I guess they don't know how Bandai toy catalogs work. They're absolute, with Lupineranger vs Patranger only being the exclusion.
Yay for Aqua? I found him forgettable during Mega Max so I had little expectations from his appearance here. That being said, it's really amusing he kept with him the pair of boxers that Eiji gave him for like six years and using it to gather up courage. Hoping his action scenes picks up with Eternal next episode.
Kinda hard to feel for Ora in any way considering she basically spend most of her stint on the show barely a character. Although her trying to make okonomiyaki in an apron was amusing.
Heure. Man Sougo triggered a freaking death flag there.
A part of me expected Another Decade!Swartz to fight but him summoning movie riders makes a whole lotta sense now for Eternal. Even though the riders summons were one from a series I dislike (Ghost), one following series I dislike (Ex-Aid), one from a series I haven't watched (G4), and one whose movie I only remember barely (Rey).
Okay with the episode but a lot of the plot dump would have made more sense if it was spread out earlier. Looking forward to Eternal since I really like A-Z but I would have liked Skull better. I know he's not villainous in any way (besides the Death/Dummy Dopant copying him). I just like Skull more.
Kamen Rider Zero-One - A New Era, A New Hero, A New Legend
So there's been no talk of the recent ep of Zi-O. It took a while to get complete subs it seems. That being said, I just caught it now:
Ora...you're gonna burn. And not even with the good flames of hell. If there's discount flames of hell that are cheaper and feel worse, those are reserved for you.
Oh god. This is my first time seeing your new avatar rob. I was not prepared.
Oh she will burn. Cause, at this point she either dies because of Swartz or dies with regrets over she did but no redemption
Also I got bored, looked at Another Decade's entry on the Characters page and thought up ones for the other movies. Except Blade and Hibiki because I didn't watch them yet and most of the movie wars and other movies cause there's too many. I'm keeping them spoilers off because I'm getting tied of tagging every line. Plus, they're been out for a while now.
Ryuki: Dark Shinji wins and he fights Ren but I think it's pretty much moot because Yui still dies in that timeline so Shiro resets again.
Faiz: Either Psyga, the Elasmotherium Orphenoch or Kiba as Orga kills Takumi, thereby dooming humanity to extinction and letting the Orphenoch reign.
Kabuto: Caucasus overwhelms Kabuto with the Hyper Zecter, the Earth becomes a permanent arid landscape overrun by the Worms with the bigger ass meteor. Since Kabuto never gets the Hyper Zecter to defeat Caucasus and then go back in time to divert that bigger ass meteor to collide the one that eventually becomes the one that blows up Shibuya, mainline Kabuto never happens.
Den-O: There's an entry there for Yuuki Hijack Form but the same applies to Gaoh, with him destroying space time instead.
Decade: Standard Dai-Shocker rules the planet plot.
OOO: Gara defeats both OOO and Birth, therefore Eiji never overwhelms Gara's cell medal machine thing and Gara achieves the godhood the original OOO failed at.
Fourze: The Kyodains defeat both Gentaro and Ryusei, letting the Space Ironmen run amok among humanity. Though I rather it be Sagittarius taking out the two in the ending of the series, letting him be the one to meet the Presenters and saccing Earth in the process.
Wizard: Sorcerer beats Haruto and Nitou, letting humanity overwhelmed by despair and bringing forth their phantoms.
Gaim: Bujin Gaim overwhelms Kouta and Haruto and wipes out the other warlords, therefore taking control over Japan as Shogun instead of Tokugawa Ieyasu. With the soccer movie, Kougane overwhelms the Beat Riders. Hell was his motive though.
Build: Since that one's canon, depends on which of the Blood Tribe wins and absorbs/destroys the earth: Kamen Rider Blood, Evolt or Kilbas. If we throw in Kaiser Mogami, then he defeats Ex-Aid, Build and the other riders, allowing him to merge both worlds and rule over it.

So it occurs to me that outside of the Paradox Roimunde (who was just Ora's actress anyway) no one from Drive has appeared.
Do we know what the deal with that is? I'm not shocked at a lack of Kuuga characters considering how it's director was screwed (and how it's main actor said he wouldn't come back unless said director was involved), but why the lack of Drive characters?
Gou, Belt-san, and, if the character page is legit, Brain show up in the movie.
So yeah, another case of waiting 9 months just to figure out what the goddamn hell happened.

Takeuchi Ryoma (Drive's actor) seems to be too busy; a .5 episode, albeit in it's own joking way, basically admitted that. I assume they tried to get him, realized they couldn't and then wrote the movie as the Drive tribute instead. I mean, it works fine I guess - Krim was Drive type Tridoron, and we got Ridewatches from more tenuous links. And those two are way better than a random Special Investigations member (though I wouldn't have minded Kiriko) Then from there, the plot of Over Quartzer didn't call for Another Drive, so they put it in the show instead.
I'm not very far in, but the total lack of Kuuga characters bites a bit more now I've watched some. I've seen it pointed out that for a non-Rider, Ichijo could have worked pretty nicely.

Kamen Rider Zero-One - Henshin Sequence First Look
Trying to get back Ryouma Takeuchi was always a stretch because he falls in the same categories of actors whose career got them insanely busy following a toku stinct like with Satoh, Suda, Fukushi, and the guy that plays Shinken Red.
And the dude's a fan of Kamen Rider so it's just him being insanely busy.
They probably did try; they got Sato and apparently tried for Odagiri (don't know about Suda). But I doubt they were too surprised at the outcome.
Suda's booked solid for the next two years so it couldn't happen even if Toei tried.
I think the closest we'll ever get to getting Shotaro and Philip together outside promotional stuff is if Toei ever do some sort of W 10 years after. And that's if the conditions are in their favor.

So, next year?
Uh, this year is W's 10th anniversary not next year.
I think it is next year but I suck at math and DCD's half season threw off the math. Either way not happening anytime soon.
Guess Aqua's never coming back huh?
It's definitely this year as OOO was the 2010 series. W started in 2009 and ended in 2010.
I mean, we just finished an arc where dead dudes come back to life. Never say never.
And Shirakura has done the "He's Just Hiding!" trope before.

Ora....you suck and deserved to die. You murdered Heure for nothing, when you could have worked with the others. You are the most ineffectual of loners.
Well, Aqua did say they were only ensuring he'd become Ohma Zi-O. I guess we know how. Basically he become Ohma in order to save Tsukiyomi. Impressive job rendering it inoperable protagonists!
Maybe that's how he got those Time Jacker powers we saw in the first episode?
Well that explains God Emperor Oma Zi-O's madness a bit. Though I theorize the Oma Zi-O timeline could happen in the "Kill Swartz" timeline. That one depends on whether he either lives on as a lonely king without friends or basically becomes an even more insane Oma.
And way to plan out everything that could happen Swartz. I win and I get Oma powers. I lose and I get to fuck with the hero's head. I lose and he becomes King Tyrant and I'll just shrug and do this all over again just because. You're still a freaking jerk Ora. Could have died together with Heure but noooo. You had to be petty just because you got played like a ten-cent kazoo. And this is coming from the guy who is about as neutral to Heure as you can.
As short as it was I enjoyed the homage to W. Including the theme. Gonna miss you Eternal until I boot up W again for funsies again.
Why do I have the feeling the fourth option's possibility would be do what Gekiranger did and seal up Swartz and hang him around Sougo's neck. All while Sougo goes on to being a righteous king who may or may not say random Crunchtastic words.
