One thing I've noticed is that if a YMMV item is posted in a non-YMMV page as a secondary bullet point under an objective trope, the red dot doesn't appear. Why?

Do you know any pages where that makes a difference?

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.

It doesn't matter what kind of page.

The problem works like this.

  • (objective trope)
    • (YMMV item)

The YMMV item won't get the dot.

Another glitch I've found is that if you write Tear Jerker or Ear Worm as one word (i.e. Tearjerker, Earworm), it doesn't trigger the red bullet.

[up]There's a similar glitch involving custom titles and deliberate red links. For example, This Troper comes out blue if written as T His Troper, tHisTroper or anything like that. Same goes with custom titles, like So Bad, It's Good can show up as So Bad, It's Good.

I think that they both use essentially the same kind of code, and that code happens to be case sensitive.
