Nope. But they may have since fixed it.
#1597 - All Wrapped Up
is posted. I like that we're getting details on how they handle the aftermath, but part of me kind of does wish they did the "enemy is conquered, roll credits and move on" thing, because this is further delay for whatever comes next.
Am I the only person who rather likes Arianna? She's somebody who is tackling a difficult but necessary job with a certain amount of enthusiasm and a lot of skill, and who's prepared to give as good as she gets and to explain stuff to the new recruit in clear but not patronising terms. Her only real vice seems to be venting about being Surrounded by Idiots a bit too often. (Oh, and selling tacky toys at high prices at the drop of a hat.)

= Spindriver =I like Arianna. She seems pretty nice, just a bit of a control freak, because her job requires control, and it's an important job.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Definitely a pun I didn't pick up on until I read the comments. Interesting phrasing by the one combatant that he figured it was just a normal brawl up until a point. I have my doubts that Vehemence was influencing people that early, but it is possible.
I didn't pick up on it for a good few minutes. Made me feel kinda stupid when I finally figured it out.

in which we learn that injuries were surprisingly low and that Sydney may have done the most damage to one of the combatants.
Unwinding
wherein Sydney explains more of her strategy, continues scanning for bad guys, and displays a new jacket-summoning power.

His "What? I have a condition" reminds me of Revolver Ocelot in The Last Days of FOXHOUND with his Chronic Backstabbing Disorder.
Sydney is tired
. And it is interesting to see the orbs apparently kept operating for a bit after she fell asleep, but eventually deactivated.
Sydney has a revelation
about her shield and Dabbler is... er... recharging.
Admittedly, it's a revelation that's probably a bit of a pain for the artist, as it means he may have to revise some of those early strips...
Even heroes get cramps
, apparently. And yeah, Falcon Punch is a horrible idea to deal with them.
Yeah... that's going to make a wonderful soundbite to air. Given the number of villains who indicated that they were somewhat forced to fight, I wonder how it will take for one of the tabloids to decide that superpowers make people violent nuts by default.

What are the odds it would even be in the top 100 problems Arianna has to deal with before lunch? Sydney telling off those reporters is barely even going to register to Arianna, except maybe for a case of jealousy that Sydney actually can tell them off and she's stuck being nice to them all the damn time.
I remember reading about that in the Kid Dynamo fanfic. It made complete sense to me. Most people don't carry a method of gauging location, probably would have a hard time gauging their speed, and won't recognize the landmarks. Of course, GPS units, often built into phones, do mean people have more options. It took me a reread, trying to figure out why she wasn't using her Archon wristband, to realize that that was what she forgot to charge. At first, I thought it had something to do with the orbs.
No getting-lost arc for Sydney, but Joe more than makes up for it
. Man... four years cover the space of a day or two? And I thought El Goonish Shive was bad...

Dogpile Tactics
It's tactically sound. Distract him, cut off his air-supply. Disrupt the ground beneath them and then hold him down under the water. Also, good psychology on Sydney's part, shaming the villain into helping.
Now, she just has to hope that Vehemence didn't channel any points into Immunity (Suffocation [All]).
