Honestly, this whole climate change/global warming thing is upsetting me big time.
I'm a computer guy, and I want to spend my life making and playing video games. I love computers, and the things they do. I benefit in many other ways from modern technology as well, and I plan to do so more into the future.
But you know? The main reason all this ever happened is because of the Industrial Revolution. And guess what else happened because of it? Yup, global warming.
In other words, the things I love most came about because of the same thing that started this global warming bullshit.
And the worst part is: this seems like it could really destroy civilization, and make computers, the internet, and all their benefits go away. Then where will I be!?
EDIT: I've realized that the whole article about the Siberian craters might be sensationalizing things. It still isn't proven that the holes are forming due to methane, right? That's hardly to say that we shouldn't still try to stop global warming, but it is to say that we shouldn't be panicking about the end of the world. (Easier said than done, I know; this post originally had me begging for some sign of hope. Still, given all I've said above, you can forgive me for panicking, right?
)

Proving stuff in science is really hard. Especially when you can't experiment on it. So much of science uses a lower standard by seeing if there is contradicting evidence.

Research from Cambridge and Aberdeen universities estimates greenhouse gases from food production will go up 80% if meat and dairy consumption continues to rise at its current rate.
That will make it harder to meet global targets on limiting emissions.
The study urges eating two portions of red meat and seven of poultry per week.
So yeah. We all need to go veggie immediately or we're all going to die.
