I'm thinking of a Luck roll for Jessie on whether she can understand the sounds she's hearing from the front hall, outside the dining room she's trying to hide in. If it's possible, what kind of target should I expect for the roll if I do? (I'm guessing the target would be quite high, if it's even possible, as the closed doors are muffling the sounds down.)

TMINE:(T=F:17,S:0/10);(J=F:6,S:4/20)Hmm... if you get a four you can tell generally which direction they're moving in. Get an eight and you can make out what they're saying.
Also, both 'home team' and 'invading' maids can spend favor to make a roll on a random events table, just in case anyone wanted to cause some random confusion ^_~...

H:44F(8/30)S|G:19F(0/10)SIt wasn't a contested roll, so i won't make her roll for stress, but she is completely visible until she makes another stealth roll to become invisible again or hide. Rolls can still be made to detect her when she's invisible (as this isn't a Power like Stalk or Escape), but considering it's invisibility, she can probably manage to hide in plain sight if she needs to...
H:44F(8/30)S|G:19F(0/10)SI'm assuming no roll is needed for the Spyhold search party to hear the door slam, since Jessie intended for that to happen.
Speaking of Jessie; I used a Luck roll for which door Jessie would go for, since she doesn't know what's behind either door. A higher result would have gotten the library; which is larger and (obviously) has lined bookshelves, yielding more available hiding places than the reading room she's moved toward.

TMINE:(T=F:17,S:0/10);(J=F:6,S:4/20)Hmm... if it's in-theme and in-character for her to have it, then you wouldn't need the first roll, which would probably be luck. You'll just need a roll on the attribute you associate with mad science in order to see if it works. Also, let us not forget that this is not the first invasion of tongue monsters from dimension H that they have seen today...

H:44F(8/30)S|G:19F(0/10)SIn this case the trap isn't being actively used by anyone, so it's not considered a "fight." Therefore, she's free to show off as much as she likes, as no maids will likely to be harmed.
In other words, she didn't really need to ask for permission to tidy up some vermin in the mansion, but her superiors appreciate the heads up and the initiative; she is free to proceed.

H:44F(8/30)S|G:19F(0/10)SLet's see.. I didn't think a roll would be needed for Tammy's attempt to keep the Dark maids occupied in discussion as she is (basically) telling the truth. Plus, Jessie is unaware of the situation within the Manor (especially since she appears to have been dead almost as long as Dan has been alive) , while Gemma appears to know the full truth about Dan's 'business assignment'.

Whoops, well that's what I get for forgetting to look in, post comming up in a bit.
