"Calm down, for God's sake. Say it much louder, they might actually hear you."
Dean (very carefully) stepped onto the giant multilayer card. Bearing in mind that MJOLINR armor can make the user weigh half a metric ton, he was far too worried to care how ridiculous he looked.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Lucas was slightly regretting painting his armor black.
Sure, he wasn't going to be on this resort planet for long, but he knew two things about the planet just stepping out of the Ozymandias.
One, it was hot. Very hot, hotter than a dry day in a desert hot. Well, maybe not that hot, but it was certainly enough to ensure you packed the proper materials getting here, lest you get the worst sunburn in your life.
Two, it was crowded. Being a resort planet, this part would be obvious, but Elysium was a bit more of a... stagnant type of crowded. He supposed, however, you'd stop dead in your tracks too and join the crowd that was watching a sword swallowing hanar.
These didn't make for the best combination in particularly thick black armor, and Lucas felt as though he was being baked where he stood, squinting into the crowd for a sign of Una, Deimos, Marik... anyone from the Ozzy.
"Where'd they run off too...", Lucas openly pondered, not afraid to voice his thoughts in a crowd such as this.
Out of the corner of his visor he thought he saw a familiar tattooed woman passing by. Well, there's someone from th-, he began, taking a step in that direction, only to... fall? Into a black nothingness? Wait, what?
If anyone cared to listed to the cry of "AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAHHHHH-" somewhere below them, as well as the "Agh!" of someone hitting the ground in pain, they might look down to a figure in black armor on the ground, unmoving.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank Hill"Medic!" Amaranth shouted. She didn't know whether the Health Drinks she had would work on the man who had fallen from the sky, and didn't want to find out in what could well be a life-or-death situation.
She would be much more willing to use Repth or another healing spell, if she had any.
"Only now, after being besieged by a flock of talking ponies, did he really understand what he'd lost. "Lucas regained most of his consciousness to slowly returning vision and a splitting headache. Well, to be fair, everything ached, but his head took priority on what he felt in terms of splitting aches. What just..., he thought, trying to remember what happened. Armor... Hot... Officer Morano... Falling...
He was a slight bit confused as he stopped at that last thought. Falling...? Why was...
Slowly, he began to move, and try to get up. In his current state, though, that amounted to nothing more than being able to flip over on his back and stare up at...
What was he looking at? In his current state he couldn't tell, and wasn't sure he wanted to know.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillNow someone was speaking to him, although Lucas couldn't tell where. It seemed distorted at times, near silent at others. After several seconds after the fact, Lucas figured out what they said: "Live long and prosper, dude. Are you okay?"
Well, at least whoever was talking wasn't hostile. Knowing nothing about his situation, that was a plus, he supposed. Trying to respond through the pain, all Lucas could properly manage to say was something to the effect of "... hnnnggh... no..."
His vision was getting clearer now. Whatever he had been looking at previously was rectangular, save for one deformity... wait. Lucas couldn't quite be sure, but...
Was that a head?

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillAmaranth couldn't help chuckling a little bit.
"I don't quite think that's relevant here..."
She did, on the other hand, watch a fair amount of TV. What she remembers will probably be extremely inconsistent. Then again, she does have memory problems.
"Only now, after being besieged by a flock of talking ponies, did he really understand what he'd lost. "With his sight and hearing returing, Lucas now identified about three other voices besides the first one. This spoke in a somewhat higher volume, seeing as none of them sounded like they were hostile either.
One of them offered to lift him onto the... card? Was that what the object above him was- a card? How was that even possible? Still, Lucas didn't think he was that bad off that he needed someone to pick him up. He attempted to get up again, and while he couldn't stand up yet his second attempt was more fruitful- he could sit up now, much to the protest of a good few of the required muscles to do so.
This only increased his confusion about what had happened, as now the question arose of where he was. It certainly didn't look like anywhere he'd been before. Maybe this is a colony somewhere in the Terminus System?, he thought to himself, before looking back up at the card, which dispelled that theory pretty quickly. Wherever he was, it certainly wasn't anywhere where that was possible.
"How are you...", he began a bit groggily but much more clearly than his last reply, not quite able to finish the question.

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank HillLucas raised a hand in response, shaking his head slowly. "No, that's... not what i meant." He certainly admired the man's sense of humor talking to someone who fell- Wait. How far did he fall? That certainly felt like a fatal distance, but the most he suffered was very aching muscles. Did his shields take the brunt of that?
Slowly, Lucas checked, and gave a small exhaling breath of thanks. It had taken the brunt of that, and was likely the reason he was able to survive. The problem being, it wasn't rebooting. Keeping on living at the cost of my shield is... a fair trade., he thought.
"As i was saying," he continued, turning his attention back to the one adressing him. "How are you doing that?"

"You lost, Dio. You lost for one simple reason - you were using charcoal." - Hank Hill"Magic.", Lucas parroted. The normal thought in this cirmumstance might have been that he had spent way too much time on Omega. However, he was looking at him as he was floating on a card, and couldn't exactly give credit to his answer or what he was seeing to the plethora of drugs in the air there.
However, another detail caught his attention. "Stranded here..." Looking around, Lucas realized he had to have been right- There wasn't any visible way to... anywhere, really, and apparently that meant they were stranded here. That meant he probably was too.
The good thing here was that he was being offered a ride away from where he currently was, and he couldn't quite walk in his current state. His body would never forgive him for trying to walk away now. So that meant his only way of getting anywhere and figuring out how to get back was to band with whoever was floating in mid-air there on that card.
"... Sure.", Lucas replied. "You think you could bring that a bit closer? I can hardly stand as is, but i can probably get on it if you can bring it any closer."

"Probably not," Ace said, noticing the sag. three more cards flew form his back pouch and grew to the size of the card they were all on and they went to the bottom, making it stable;
"It'll move far slower, but now we'll still get somewhere," Ace said as the card rose high above the ground and moved steadily towards where the construction was.
