Well, I wouldn't mind doing it here. I was just thinking that it might be better to leave the option of splitting this idea into its own thread open.
So... Juvenat. The way I see it, we could make idea-brainstorming easier by first coming up with a rough categorization of the treatments' intensity, like ranging all the possible ways from superficial bodymods to total body replacement/switching.
Oh right, I forgot to mention that this should also include life-extension methods that require extensive Ad Mech involvement.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Well, I've decided to do a little side project not related to my other two works. People from the Ghost Walkers thread might recognize the name of Sidro Harrah. Now he is the subject of a short story.
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/7488876/1/The_Legend_of_Sidro_Harrah
Chapter 11 of Battle Lines The Breather Episode
And Chapter 2 of Sidro Harrah. Right Here
Maybe I should my flesh-out-the-setting idea
to the main thread. What do you think?
Relevant to peoples' interests.
I demand the harrowing tale of a Magpie Watch Captain who has to restrain himself before he steals everything.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. So, I want to do a Ghost Walkers story to put on FF.net, but I need a bit of help.
Should I write about Laszlo Prebion, the young Ghost Walker who was seconded to the Deathwatch, or should I write something about a newly inducted Ghost Walkers scout, on the eve of his "true" inception into the Chapter (i.e that zany part where they burn the Codex Astartes)
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies. After much correcting and editing, chapter 20
. My longest chapter by about 4,000 words.
I like the scout one.

Read all of my fanfics!Minor nitpick, would the Space Marines know about soulstones?
Then again, at this point, the Blood Ravens have cooperated with the Eldar on a few occasions, no doubt the Eldar told them why they recover soulstones so the Space Marines wouldn't touch them, since they have knowledge of the Chaos Gods.
I seem to have heard somewhere that people usually have reactions to a Chaos Gods' name being spoken out loud, as if invoking it sends shivers down a person's spine. Might just be one Black Library writer's interpretation, though.
I can see a confrontation between Draco and Augustine being inevitable at this point. Him removing the soulstone was a bit questionnable, especially since it'll probably make the Eldar crazy pissed...Yep, it did.
That Carnifex kill was spectacular, although if I may levy a bit of criticism (something that I myself am also quite bad at), that could have been a more tense fight if you'd drawn it out for just a few more paragraphs. This way it felt like the death was cheapened just a little.
Wow, you've somehow managed to make Vandis an even bigger dick than he was in the game.
Biel-Tan was the Craftworld that Macha was from, wasn't it? What are they doing here, or that going into spoiler territory?
A more general praise of your writing, I like how now, barely 1/3 way through the vanilla Dawn of War 2 campaign, you've already involved Eliphas, and you're slowly setting up the story of Chaos Rising. I really like that.

Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.
I believe that the reaction to hearing the names of the Dark Gods really only applies to civilians, who aren't used to hearing them.
I'm really more like 2/3rds of the way done, as I've considerably cut down on the amount of things I need to cover. The entire Typhon part of the game, the search for the array, is being handled "off-screen" as they say. Honestly, it was boring in the game, and it would be boring written, no matter how hard I try.
Read all of my fanfics!
That's true. I meant in terms of events that there were to cover, since I didn't know which parts you'd include or not.
I do hope you include a suitably epic battle against either the Avatar of Khaine or Warboss Bonesmasha.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.I have stuff planned for both of them. It will be awesome. I can't wait to write it.
Read all of my fanfics!Say, do you think it's plausible for a Rogue Trader character hailing from one of the more wealthy and influential dynasties to commission a shipyard to build a starship from scratch using a completely customized design, rather than retrofit/modify an already completed one?

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.

In other news, I have been contemplating creating a world-building thread for fleshing out elements of the WH 40 K setting that have not been extensively touched upon.
Example: Juvenat. Whether it's a single kind of treatment or a whole regimen of treatments that may or may not have to be taken together, the only thing we know about Juvenat is that it is the Imperium's answer to lifespan extension. Now, I have been pondering on fleshing this particular element by noting all the multiple possible kinds of life-extension treatments that the Imperium could use (we could draw upon other spec-fi works for ideas), determine which ones could be considered "legal" by orthodox Imperial doctrines and which would be seen as forbidden/proscribed, and come up with suitable WH 40 K-style names for them.
Well, what do you think?
