Fairly Oddparents was pretty good back in like 2003. Danny Phantom had two good seasons and a so-so third one. TUFF Puppy is just boring.

Probably not coincidentally, Oddparents and Phantom pretty much both went to the shit the second Steve Marmel quit working on them. I think he's the real brains behind Hartman's work.

Is Nelvana going to control the foreign rights to Tuff Puppy? Because The Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom already were. At least Tara Strong (the voice of Timmy Turner) recorded for Nelvana.

Yeah, Jason Kreis ain't exactly a soccer star.

The series sounds kind of boring, but from what I heard it had its moments.

[up] It does. Just not enough like you would want. I like it, though, but yeah. It's lack of villains/variety don't do it for me, nor will it the majority.

[up] I kew you'd say that. Almost everyone has...

Let's face it. The only thing we're really going to be laughing about is when that hack retires and stops making cartoons for Nick, further hurting them in some way, reputation-wise. However, Butch Hartman being gone might help them - barely.

I loved the third season of Danny Phantom,I really don't see the difference at all in quality. All I see is a tone shift back to the sillier days of Season One.

But even Avatar The Last Airbender kind of did that with the third "Book",I mean before the Invasion, most of it was Filler and they let loose the Sokka jokes at the time. No one complains about that do they?

It's Butch Hartman and the Avatar creators that make Nick even remotely worthwhile at this point, and if Hartman retired,.... only Korra would be up for support.

TUFF Puppy has a great premise and it could get better, and Danny Phantom never went downhill, only Fairly Oddparents needs to go at this point. Sure I'm still skeptical, but hey American Dad got better didn't it.

But I guess it's just so popular to hate Mac Farlane (Mostly justified) and anyone remotely associated with him (Not justified)

That's your opinion, but Third Season does not equate to the first two goodness. Characterization suffered for one, some of the jokes were flat and terrible and instead of building up to an arc and villain we had an anticlimatic movie frought with even more character derailment.

That's your opinion, the third season develops Danny by quite a bit and puts more into the Sam+ Danny ship other than the insistent She Is Not My Girlfirend,it brings out a lot character in Jazz, and some of the jokes fall falt no matter what season.

And that's your opinion.

Nuff said.

From what I know of T.U.F.F. Puppy it seems like one of those shows that's funnier that it has any right to be (like Back At The Barnyard). It struck me as surprisingly amusing for what it was, and though it's not the best thing I've ever seen on Nick, it's alright, I guess.

To answer fifimcfeef's question, The only one I know for sure that has Nelvana owning the distributing rights is Fairly Odd Parents

[up][up] This. It's just so hard to like, yet it is likable, despite its creator.
