Avellone already had a minor role in consultation for the first season, didn't he?

Remember, Chris and company don't own the series anymore. At this point, they're descended creators to Ascended Fanboy. And yes they did do consulting work on S1. They've been close to production anyways. Now they'll just be writing and directing some scripts of their own.

They said as much in the QA. Also that her shaving it will probably be a plot point because a wig in Mojave heat is a terrible idea.

We don't have any concrete dates, but they've said it'll be early spring 2013, at the latest.

I'm getting really excited about S2. Should be great.

Also the IMDB page for the show got updated. Looks like Chris Avellone isn't just writing, he's got 5 episodes planned for Season 2.

Does making a "canon" or "definitive" version of a customizable protagonist of the games seem sorta like a not necessarily good idea to anyone else?

Especially when you could feasibly have a female Courier or something.

Wait. Courier Six is the one you play as, right? Because Ulysses would be cool.

Especially since the creators have said multiple times that they don't want to interfere with canon in any large ways.

I don't see how it could possibly be Ulysses, since the actor in the pictures was very white.

Wait. Which actor are we talking about?

And what about all the players that made their Couriers black?

EDIT: Also, how can Ceasar's Legion exist unless the Courier sided with them? I'm pretty sure it was heavily implied they started collapsing without Caesar.

Unless, of course, this all takes place before that fateful delivery.

Yeah, this all takes place before New Vegas. I want to say the timeframe is 2277, but I'm probably pulling that out of my ass.

The actor I mentioned is a guy in the video Sirboulevard linked who was wearing an outfit that looked a lot like the Independent Courier's duster, leading to the assumption that he is meant to be the Courier. He was white and male.

Didn't the courier get that duster at the end of New Vegas though?

And since the courier's age was customizable, depending on how long before New Vegas this is s/he might not be alive yet.

Yeah, that is a slightly confusing aspect of it.

I guess we'll know when Season 2 starts. In five years.
