I figure there might be a delay at some point, but what they have so far is solid.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI still expect delays (99% chance with any crowdfunded project), though I imagine they'll be pretty upfront about it here.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiIdeally they'll release on time- they've been working consistently, there haven't been any major setbacks, and they've constantly showing and updating on their progress.
Most likely there will be a delay- almost entirely likely due to debugging and game testing. But I highly doubt Mediocre Number 5.8 Mighty Number 9 levels of delay (And quality)
I really want the vectors they used for all of the characters so I can make my own wallpapers. "There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-Mae
I mean, Shantae recently got a few weeks of delay for debugging and testing. People won't mind.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectWell, that does assume their estimate is accurate. As someone who works with code, it's very difficult to get that right. If they haven't had any major problems or inconsistencies, then I expect it'll just be a 1-2-month delay.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectTo be fair, constantly failing to deliver is a good reason to get angry. Crowdfunding is one of those rare arenas where one can get away with more than 1-2 delays. Even then, though, the bleeding-heart masses have their limit.
EDIT:
More like constantly. It's why I roll my eyes when spout crap about how no game is worth $50-60 and/or trivialize how much work goes into making them. Or course, the uninformed talking shit is nothing compared to the informed vastly underestimating the work they have to do and making promises they can't keep.

True. With crowdfunding, people invest more and the extra scrutiny is at least slightly warranted. The Bloodstained game got pretty heavily pushed back recently, but the team there are very open, so the blowback doesn't seem to have been too great. I don't think game crowdfunding's rep would survive another high-profile project imploding though.
Eh. For TFH, we're purely talkin' hypothetically at the moment anyway. It seems to be chugging along.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectMy question is where exactly did crowdfunded games get such a poor reputation? Obviously there was Mighty No. 9 but that attitude was around before that and I can't really think of anything high-profile tanking enough to warrant that.

This song needs more love. It's not necessarily one thing. Start with a fundamental distrust of handing some random people your cash, add a few smaller projects over the years that were victims of terrible mismanagement or seeming fraud. Stuff like Yogsventures, Beast's Fury (another anthro themed 2D fighter, concidentally), Code Hero... It builds up in people's minds. Many games made via crowdfunding do actually get done and done well, but it's hard to shake off the failures.
Mighty No. 9 was at least released, but the final result didn't really seem to justify the many delays or money invested, so it gets to be the poster child. Maybe that's not quite fair, but there you go.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectAnd Ed's pretty much got it. All it takes is one dick actually scamming people to mess stuff up. Add onto that devs who grossly overestimate their ability or underestimate the work causing huge delays and releases that get massively overhyped only to fail to deliver when they do release and... well, it's not hard to see why people are finally starting to see the significant risks in crowdfunding. It's basically Investing 101 and these people are learning it firsthand.

FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiOne other one that might make people wary, not because it had a Kickstarter (because I'm reasonably sure it didn't), but because it involved skeezy advertising and indie devs possibly being way overestimating themselves (if not outright lying): No Man's Sky. It's bad enough that they're being investigated by an advertisement board.
FE: New Mystery Only Feet 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Umamusume Haru Arima 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshi- Game delayed by about one month (End of April>End of May) for extra polish time.
- Game nearly done! Progress can be seen at the forums or the streams.
- Backer’s Beta happening mid to late April
- Union Voice Talent a possibility. This is good.
- Work Stream happening as usual. Timed for this Friday, March 24. In this link.

Yeah, as far as I can tell, you get a receipt email with the digital rewards listed, but there's no download link. You have to head to your Backerkit survey page.
