If there's a limit to the # of open topics allowed to be posted in TRS, then ... can we maybe get a meter graphic depicting the current TRS backlog relative to that?

You get the number when you try to start a new thread. Just click "Create a new conversation"

Ah. Well, I haven't done that in some time.... [edit] Actually, now that I see it, I notice the count only displays when the limit's been exceeded.

I was thinking more along the lines of it being displayed when you view the TRS forum itself. Or at least show the current number when you create a new topic.

It shows it when you attempt to create a new thread. It also shows it when the limit has not been reached, it just hasn't been below the limit since implementation.

I am not seeing it on the form for new IP threads, just TRS (which, of course, is overlimit).

Idea related to the limit: What of a forum view option that only displays open threads?

I know it's been suggested before, I'm just rehashing it - could we get subforums or archives of both TRS and IP that locked threads are automatically moved to?
