marisa protested, waving the mini-Hakkero around. She'd never kill anyone! Except fairies, but fairies just came back perfectly fine, that was okay. "Danmaku's harmless!"
She was tempted to give a nice demonstration of that fact now, really. And the thing was standing right there, perfectly still.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""Alice Margatroid." The magician replied automatically, flexing her fingers and training the doll on the disturbingly ugly red thing. "I meant that I don't want Marisa to do something stupid that will get us both killed. Nothing about killing other people."
Honestly, even the asocial magician knew that it was a good idea to try and get an understanding of the conversation before making wild accusations like that. Especially one such as plotting murder... and even more so when you were an atrociously ugly thing with terrible choice in clothing.
"Mama is... umm... seventeen?" Hourai said, face scrunched up in thought. Shanghai tapped her on the shoulder and held up one finger, which apparently meant something to the red-eyed doll. "Umm... eighteen? Shang thinks?"

Twilight Sparkle was annoyed. Not so much as to lash out or scold, just mildly irritated. Two of the newcomers were about to have some kind of play-fight, Atrocitus was... being Atrocitus, and Ayumu was kissing Lyna* . They were all mucking about when there was business, research to be done. Ignoring all of these things, the unicorn calmly walked over to Kribnefka's house, pouring herself a glass of tea. "Thank you, Kribnefka." The Bearer of Magic took a long sip. "I have something to ask of you. This may seem a bit rude but... do you have a spellbook, by any chance?"

"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probably"Ah, psychometry..." Must remember that. Yumemi flicked a finger through her hair dramatically for no real reason. "So. From what I gather, everyone here has been gathered to form an army of sorts to retrieve something called "Sifuri". Now, seeing how an army needs an enemy, I'm guessing all those outbursts about... Killing" How barbaric. Ugh. "must have been about some previous operation. What exactly are we supposed to be fighting against, if I may ask?"
"Mmmph!" Lyna let out a muffled squeal as her lips met Ayumu's, but very soon gave in and kissed him back. She felt hot all over, and couldn't help but tremble ever so slightly. She wrapped her arms tightly around him, partially to stop from trembling, but mostly just to pull him even closer towards her. She wanted this to last forever, she just wanted to stay here in Ayumu's arms. She didn't care about Sifuri, or the fighting, or anything else. Just... This one moment... Let it last...
Unknown to Marisa, Atrocitus had non nothing other than violence, pain, and injustice for three billion years, and after watching his entire civilization annihilated due to a computer glitch and then having it swept under the rug as such, and then later creating a powerful weapon who's power source is immense, seething hatred against indiscriminate murderers and rapists, the mere mention of killing is enough for his concern, especially from strangers.......
The Red Lantern looked upon the Danmaku, thoroughly unimpressed with the multicolored floating cube. "Is that thing supposed to be a weapon?" he asked, pointing at Danmaku.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!"This?" Marisa held her mini-Hakkero up. "It's not a weapon, but it's totally awesome. It's my mini-hakkero!"
Pulling off a maneuver that would seem to be an utter violation of the laws of physicals, Marisa spun the small magical reactor on her finger in spite of it's multi-chambered shape. "It lets my pull of my best spell cards."
After a few moments of silence, Marisa grinned once again. "Wanna see?"
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""If its going to cause massive amounts of collateral damage, then no," Atrocitus said to Marisa, stressing the "NO" specifically. "All of us have already been through a tiring ordeal that was a combination of a race and a near deathmatch, and I do not want this moment of rest be ruined by some errant attack spell."
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!Ayumu felt the girl cling to him, and his blood pressure spiked, due to adrenaline and passion. He found his head was entering the state known as bliss, and that the girl seemed to be doing her best. Man... of all the times to be a virgin... He thought as he tried to match the spirit's enthusiasm with his own tricks, tasting her even more deeper than before. He moaned with pleasure as stimulation pricked away at him, electrifying his skin like he was shocked. His sense of touch simply spiked way up due to the girl's advances.
Relaxing his tense body, he tilted his head slightly to the side so that they wouldn't bump noses, which also led to a more comfortable position. As he grew closer to Lyna, he slightly opened his lips to make it easier for the both of them. As he did so, he gently edged his tongue into her mouth, mindful not to be too sudden or rough in case she didn't like it.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Marisa's grin widened further. This was leading right where she wanted it to lead, she was totally going to have fun with this. She'd probably go for her fun card, too. She got a kick out of firing Master Spark, it was awesome!
"It's called the spell card system," she explained, "Wanna see?"
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."Kribnefka looked over to Ayumu and Lyna.
"I was kidding about the wove wituaw! That's kind of icky thwough the eyes of... whatevew age gwoup I bewong to now."
He looked up at Twilight.
"No, but I have a study on the second fwoow. Aww the good stuff is in the Mangificent Mansion, dough."
...and that's terrible.Twilight nodded. Books where books, containing arcane knowledge or not. "I'll have a look, then." The unicorn began to enter Kribnefka's house, but stopped and glanced back and Lyna and Ayumu. "Do you wanna' stop them or should I?"
"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probably"Ah... Um..." Lyna gazed lovingly into Ayumu's eyes, before turning the brightest shade of red she'd yet been when she realised they were doing that in front of everyone. "Aaah, I, um, I mean, um, uh... A-ayumu, uh..."
Words failing her, she did the only thing she could do in this situation. She smiled at him.
"Hmmm..." Yumemi pondered aloud, "A monster of red light... An armoured man with a wolf motif... A purple unicorn... A... Crossdressing... Zombie? And some kind of elf-like creature..."
She stroked her chin, deep in thought, as everything started to come together in her mind. "Such odd individuals can only point to one thing..."
"...MAGIC!" She yelled, thrusting her finger into the sky. "That miraculous, marvelous untapped force, the final key to the grand unification, the lost science that I, Yumemi Okazaki, will be the one to rediscover! YES! It can only be magic! Ahah, if I stick around for long enough, I'll be able to get some valuable field research and finally make a thesis that they won't be able to casually cast aside! They'll have to take me seriously as a scientist after this! Hah, they'll have to give me the Noble Prize! Only it will be renamed the Okazaki Prize because I shall be considered the single greatest scientific mind in history for my research into magic! Ahahahahah!"
Yumemi continued ranting and laughing to herself for a while, regardless of whether anyone was listening or even cared in the slightest.

She smells so good... Ayumu thought as he continued looking at Lyna's face, his sharp nose picking up her faint scent. He blushed as he thought of that, and turned an even brighter shade of red as Lyna unconsciously puckered up.
Oh dear mother and father, please give me strength... Ayumu thought as he angled his mouth closer to hers... Only to have the living doll's voice pierce his mind.
"Eh? Mother?" He looked up and made some sort of screwed up grimace when the doll gestured to Atrocitus. His face relaxed a bit when the doll flew near the two fairies though. "Er... they look young..." He said, hoping that it wasn't implying anything and glad for a distraction from the awkward situation Lyna had caused. Not that she wasn't cute or anything, but... it was just a bit too sudden.
Ah screw it, at least this one doesn't hit me. He then bucked up, gathered his courage, and let his mouth melt onto the spirit's, tasting Lyna for the first time.
