I tell you what. I'll throw in one of my Oblivion characters, seeing as the OP (once) implied this should be a generic fantasy world.
- Name: Blondie (What are ya gonna do?)
- Age: Twenty-five-ish.
- Gender: Male.
- Species: Orc
- Appearance: Like most orcs, he has green skin, short (can't really use them in combat) tusks, and a slightly pig-like nose. Unlike most orcs, he has golden blond hair (because I could, that's why). It's cut kind of short; he doesn't look like Fabio or anything, but it is kind of weird to look at. Also unlike most orcs, he doesn't wear armor of any kind; just simple, tan cloth pants and a shirt n' jacket kind of thing (Pic when I can get one). In Oblivion, his clothes are enchanted so that he has a decent Armor Rating; here, I think he'll just have a ring that does the same. Think of it as a sort of really weak invisible force field that lets him not get hurt quite so bad as the next wizard.
- Combat Prowess: Speaking of wizards, he's a mage; he has a wide variety of spells that he can cast, all on short or no notice and in the space of a second (but only one at a time, and he has to worry about Magicka; this makes more difference than it sounds), from healing (not much at a time, though) to water breathing, to a little homebrew I call Tri-Attack (three kinds of damage; exploits most weaknesses, dodges most resistances). He doesn't use any weapons except for a bow (and that's only when he wants to poison something), but he has an inordinately high Hand-to-Hand skill; in Oblivion, this mostly just means he can punch you really well.
- Personal Traits: Not really applicable, I'm afraid. There isn't much room for Character Development in Oblivion. He's a good guy; that's about all there is to say.
- Philosophy: Same here.
- Biography: And here. You start the game in the Imperial City Prison, so presumably he was arrested for something once. What it what is anyone's guess.

Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman.Waiting for GM's approval.

Cmon, I have like 7 interested people but only 2 OCs?
Move that gear up!

Egh, Oc means original character. If you can turn the meaningless npc into your own character via backround information and characterization, he's in. Until then, the RP does not start.

I AM TEEMO. I AM ETERNAL.Necrobumb dos.
- Personal Traits/Personality: Slightly smug about his brains. Likes asking the question that nobody else thought of, and finding the solution no one else noticed.
- Philosophy: Sees magic as something you get better at through patience, practice, and effort, like building muscle.
- Biography: He's always felt a craving to be different from other orcs; he wants to show that an orc can be more than just canned muscle. With this in mind, he left his people and their customs behind to join the ranks of the Mages Guild, only to find that they were just as pigeonholed. Nowadays, he tries to focus on mastering the ways of magic and muscle, training himself in unarmed combat and spellslinging, and enchanting his clothes to be nearly like armor. He was investigating some ruins for the Mages Guild when he was transported to the Enigmatic Man's living room.
That work?
EDIT: I decided to dump the canon stuff like jail and the main quest, so now we've just got a barefisted wizard.

Well, it ain't going to live very long if nobody knows where to find it
. I ctrlF'd all three pages of threads before I found this; I resorted to checking the post numbers.
RP-Making Tip From Someone Who's never Made An RP #1: Stick To One Name. Give the sign-up thread the same title as the game thread. If they can't find it via ctrlF, it's too hard to find.
Tip #2: Link everything to everything. Link the sign-up thread to the game and discussion threads (game to sign-up optional). It's even better if they don't have to look in the Topics pages.
