I'm all for leaving the variantions - there is(or was) a section on tactics that I feel fits better on an analysis page, but which Nocturna added back to the sandbox I started. Since Fast Eddy's killed the section from the kuudere page, I'll go ahead and redo my sandbox to have them on a subpage.
It's here, if you want to take a look.
Oh, I thought they meant what were the standings like before it was disconnected (I was curious too, since I missed all the action.) My bad.

Currently reading a Sci-Fi Dystopian Murder Mystery Forbidden Romance Adventure Thriller In Space. Your argument is invalid.Okay, all done. I also switched out page quotes(I'd just rather avoid one that calls out a mask-wearing case unless we decide to limit the trope to such cases) and restored the note on "kuudere"(is there really enough to say on that for a page without duplicating the trope's description?).
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanTook out the Japanese from Sandbox.Girl Who Acts Very Distant But Is Actually Quite Nice, if that is draft we're working on. It should be de-gendered, like the current kuudere.

Goal: Clear, Concise and Witty![]()
Those sub-types are needed, it isn't analysis or tactics. Those are variants which are universal, not just Japanese.
There for the need to be on the trope page or else examples that do currently fit this trope would have to be purged, when they do fit this trope or more a variant of this trope.
Said variants are not big enough to have their own sub-tropes either.
On a side note though - 100% for degendering it.

The subtypes are the type 1, type 2, and type 3 that are mentioned in the sandbox. (Type 1 is Always in Control, Type 2 is Once You Get To Know Her, and 3 is She Has Moods.)

Currently reading a Sci-Fi Dystopian Murder Mystery Forbidden Romance Adventure Thriller In Space. Your argument is invalid. The "___dere" paragraph which was removed from the article was actually the compare/contrast paragraph of the trope. Here's a possible re-write, removing some of the not-so-relevant links:
Compare Not So Stoic and Stoic Woobie. Related to Beneath the Mask. Sister Trope to Tsundere (angry outside, sweet inside and vice-versa), Yandere (sweet outside, Ax-Crazy inside), and Cute and Psycho (sweet outside, insane inside).
Would that pass muster?
EDIT: Removed Dandere.

yeah It is one of the 3 switching tropes.
Dandere ummm we need to fix up that Fan Speak page before we link it anywhere so yeah to removing that till then...

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!
Crown Description:
Final crowner for the trope formerly known as Kuudere. Do not add more titles to this crowner.

Subtypes aren't subtropes , they wouldn't work as sub tropes due to being The Same But More we can't launch a new YTTKW for them.
They are variants of the trope formerly known as Kuudere. Much like how it's cousion Tsun Dere has sub-types.
It's a complex trope but not complex enough to justify a total split, however removing those variants leaves examples that no longer fit the new definition but do in-fact count as one of the three variants but each variant isn't big enough on it's own to be a sub-trope.
These aren't tactics these are variants just like how Tsundere has variant types.
