Hey, guys. Is there anyone out there who follows Stephen Hunter's books? He created Bob Lee Swagger, a USMC sniper from the Vietnam War, who is based on Carlos Hathcock. Hunter wrote books like Point Of Impact, Dirty White Boys, Black Light, Time To Hunt, Hot Springs, Pale Horse Coming, Havana, The 47th Samurai, Night Of Thunder, I Sniper, and Dead Zero. Anybody else out there read any of these?

Necro thread alert. Yep, I love his stuff. Read most of the ones listed, though I refuse to watch any adaptation that screws with the timeline.

If you like Hunter's stuff, particularly the ones with Bob Lee Swagger, there is a British author you may also like. A.J. Quinnell. The man behind the Denzel Washington starring "Man on Fire". Not one of Denzel's best, but a fairly good film nonetheless.

Quinnell's books are well researched, have lots of action and many bad men die, just like in Hunter's ouvre.
