~AIRTANK ACTIVATED~ ~SYSTEM INTEGRITY AT 120% DEFAULT CAPACITY~ ~MISSILE AMMO FULL~ ~WEAPON LEVEL AT MAXIMUM~
Quote was surrounded by a bubble of air, activated by his entry into an area with a nonstandard mixture of gases. It seemed it would be able to hold off any plantlife which would mess with his internal systems. Quickly, he looked about. It seemed there were several indiginous life forms. They payed the group no mind, so Quote did not attempt to shoot at them with the Spur*.
Looking towards the rest of the group, most of which were in the vehicle, Quote motioned towards the disc that Sec was picking up. It seemed that that would be their guide to their objective.
Atrocitus vaulted off the roof of the house landed right on the ground HARD, causing a slight tremor. He did not need Kribnefka's spell, as his atmospheric shielding provided his clean air for him to breath. Any spores that touched this shield immediately burst into flames, the effect looking like tiny fireworks going off all around him.
"No one, and I repeat, NO ONE is to attack ANYTHING unless it is openly hostile!" Atrocitus said to the group. "No target practice, no randomly shooting attack spells, no summoning, NOTHING! Do not even destroy any of the flora unless it obstructs our path! We are all in unfamiliar territory, and we have no idea of how terrible the vengeance any of these creatures, nay, this entire forest would wrought upon us....."
He then noticed Shantotto walking around the house, holding blue stone that was most likely provided to them. "The little one shall navigate," Atrocitus said, indicating the tarutaru.
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!The immortal held onto Lyna's hand as they were now in the overgrown fungal forest, feeling the softness of female skin. Ayumu then glanced at his new surroundings and instantly tensed up. He felt a prevalent danger in the surrounding, logic deeming if the insects were already this big and not attacking them, then what would the predators be like? He then switched over to his more serious mode, his eyes lighting up a bright crimson red.
"Shantotto, be careful and be on guard. I don't like this place, it reeks of miasma and danger." The immortal told the dimunitive mage. He then agreed with Atrocitus. "Agreed."

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Oooooo...
-The gretchin chorus as one on seeing the myriad lifeforms. Then they scramble behind the mekboss on hearing the clicking and other suspect noises. Bigrench takes a deep breath, inhaling the fungal air like a baleen whale feeding.-
See ya grots? Dere ain't nuthin ta be worried about. Da air tickles a bit when it goez down is all.
-In fact the "tickling" comes from billions of plant spores attacking the mekboss' body from withing and discovering they are no match for the bacteria living in an ork's gut. A wave of greenish cells, vaguely resembling a humanoid skull with jutting fangs, finshes them off by devouring the invaders.-
Koragg jumped out of the portal as he saw the lush forest. "Reminds me lot of The Briarwood Forest." Koragg said, looking around the forest. He then heard Atrocitus give off the ground rules. He nodded. "Very well. I don't attack those that can't attack on their own, so that's already covered." Koragg said.
Flere-Imsaho shrugged. What was there to do? He started scanning the area, beginning with visual, then switching to infra-red.

A faint chattering and the clicking of mandibles would likely attract the group's attention, for something enormous had landed on the roof of the house. It resembled a cicada in general shape and size- but no cicada was the size of an SUV, or ever had twelve chitinous legs that gingerly clung to the shingles of the roof, or dozens and dozens of tiny waving feelers in its mouth that it used to prod the walls. It looked around furtively with ten beady eyes; each one of them was a deep, rich blue. From its general posture and attitude, it looked like a mouse that had glimpsed a particularily succulent crumb of food. Seeing that nothing appeared to be amiss, it promptly began chewing on the roof of the house, clacking contendedly to itself as more of its kin appeared from the undergrowth, scurrying towards the house in anticipation of a good meal.

Ahead of them, the group would notice what appeared to be a metallic pillar, lying on the ground. A closer inspection, though, woudl show that the pillar was hollow-and, judging by its elgantly sculpted contours and shape, it appeared to be part of a gauntlet. As if to back up this hypothesis, not far away was a piece of an enormous metallic glove, covered by fungus but still recognizable.

"I suspect that the residents of this place may be large in size," reported Flere-Imsaho. "Look at these metallic objects," it said, pointing at them with a blue field.

"So man might have been here... or at least some kind of humanoid species. And it looks like whatever they were doing here did not end well... Everyone, if you would, please return to Go Go Fire. I don't want to take any chances, and it can fly if need be. We can scout out the location from here."
Wakka-wakka-wakka-wakka~Shantotto momentarily looked up at the noise, noted the insects with an air of amusement, and went back to work, circling where the house used to be and staring at the stone she held, looking for any change in it's behaviour.
A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.Quote looked at his hand, then back at the gigantic shape. It appeared to be some sort of glove, for a being several times his own size. Comparing the two, one up close with the much larger far away, he tried to judge the exact size, based also on the similar structure nearby.
The small robot decided to move closer, to investigate the structures and see if anything similar was nearby.
"I can fly as well," said Flere-Imsaho. "What, how do you think I move?" Its casing revolved around itself, the gesture meant to imitate that of a human looking around. "And since Drones of my specifications can break the sound barrier, I do not doubt that I will be able to keep up."
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Twilight felt the tingling sensation as she stepped through the portal, nodding a silent thank-you to whoever had cast the spell. The world that lay beyond the boundaries of the gate was... something else. It reminded her of the Everfree, in a way. The unicorn took a moment to shake of the spores that were gathering in her mane like dandruff before looking over at Shantotto and the glowing blue rock.
Twilight was about to ask what exactly it was before the giant insect appeared. The magician's horn glowed as she prepared a spell, though she took no other action. The gargantuan cicada may leave on its own, since its meal had been dispelled.
"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probably"No, it's hollow, I checked in HS," Flere-Imsaho corrected him.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Axl had politely listened to what Mbili had to say - this mysterious other group sounded like trouble, and he was willing to give them a warm welcome if they dared to impede their progress. He was also thankful that he was mechanical in nature - the toxic spores would have no effect on a reploid such as himself. Entering after the others, he patiently awaited whatever awaited him on the other side.
He felt a similar sensation to that he would have experienced if he had used a teleporter to reach their new location, but it was imperceptibly different somehow. Shaking off the feeling, he activated his twin busters, which made a satisfying array of clicking and clacking noises to complement the action. It was difficult not to be awed by the vista surrounding them, but he sharply reminded himself to focus on the task. He saw Sec messing around with a red disk of some sort. There was also a pillar and a... metal glove?
"Hey, be careful with that," he said. "That could be a trap or something."
Although he was cautious, his curiosity had been piqued by the two mysterious objects. Walking closer to them, he tried to inspect them further without putting himself in danger if they turned out to be less innocent than they seemed. It seemed the pale robot had gotten a similar idea, as he was doing almost exactly the same thing.
Good thinking.

The Lancelot landed with a dull thud and Suzaku had the get back to its feet as he used its eyes to look around.
Then he activated the dual Factsphere sensors, causing them to pop up out of the chest to gain data.
“Okay...this place is rather odd.”

Shantotto had ridden the house through the portal, and had felt Kribnefka's spell activate on her. She noticed the stone and proceeded the jump off the porch, trot over to where it fell, and pick it up.
"And this must be our guide to the prize! Now then, let's see if we can devise..." She started mumbling as she walked a slow circle around the house, always staring at the device, paying little heed to her surroundings.
